I'm experiencing heat creep as well on this model and its driving me nuts. So many projects delayed. Do you have any ideas on how to fix it? PLA is basically unprintable now... changing the nozzle doesnt help.
I’ve had problems with heat creep when the ambient temp got too high (I’m printing in my garage). Honestly I directed a fan onto the printer and it helped. You have to be careful about how directly the air is blowing onto it though.
We just got this printer our first. and it won't print anything for us not even the first sample. I'm so sad. We have tried changling the nozzle and looking for answers.
So, you have leveled the bed right? It’s literally the first thing you have to do and the most common problem for first time printers. Rick Impey has a great video showing you how:
@@shortreststudios yes first thing we did. Followed all the instructions. It even extrudes the little bit when told to but when we tell it prit it moves like it's printing but nothing comes out
@@shortreststudios I will try leveling again. We are new at this so we don't really know what we Re doing. It was a disappointment. My 15 yr old wanted to start this so we are really trying to figure it out
I think 3D printers are fun but I like refraction and sadly only nature can do that it's like so strange how butterfly wings are grey it's just the refraction
as an ender 5 series fanboy.....this is like super complex compared to the simple three piece simplicity of the alpha hotends.........no wonder my mate has trashed his hotend. btw your tutorrial is good but that hotend has multiple points of failure
Youre a life saver traded my switch for the printer now im running
Glad I could help!
Nice video. I followed carefully and it was easy!

@@susangrant9457 what material are you printing with? What’s the nozzle temp, and what’s the ambient temp in your space?
@@shortreststudios the filament that came with it 200 for the tip and 60 for the base and our room is usually about 73
