I loved to flip tulles back in the 1970s, 80s, 90s in the San Joaquin Delta. The art of Flipping was first introduced by three well known pioneers of the Ca. Delta; Dee Thomas was the first to master the technique and was a legend in the Ca. Delta. He won many local tournaments back in the 1970s. Then this technique was taught to two other well known anglers, Dave Gliebe and Gary Klein, who you may of heard of, he still fishes on the professional Bassmaster tour today. It's such a rush to feel a solid hit on a jig-n-frog in a thick shoreline cover of submerged trees and tulles!! Loved your video Jerry!!
@@vinceh8730 isn’t it awesome to see old school techniques still produce fish today? I wish I would’ve gotten more confident with this technique sooner, because I really enjoy it. Thanks for joining me! Tight lines! 🎣
@@MitchRyanComedy might’ve just been a good day for me! Don’t be afraid to flip into the tulies as the sun gets higher up, you’ll get on them. Tight lines 🎣
@@freethenips for colors, definitely stay more on the natural side, so green/brown/black but I’ve also seen purple and blue work really well with black. The remote is to control the trolling motor up front. Thanks for joining me on the water! Tight lines! 🎣
