Acsites has three main reasons. Liver, kidneys or Heart. You have to carefully examine each organ to pin point, nd treat accordingly.

my labrador retreiver had a liter removed yesterday, and less than 24hrs later, he seems to have even more...
The vet said he was filled with "lymph fluid"
they gave us pain killers and anti inflammatory drugs, and Ive given him k9 CBD oil for the pain...
but a day later, he cant get up... even if i lift his rear, his front legs just give out... he's miserable...
Im counting down the hours until 7am to get him in to the vet to end his suffering...
    He's 13
    This is awful to watch
I cant even fcking lift him up so he can go pee outside
He deserves so much better than me. god dmanit

No hun, don't beat yourself up over that. It's not your fault and I'm sure you were the best parent you could be for your dog. It's natural to feel guilt because they are like our babies. 🐾🐾❤️

So sorry about your dog but it's not your fault. All we can do is try our best for them. It sounds like you really cared and loved your dog and I'm sure he felt that.

My question are what do we use as a catheter? And also where do delicately insert the catheter to help drain the fluid? This procedure is straightforward and helps Dog’s have less pressure in the abdominal and less pressure on the heart especially if a dog has a bornes heart defect. Thanks for your help.

My dog was barely about to be 2 years old and the vet decided to puncture his lungs then decide to drain fluid 😡. My dogs fluid was full of blood and he ended up not making it because he couldn't breathe. The vet was older and said he had never seen this in a dog. My dog was having trouble breathing but walked in the vet jusy fine and ended dying Monday. 😢
