  • My breakfast box for overnight oats!
As someone who struggles to make breakfast every morning, overnight oats are one of the easiest ways for me to get in a satisfying and delicious meal! I’ve tried many overnight oats recipes, but this is one of my favorites.
Overnight oats is typically made in a mason jar, but I often found it difficult to mix the ingredients together, especially when I used my small mason jar. Once I prepared my overnight oats in my snack box, I never looked back! Not only is it portable, but it’s also easier to mix and saves me time in the morning by allowing me to store toppings in the same container but separately from the oats. Snack container listed on my Amazon storefront
    Recipe:
    - 1/2 cup oats
    - 1/4 c plain Greek yogurt
    - 1 tbsp chia seeds
    - 3/4-1 tbsp maple syrup
    - 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
    - 1/2 cup almond milk (or whichever milk you prefer!)
    - Cinnamon
    Topping:
    - Diced apples
    - Chopped pecans
    - Drizzle of maple syrup

Unless you're making your own, oak milk contains seed oil, at least the ones I've seen and artificial vitamins. fat free yoghurt means they've striped all the good stuff, including the natural enzymes that help with digestion. and they again replace it with sugar which is what makes you fat in the first place. Might want to change up some of the ingredients, everything you eat should help with digestion...

Tried this recipe this morning because I've never had overnight oats before and it looked amazing. I tasted the mixing spoon before putting it in the fridge overnight and was looking forward to it so much... but nope, turns out I couldn't stomach the texture. 😂
Thought ok, maybe it's the chia seeds. So I made a bowl of it warm without the chia seeds, tasting as I went. Turns out.... I don't like greek yogurt in my warm oatmeal either 😂
But at least I have a recipe for really tasty warm oats now. I used pumpkin pie spice instead of cinnamon and it tastes like warm apple pie. So good.

    • @Vinito
      @Vinito Год назад

@@LulaMae21 morning, do you know that your body also can use fat at its source of energy? Also do you know that your body also can make its glucose indigenously? That's called gluconeogenesis. So there's no need for you to supplement your body with exogenous carbs aka sugar aka carbs. The amount of glucose in our system is less than a tea spoon at a given time. You always have days worth of glycogen stored in your muscles and liver. Carbs turn into glucose in our body and the glucose higher than the body's natural amount is damaging, so we'll either get rid of the excess by peeing it out or it'll rapidly turn into body fat. I don't see anything worthy in taking carbs or anything that'll mess up my natural blood glucose. My information might be lacking but I have an open mind to learn and accept new knowledge, I'd suggest you to be open minded and search about it. Look up Dr Anthony Chaffee and Dr Ken Berry you'll find many other knowledgeable individuals if you find them interesting. Also don't blindly trust dietitians/nutritionists or the advertised food guidelines.
