Wow those black holes have a very short pull. They pull very strongly and then not at all suddenly.

That's about the effect a very small black hole would have.
The acceleration drops off with the square of distance, so if you experience 2g 1m away you would experience only a ninth of that 3m away.
Obviously I doubt the map does it perfectly (and likely has a cut-off distance) but this type of seemingly extreme gravity change isn't completely unrealistic.
