      Thanks buddy, the install video should be out in the next couple of weeks 😎👍

    Awesome news. All my barrels are AC threads but I bought the AC to T15 adaptor. One of the adaptors are GTG but the other one wobbles.

      @TacticalMagfed  3 года назад +1

      Hi there buddy, it should also improve your efficiency\consitancy compared to the adaptor setup. It is pricey though 👍😎

    Would you be able to test it compared to the old one

    • @TacticalMagfed

      Hi there, if I can get access to somewhere with a chrono and air I might be able to do a comparison FPS test. It might take some time to organise though 👍

  • @nkofr
    @nkofr 3 года назад +2

    Thank you, very interesting. As it reduces barrel wobble, I am VERY curious to know if this increases the accuracy for long range shots with FSR??? I would love to see a test/comparison video!

    • @TacticalMagfed
      @TacticalMagfed  3 года назад +2

      Hi there, I've seen some German videos where they have compared the average FPS. The powertube definitely improves consistency. So on paper this should translate to more consistent accuracy with FSR. I agree that would make a great comparison video 😎👍

    • @nkofr
      @nkofr 3 года назад +1

      @@TacticalMagfed yes especially if the removal of the barrel wobble also helps for stability and accuracy. This is something I am considering before eventually buying it

    • @TacticalMagfed
      @TacticalMagfed  3 года назад +2

      That's a good point. As the bolt travels into the FS barrel it could cause it to wobble. The power tube would stop this if it was the case. They make no claims regarding the barrel wobble issue but the air efficiency and FPS consistency are their key USP.

    Listening to this while driving so not actually watching … heard you say first strike shaped loading hole… will it run round ball

    • @TacticalMagfed
      @TacticalMagfed  Год назад +2

      Hi there, yep the breach is a similar design to the T15 breach. It will shoot first strike rounds and round ball no problem. Hope that helps 😎👍

    Man it's a nice product but having to remove the power tube to replace detents not to mention cleaning the thing. If I chop something I remove the barrel, bolt and spring snd squeegee the mo'fo.

    • @TacticalMagfed
      @TacticalMagfed  2 года назад +2

      Yeah removing the detents is a pain. I remove the bolt too and squeegee all the way through!

      @@TacticalMagfed did a scenario this weekend saw nothing but EMF100's I felt so out gunned I may opt for the upgrade after all instead of dropping a $600 for a new Magfed set up.

    • @TacticalMagfed
      @TacticalMagfed  2 года назад +1

      @@Bert439 Yeah, this upgrade has taken my T15 as close as possible. The EMF100 is a beast though and with the low-pressure efficiency and regulator, it's technically superior out of the box and on the field in most scenarios. I hate to say it, but I may be looking to build an EMF100 setup next year. I hate the out-of-the-box looks though so I will be looking to install an air-through stock mod and an after-market body, the price tag is a huge negative though and may put me off!

    Have you been able to test the fps difference?

    • @TacticalMagfed
      @TacticalMagfed  Год назад +1

      Hi there, not "officially" but I have had to swap from the original FS powertube to this one during the same day (I was testing the MCs lockbolt). When I chrono'd again I was getting around 256-62FPS (down from 275-80FPS) so with everything else being the same the dynamics powertube needed to have the velocity screw tightened to get back to 280 FPS. Which is in line with the claim it is more efficient. It does feel more consistent between shots and I find I get an extra mag out of a 13ci tank. Hope that helps 😎👍

    Hi is the hook that holds the pin in place stronger as the stock barrel sleeve breaks far too easily as the hook is far to brittle ! I just realised that you replied and I deleted it by mistake sorry! I’ve broken 2 once when I got the gun and realised later you need to decock and again when I put the auto spring in nightmare!!
    Just thought at £120 it would definitely be stronger? I did ask the sellers in Germany but they said it’s same material which is not good so I didn’t purchase ! Anyone else any idea if it’s not strong enough? And yes the cap isn’t good enough as the pin should be strong or slightly longer and the cap not plastic ! Plenty of scope for a serious upgrade here!!!

    • @TacticalMagfed
      @TacticalMagfed  2 года назад +2

      Hi, I just compared both tubes using some basic micrometers and the dsg tube is slightly thicker at the hook end. Stock tube was 1.3mm and the dsg tube was 1.4mm. This may give a marginal level of strength over stock but not enough to say it would stop the hook failing. The main advantage is the reported increase in efficiency and moving away from the FS barrel system. Hope that helps 😎👍

    I'm interested in getting one of these but with a freak xl back and a 3 or 5inch lion claw barrel front, from your experience do you think that would be a decent setup?

    • @TacticalMagfed
      @TacticalMagfed  3 года назад +2

      Hi there buddy, adding a freak back will definitely improve efficiency and accuracy. You may want to check if the lion claw is compatible with the freak back. I think the first strike t15 freak back can be ordered with a thread for an A5 barrel tip, but generally they have a specific thread that the lion claw won't be compatible with. I would check with the store that the freak back and barrel combination is compatible. Hope that helps 😎👍

    Wanted to ask how you deal with the detents and making sure they don’t get ruined.

    • @TacticalMagfed
      @TacticalMagfed  3 года назад +2

      Hi there, do you mean in general or when installing the power tube? I didn't have any issues during the install. I used to remove the barrel to stop the detents flattening out, but now I remove the bolt which does the same thing.

    • @silence-dl9ru
      @silence-dl9ru 3 года назад +1

      @@silence-dl9ru no problem buddy, glad I could help. I keep the bolt in a zip lock bag and grease it too.
