Agreed. As a photographer, filmmaker, I could not agree more. TV broadcast not just super average, but boring as well. They are not on the action, just doing a routine all the time.
The problem is that these cameras are set up without areo in mind. The cameras can not be disruptive to the functionality of the car. I bet the camera's Williams used were having a slight impact. Additionally, part of the problem is that F1 broadcasts the streams directly from car to broadcast facility. This causes loss of quality. The cameras Williams are using here are saved directly to storage for use later which means you are not losing quality from transmission.
@@NathanNguyen126 The other cameras F1 currently using are disrupting aero too. :) They are made to be aerodynamic though, and if they demand these could be mandatory, and will be the same for all the teams, hence would be no problem. Quality: What you described is true, but there are already better transmission systems than what F1 currently using, with lot more bandwidth, so this is only a problem if they are lazy. And we meant other cameras as well, like trackside. I also meant the direction is boring, lazy, repetitive, etc. These all could be fixed, if they truly wanted to.
that sigh of relief from the engineer next to Carlos when he says "Im happy". Same dude, same. I hope thats the vibe at Williams for 2025. Upward and onwards.
Still afterwards they ask if hes good because of how Carlos looks. He has a sortof resting bitch face but less bitch and more ptsd lmao. He sounds happy though with how they are helping him and how they are working! Really looking forward to seeing Carlos in all the videos this year, especially with Alex!
This is such an example of the difference between a seasoned driver and a new/less experienced one. He can provide much better feedback and he knows how to tell the engineers what he wants/needs to feel for him to take the car to its limits. I believe that Carlos can help Williams make that next step. I also hope that Alex will use this to learn and help with his career because he really hasn't had another teammate at Williams of this quality.
Very likely due to aerodynamic drag with the positioning of the cameras. It's ok for practice but not for racing. But I agree, the shots were very nice!

One thing that i was angry about was that a majority of the F1 fans is not trusting Sainz on his move to Williams. But if you look at the williams situation closely, you can see that the team principal (can't remember his name), said that 2025 season won't be the best and he said too that they were focusing on 2026 season. Which is a plan that i trust because they will get the mercedes 2026 new motorisation. Too many people are underestimating this move but i think that we can trust our Smooth Operator.
that last clip of carlos talking to the mechanics is what he will really bring to williams, the ability to use his experience to fine tune that car will be a thing of beauty for next season
Did you notice the panicked glances they exchanged with each other when he asked for data? I think Carlos noticed it and he was being very diplomatic and agreeable when he said he could wait for them to provide the data. It obviously wasn't something they were used to providing or they would have said "sure, here it is". Instead they began with saying that aspect of the diff couldn't be changed then they said they'd get back to him. I'm not seeing the optimism that other commenters are seeing in this video. I think Sainz mood is closer to shock than hope.
I mean what do you expect from a team that got 9. place in the constructors standing? I believe that the team will really take Carlos advice to heart and implement many changes. They probably weren’t used to drivers asking for data like Carlos does. I‘m expecting some improvement for the next season.

I love the raw and grounded style of this video! No fancy anything and it gives you that true behind the scenes of it all. You can really sense the seriousness of the team with this style. Let's go Williams!
Really is a reminder that these guys don’t just drive the cars. It’s easy to criticise them for not getting results on track but this just shows how much work goes in, even at a small team. Great stuff Williams!
Love how Williams keeps it simple-no flashy background music, just pure focus on the work. That sigh of relief from the engineer when Carlos says 'I’m happy' hits different, same vibe for sure.
Already looks like Carlos is at home! Love hearing all the details about how the car is, the different parts of data sets, even the seat fittings as well. Hopefully this leads to move up the grid!
Looks like Carlos is making a big difference to the team already. You can feel the positive vibes he brings to the garage. I hope that Carlos manages to bring good results.
Tech savvy Carlos is out favorite Carlos. Thank you so much for already making him happy and comfortable on his first day 💙 and thank you so much for all the content!!!

Dude Carlos looks so much more relaxed now. Let's hope with Williams amount of tunnel time they were able to put together a rocketship. It would be cool hearing Williams name fight for a title again.
Pleasantly surprised to hear all his contributions, sounds like the man for the job! Also I am quite surprised about his comment on Franco's setup, his engineer wasn't lying about him, hope he can get a seat soon!

F1 team marketing teams can take note of this video. Thank you so much Williams! You don't need a social media team making driver teammates do ping pong games and editing teams to produce the content. Give us the sound and the feel of F1 just like this in the garage and on the track.
Carlos super expierenced driver, ever team he went to in the last 7 years he has came into sync with his machine. It will be interisting to see how fast he will be able to get into the rhytm at Williams. I dont expect podiums but I know there is a couple of tracks on the calendar that that will suite the Williams car so will be great to see what Carlos can do at those tracks...Thank you Williams Racing for this upload needed some proper F1 stuff.
Lets go Williams. I'll be honest I supported Williams because they had the only American driver on the grid and while that may no longer be the case I am excited to see what Carlos can bring to the team as he is also one of my favorite drivers.

Watching from NZ, so, so, so hoping that this is the start of Williams' resurgence with Carlos "doing a Jenson / Brawn" and showing what is fans (and Williams) know ... that he is well and truly capable of taking the championship ... here's to a great season for Williams, their engineers, factory crews, and of course the CS and Alex 💞🥂🥂
That was Nice. Much appreciated. Thank you...and all the very best for the season: I think Carlos is a Great Fit for where the team are at Now, and have No Doubt, that there will be some great Highs this season! Congrats!

Thank you for the video. Loved it. Love seeing how detailed Carlos works, demanding when he should be but always respectful. Hope this partnership brings lots of success and joy! ❤🔥🌶💙
I love his confidence and how he can instantly tell where the car needs fine tuning and he only been in car once amazing
I love the raw and grounded style of this video! No fancy anything and it gives you that true behind the scenes of it all. You can really sense the seriousness of the team with this style. Let's go Williams!
I can’t wait! Smooth Operator!!! gonna be a great Williams season! 💙🌶️
It's rare to see a clip like this. Thank you so much Williams Racing. Let's go!!
💯
Really is a reminder that these guys don’t just drive the cars. It’s easy to criticise them for not getting results on track but this just shows how much work goes in, even at a small team. Great stuff Williams!
Carlos, future team principal, amazing how respectful and informative he was with relaying feedback on the car
Truly unforgettable footage !
Happy seeing Smooth operator in action!
Carlos and the Williams Racing 5️⃣5️⃣💙💪🏻
Love how Williams keeps it simple-no flashy background music, just pure focus on the work. That sigh of relief from the engineer when Carlos says 'I’m happy' hits different, same vibe for sure.
Williams I’m begging you - make this happy man even more happier🙏🏻
Carlos Sainz, Williams and whoever filmed, edited and had the idea, awesome!!
You guys totally understand what the fans want - no over the top editing, stupid music or unnecessary voiceover. Please keep it coming!
footages like these would be so valuable to look back on when williams finally get back on top. lets go team!
Thank you so much for already making him happy and comfortable on his first day 💙 and thank you so much for all the content!!!
if i could drive for any f1 team, itd be williams, theres just something about williams being humble yet not giving up on getting back to the top
Such a pleasure to watch a video for true F1 appreciators and really impressed with Carlos’s attitude and mindset.
I'm pretty confident enough that he will get you a good outcome which you are waiting for! Take care of him, Williams ❣
I absolutely love seeing this kind of content. The insight into detailed discussions, the raw feel of it without a music track, it reminds me a lot of the old McLaren Unbox’d videos - which I LOVED. Thank you for sharing more of his day one!!!
It's easy to forget how technical the collaboration is between the engineers and the driver. Thank you for the clean shots without background music or additional editing. It'd be great to see more like this.
Can already tell he’s going to be a great asset to the team. He comes with so much experience and seems so motivated to bring Williams back to the top. Come on team 💪💙
This is incredible. I would love to see more content like this! No music, amazing camera angles, really immerses you. I love to see Sainz's natural leadership just shine through here. Williams is SO lucky to have him. He can have a major impact on this team.
Vamos Carlos !!!! Todo nuestro apoyo desde Argentina.
oh i love this, this is EXACTLY the kind of video i wanted to see from the testing and filming days! love that the team got straight to work, and love carlos saying he’s happy - can’t wait to see how the season goes! vamos!! 💙
Vamos!!! 💙
Wish him all the best at Williams ...the calibre of driver that he is will hopefully make a big difference to the team...
Its so nice to hear the natural noises. I always imagined that were to loud and noisy, and it's a surprise that all seem to work quite silently. This kind of footage, like raw, without to much editing is SO SOOO nice and interesting. The true essence of the sport
Absolutely buzzing for Williams this coming season! James is building a serious team here! They deserve all the success 🎉
My hope is, Carlos and Williams messes up everybody else's hopes and dreams for 2025! How wonderful it would be to have them in the top four!
Ambitious!
@@CosmicSeeker69 Nothing wrong with ambition.
My boy George spent years trying to build this team back up and barely got anywhere, and people think this bum will magically “mess up everybody else’s hopes” 😭
@@un6250lil bro is seriously comparing rookie George on Claire Williams' team to prime Sainz in JV's Williams
George he had no experience he was a rookie how could he build a team😂 and they had no money now is different @@un6250
Let's go Williams, great behind the scenes! These are the best I've seen yet out of all the other teams.
Dude Carlos looks so much more relaxed now. Let's hope with Williams amount of tunnel time they were able to put together a rocketship. It would be cool hearing Williams name fight for a title again.
this is already so exciting, carlos and the team will do wonders
Pleasantly surprised to hear all his contributions, sounds like the man for the job! Also I am quite surprised about his comment on Franco's setup, his engineer wasn't lying about him, hope he can get a seat soon!
My 2 favorite drivers drive for my favorite team now. I can not wait for 25 season to start. Albono and Smooth Operator!!! 5:35 hearing the Williams team talking to Carlos gives me hope. They are hearing him bring new things to the setup and I am all for it!
Thanks for this insight Williams with no annoying, distracting music in the background. Love the camera angles on the car. Fantastic to hear the driver and engineers working together to fine tune the car. I am looking forward to the new season and I wish the Williams team, Carlos and Alex all the best for the 2025 season.
So cool to see real behind-the-scenes interaction between the team and driver! This is going to be a great pairing! Good luck next year to Carlos and the team.
we are all rooting for you Carlos your a great racing driver and if Williams works and everything is “ smooth” and the synchronicity is there could be such a joy to watch this play out …. fingers crossed for all
F1 team marketing teams can take note of this video.
I'm so happy he's happy and ready to go!! Go Williams!! 💙💙
Carlos has always been my favorite driver (class act) and Williams has been my team since I was young this combo is going to fantastic.
Lets go Williams. I'll be honest I supported Williams because they had the only American driver on the grid and while that may no longer be the case I am excited to see what Carlos can bring to the team as he is also one of my favorite drivers.
Absolutely LOVED this! Fantastic production, those camera angles on the car are unbelievably good! Good luck this year guys and gals 🏁
You can clearly see that Williams needed a very good and experienced driver, and this will 100% be reflected in the session.
Carlos, the Best.
like Fangio in mechanical mode, and Williams in Star Wars mode.
Congratulations.
Williams siempre en el corazón argentino.👍
🏁🇦🇷🏁
Carlos will undoubtedly take Williams to new heights with the enormous amount of experience that he brings to the team... just hope the team can keep up - amazing video 👏 👏 👏
Williams is back 🙇♀️🤌💙.. I wish williams a great year with Carlos and Alex..
Also thank you Franco 🇦🇷
I absolutely loved this! I was locked in the whole video! It's wonderful to hear the conversations between driver and engineers/mechanics. Carlos is so smart and I sincerely look forward to 2025. More content like this PLEASE!!
This is going to be epic, I cant wait 5️⃣5️⃣🌶️🔥, the best mechanics in F1 and Carlos instructions.... we gonna see the full potential of the FW46
Carlos Sainz 😍🌶️😎❤️💗💘
That was Nice. Much appreciated. Thank you...and all the very best for the season: I think Carlos is a Great Fit for where the team are at Now, and have No Doubt, that there will be some great Highs this season! Congrats!
What an awesome dude, cant wait to see him in blue next year, Vamos!
Carlos is the type of guy who gets along with everyone. A leader, a gentleman, leaves a lasting positive impact. Happy for him!
Carlos and Williams will be a great duo💙 Carlitos is a very intelligent pilot. With him they have the whole package. 🌶️🫶🏼
Who needs an F1 movie? That was a few minutes of pure heaven. The quality of the film work was superb. You really got a sense of being there with Carlos and the team engaging, listening and learning. This is going to be a hell of a ride and we are privileged to be part of it. Can you imagine if James, Alex, Carlos and this team pull it together and pull it off? I certainly wouldn’t bet against them. Can’t wait. Go Williams. Vamos Carlos.
i don't want to tell this. (because i am italian and there are Charles and the Sir), but i feel.. this year i will root for Carlos. it's a real champ, so unlucky to meet other great pilots in the same era, but is one of the best.
Love the mechanic looking at Carlos discussing technical details like a person in a foreign country hearing his own language in a crowd! Carlos' knowledge and clear communication is going to be worth gold!
Thank you for the video. Loved it.
Can you imagine the crew journey on that side of the garage;
- Logan Sergeant, not geting results and more crashes
- then Franco Colapinto, wow, the guy is getting results, then crashes
- now Carlos Sainz... Legend.
They've gone from holding the tough side of the garage to hanging out with Carlos.
It will be great to see Williams move up the field, I feel that Carlos is your man to achieve this.
¡Olé williams, Carlos y Roberto!
Carlos is quickly becoming my favorite drivers on the grid. I know Williams isn’t going to change much within a year but they can possibly make a comeback to the top over time
carlos is gonna take Williams to the top
What a fabulous video. Love the noise of the garage and that it's not covered in music over the top.
Este contenido nos amplia enormemente la experiencia de vivir la F1. Gracias Williams y a pesar de que ya no está Franco, muchos de sus fans los seguiremos con el gran Carlos y con el amigo Alex! Abrazos a todos y saludos al Tío James!
Thank you, Williams, for this unique opportunity to be invited in very authentic way into the garage where you do your magic. It is amazing to be able to see Carlos without media, working with you guys, sans the glamour and filter. Just you, him and the sport we all love.
Looking forward to seeing Alex and Carlos in action again. Best of luck in '25, Williams! 🚦💙🏁
Fantastic to hear the conversation between driver and engineer to appreciate the work behind all of this. Thanks Williams for not just being like the others.
Wow those onboards are fantastic!
I love the cool and calm edit here, comes very natural also without music. It feels like you are really there with the team, so I would say continue this style of videos in the future.
4:40 that camera angle is so good, we really need to see that in races
It will be interesting watching Williams next season. I’m still kinda new to F1 (hadn’t watched for quite a while before returning in past season), so Williams will be a great team for to give out my emotions to while watching future races.
