    I had 2 boogers in mine! Thank you for the well explained fix to get me up and running again. I have the s1 pro. It appears to have came with an all metal hot end. Just had tubing in 1 area.

    I want to thank you for the video. I got everything apart and the screws were layed out then my 3yo grandson decided to mix them up while I was not looking. Took me forever to find the hole for one screw that I could not figure out. Next time as you go please show the screws too. But the video worked and I am back up and getting ready to run.

      Glad to hear it! And in retrospect I have no clue why I didn’t show the screws, that probably would have been super useful!

    Thanks for this video, it gave me some ideas what to expect when I needed to also unblock mine which was actually the exact same problem. I was not sure whether when I opened it, it would be benign, or whether a bunch of spring loaded mechanisms would pop out and I would destroy my printer :/ This helped a lot, cheers!

      Glad to hear it! I felt the same way opening it, there were several shots I didn’t include of me very carefully trying to separate it and look inside to make sure I wasn’t about to launch springs into the abyss!

    So the PTFE tube doesn't really touch the nozzle because there is a heatbreak between the tube and the nozzle right?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  9 месяцев назад +1

      Bingo, the PTFE tube only acts as a guide from extruder gears to heartbreak, nozzle never touches it.

      @@celeriomods8171 that's what I did for mine, once I had the e-steps and extruder offset right (the sprite is slightly bigger than the stock so the printer doesn't know where the center point actually is unless you tell it) and I haven't looked back. It prints anything I throw at it

      Sprite, and sprite pro. In the pro, it is the way you describe, on the sprite there is ptfe tube touching the nozzle. I think I will downgrade mine to ptfe, as ti seems to be easier to unjam

    Are those gears removable? I have been getting inconsistent layer lines no matter how much tuning I do. I'm worried I might have oblong gears or the bore for one of them may be slightly eccentric. I don't see any where to buy replacement gears and I want to say I saw somewhere that one of them is soldered to the shaft.

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  9 месяцев назад +1

      They do seem removable, though you may have better luck adjusting the tensioner for those gears. Depending on what material you print, a lighter or heavier tension can make a world of difference

    Anyone know the best firmware for this as the Creality one I downloaded I had to off set the y axis as it was probing off the bed and now it only bed levels about 3/4s of the way to the back of the bed. The small cr touch probe wire also doesn’t seem to be compatible and I’ve had to keep using the original long cr touch cable.

      Look for Ender 3 v2 Professional Firmware. It’ll be on GitHub, and it’s far better than anything creality has.
