As a man, I can confirm that I do like Pretty tools, good looking tools, or tools that work. Really, as long as its one of the three. I guess I just like tools. The moving wall/Swinging shelf ideas are GENIOUS! I love it. one thing you can do is sand down the path of the door, which can look pretty ugly, or if you are ok with loosing some of your bottom shelf space, buy a 6" pneumatic tire/caster, and mount it "inside" the shelf, they roll way smoother on rough surfaces, and are usually not too expensive (sub $10) for the cheap ones.
Love the space, love that it looks and functions like a proper bike rider's work/play space should function. The fact that you both took the time to think of the angle of the water bottles, the placement of the ebikes, just, everything in a very purposeful spot......well done.
GREAT video! As another woman, I too like pretty tools! Love your new space and especially the moving wall! Like the person below, I would have suggested wheels/casters for that space...but I also think that Macky will come up with some sort of fabulous idea... just when the timing is right. And "yes" would love to see more videos on bearing installs and anything else you'd like to share. Thanks for all of your efforts you two!!
Stretching some bungee cord or bungee net across the front of the closet door/shelf will help keep the items in place when opening but still leave them visible and easily accesible. Also helps prevent stuff from falling in an earthquake.
If you screw a few hard plastic cutting boards (or cut one into strips) it would possibly help the door slide across the floor better. Might have to cut in some tracks for the hard plastic to sit in if it's that tight.
jajaja the closet door is the hilarious moment!...nice place!...I lived my whole life in an apartmet and having a house to build something like that is my dream, very nice.
I really appreciate that you don’t have park tool riddled all over your workshop. Makes me feel like a could eventually have one of my own shops without breaking the bank on all park tool products.
SUGGESTION for the closet door. Put a front railing on each shelf to prevent items from falling off as you open door. A simple strip of wood (decorative) from left to right. Long time listener (watcher), since your first video with Seth Bike Hacks. Best part is that both channels are seperate but work together as well. Keep it up. And continue to ignore trolls and idiot comments. We who REALLY LIKE your content kinda rarely comment but are always here.... Kudos
As someone living in apartment, I envy you for your garage workshop. That is probably the main reason why I would move to a house, instead living in apartment. but I'd be freaked out leaving all those bikes without securing them somehow, and even then, I'd be reluctant to go somewhere for more than few hours :D I love what you did with that wall, I thought you used pallets. looks awesome and I'll need to do something with my basement space, where I tinker around my bike. and as a guy, I do love pretty tools :)
I have a 1 br apt with 4 bikes on 2 wall racks (2 mtb, 2 road), and 1 more mtb on a Park Tool maintenance stand! So yeah, loving the shop guys! I could live in that no problem! Lol!
You could try a diagonal brace in the secret wall? Might be able to omit the wheel entirely and if you use threaded rod retain some adjustment for sagging in the future
Your garage/workshop looks great, as outdoor wash stations go one thing that works well if you want to wash a muddy bike down and yourself with warm water is a outdoor camping gas califont or pet wash.
A great way to reuse the fence wood and looks awesome.the new shop is sweet looking and lots more space. I'm looking looking at doing a similar thing in the new house when we move. Looking forward to a new bike shop area. Oh by thr way women are pretty and tools are just awesome.
Nice wall you built from old fencing. I like this shop. The ebike power cord will get old quickly. You should try to get the station closer to the power cord and have it drop straight down. I have a cord reel on my garage ceiling like yours and I only use it for temporary things like corded power tools. Something that requires longer use should be handled differently like your ebike station. You could add flooring to the garage, like that recycled tire tiles they use for gyms and then bury the cord between the gaps.
Well done guys. Syd, your tutorials have been eye opening. I recently finished building a Ibis Mojo, and your and Doddy at GMBN Tech have been invaluable. Thanks to Macky too, he da man.
Syd, Macky…look into RV shelf nets to prevent things falling off your closet door shelf system. They bungee so if you stuff protrudes out, it will form around it. 🤙🏻🤙🏻 Keep up the great work. Love your channels!
Hey that reminds me, I’ve been meaning to ask if you guys can do a shoe video.. I suppose on your other channel. What shoes are you using these days for different situations. I’m needing some new ones, would be cool to hear what you like best.. and I like your style. 🙂 Just an idea. Thanks!
For washing the bike inside there are wash cataining mats... those are designed for cars.. but i'm pretty sure you can find something that works for you
Great video. You two are quite adorable. Some questions: Tool wall - what is that metal looking tool wall material and where did you get it? Your Pearl Izumi bike pants. I’m a big iP (that’s supposed to be the Pearl Izumi symbol) fan. I love my bibbed iP pants. My 16 year old granddaughter loves to ride with me. But we have a dilemma in finding clothes for her since I just haven’t bought women’s bike clothes before (she’s too big now for the kid’s stuff she used to wear and these days she’s up to longer, tougher rides than those clothes were good for anyway). So, can you please tell me which iP pants you are wearing and maybe even why you like them?
Great video. I've had these bike wall racks for months and never realised they go inside out to use as a rack 😂😂 I've been struggling with a floppy hook the whole time haha!
My shop goes through so many different variations.... my latest improvements have to do with making a portion of it portable, which has been hard to do.

Why did you feel the need to preface that with "as a man"? Are we still in the 1940's? lol
@@falcoperegrinus82 Well if he’s 30 or so what else is he gonna call himself???
@@rohanjs. Do you recall hearing a sudden, unexplained whooshing sound recently? If so, that was my point sailing over your head.
@@falcoperegrinus82 hahaha, nope I don’t understand your point sadly
So, a garage/gym/workshop/film studio with a house conveniently attached. Your priorities are correct 👍🏻
Love the space, love that it looks and functions like a proper bike rider's work/play space should function.

On that closet shelf thing. They have heavy duty roller's for mechanic's tool box's. They do have suspension on them. You might check them out.
I love that kept in the stuff falling off the shelf.
Put a roller, or small wheel, on the "door is closet" and the movable wall. Works like a dream.
Stretching some bungee cord or bungee net across the front of the closet door/shelf will help keep the items in place when opening but still leave them visible and easily accesible. Also helps prevent stuff from falling in an earthquake.
OMG somebody finally shows the reality that you need a support space for the bikes not just enough space to store them.
If you screw a few hard plastic cutting boards (or cut one into strips) it would possibly help the door slide across the floor better. Might have to cut in some tracks for the hard plastic to sit in if it's that tight.
Holy BIKES! That is a full stable!
You can make a wish area inside the garage, with water resisting paint. Washing nice and warm inside...
Love the Mega-Shed-Garage! Your priorities are spot on with the bike workshop, storage, and gym!
jajaja the closet door is the hilarious moment!...nice place!...I lived my whole life in an apartmet and having a house to build something like that is my dream, very nice.
"You're a pretty tool!" ... y'all are just so cute together
"You're a pretty tool" 😂🤣😂 Shed 2.0 is awesome, well done!
I absolutely love the waterbottle rack. I've had too many bottles go moldy in the past, and this is a great solution!
Nice to see homeowners make proper use of a garage. 👍
Best line: "You're a pretty tool". I sense a theme for new merch
“You’re a pretty tool” almost made me choke on my drink laughing.
I really appreciate that you don’t have park tool riddled all over your workshop. Makes me feel like a could eventually have one of my own shops without breaking the bank on all park tool products.
Damn you guys have an awesome set up! Couple goals right there !!!
Bearing overhaul would be fantastic!
Retractable cord reel is the best thing I've put into my garage... Well... Besides all the BEER!
RUclips straw, push a string through with the help of water , then draw back an LED strip and illuminate 🧡

Macky- they are sick looking tools, lol.
Definitely keen on bearing removal vids, will be doing mine soon as I'm gonna pull my Norco Sight A3 apart for a new paint job soon.
As someone living in apartment, I envy you for your garage workshop. Wow, a bike workshop in a bedroom....now there's an idea!
Hi.. From Colombia.. Thanks.. I like yours videos...
Awesome sauce and super congratulations on your new upgrade.
Look forward to the bearing removal view. Can be a dark art . 👍
Echo in garage? Sound isolation on the ceiling helps BIG time. I use it in my studio.
If you replaced the wheel on the bottom of the shelves with a 29er, you'd have better small bump compliance ;-)
😂
you guys are awesome, videos very entertaining, and professional, content is great, and studio looks AH-MAZING!
Put bungee cords across the shelves to stop stuff from falling out when you move the shelf door!
Congrats on the new house!
I have a 1 br apt with 4 bikes on 2 wall racks (2 mtb, 2 road), and 1 more mtb on a Park Tool maintenance stand! So yeah, loving the shop guys! I could live in that no problem! Lol!

I wish we had the 4 dollar pr gallon. In Denmark its now over 8 dollar pr gallon 🤯🤯. Great video💪, and what an awsome place you got there.
Yay, your videos saved me! Shout out to the easy brake bleed ones 💗💗💗
You need some type of a bungee net or strap system on the door shelf, also a lip on the front of the shelves somehow.
Wow, can we get an overview of the different shoes and helmets, curious about the specific stuff you use :)
Well done guys! Add a lip to the door shelf thing that rattles when opening haha
Your garage/workshop looks great, as outdoor wash stations go one thing that works well if you want to wash a muddy bike down and yourself with warm water is a outdoor camping gas califont or pet wash.

great video amazing bit of space
Add a little piece of base shoe to the end of your shelf/door. It will help keep stuff in place
The secret room is great. But if you ever plan to hide a body there on short notice, you need to work out the silent door.
Great video and love the work bench and the folding wall!
Great to see you guys back.I have learnt so much from your videos👍👍
I working on revamping my work shop and this gives me ideas for it! Great video and Thanks for posting!
Well done guys. Syd, your tutorials have been eye opening. I recently finished building a Ibis Mojo, and your and Doddy at GMBN Tech have been invaluable. Thanks to Macky too, he da man.
4 bucks a gallon lucky you guys, it’s almost at 7 down here in SoCal, awesome garage btw
Syd, Macky…look into RV shelf nets to prevent things falling off your closet door shelf system. They bungee so if you stuff protrudes out, it will form around it. 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Keep up the great work. Love your channels!
Another great vid! Love the rustic wood boards!
Your garage look beautiful and amazing 👍 love both of your channels love the swinging. Wall 💡 keep up with the 🔥 videos
Syd you're amazingly capable and beautiful. Love your work.
Skratch Labs are the bomb!
Congrats on the new house and “shed”👍 Try getting a urethane wheel for your closet. They are a little more flexible and forgiving on a rough floor
Opening scene,,,,,,,,,,,, Macky needs to oil some door hinges! 😀 OR Sid fixes bikes and oils door hinges LOL
Thank you.
Amazing new setup! I will miss the Jack and Lily cameos
Hey that reminds me, I’ve been meaning to ask if you guys can do a shoe video.. I suppose on your other channel. What shoes are you using these days for different situations. I’m needing some new ones, would be cool to hear what you like best.. and I like your style. 🙂

awesome !
very nice! congrats on 100k!
Rollerblade wheels for the bookshelf? Maybe?
Netting in front of the selves so that things don't fall off. Spring loaded castors.
Love Shed 2.0, love “handsome” tools (like Macky… ;) and looking forward to lots of bearing videos (really!). :)
Best line of the video: "You're a pretty tool"
If you build a bike wash station check out what Seth made on Berm Peak, it's super functional and looks great
Love your wall
So nice video, greetings from your fan in Argentina!!
And as Paul Harvey used to say…and now the rest of the story. Interesting!
The swinging door sounds like something out of Frankenstein 😅😅😅
Cool ! Inspiring 👍
I am jealous of your new garage, well done! Also its amazing how cheap the gas is in the US, $4 per gallon is what we had here in the 90:s.
Wow that's a dream garage, awesome! nicer setup than some bike shops lol
For washing the bike inside there are wash cataining mats... those are designed for cars.. but i'm pretty sure you can find something that works for you
Beautiful setup. Please say you've got good theft insurance and a security service! ps. For water bottles, I use a baby bottle rack.
So nice detailed n informative vlog 👏👏👏👏👍
I wish I had the ability to organize that well.
Great video. You two are quite adorable.
Some questions:

I started commuting more by bike too because of $6 gas prices here!
Great video. I've had these bike wall racks for months and never realised they go inside out to use as a rack 😂😂 I've been struggling with a floppy hook the whole time haha!
Glad to provide some insight 🤣
Looks awesome
My shop goes through so many different variations.... my latest improvements have to do with making a portion of it portable, which has been hard to do.
Great follow up for the shed, maybe you should reduce the tire pressure on those closet door wheels 😉
I too have a seldom worn but unnecessarily large hat collection :-)
My friend ask me about this video: Now seriously What is this place?
Me: THIS IS HEAVEN
You need to attach a wheel on the door-shelf so that it will not rattle that much.....
Missed you two! Noice!
Felicidades chicos, se lo merecen!
Gas prices are the equilvant of over $9 here in the UK!
🤯🤯
So neatttt!
Congrats on the new place, Shed 2.0 is looking awesome. Ssssoooooooo many bikes now I’m jealous 🤤. What kind of bike is the dropbar ebike?
It's the Niner RLT e9 RDO. SO. MUCH. FUN!
Hey Syd, are you guys going to make it to Sea Otter this year?
Love Syd
