Thanks for this trick! My k123 arrived from banggood with one failure servo. After a lot of months of testings, calibration, mechanical adjust on the plate... finally was just to clean one servo! I already ordered 3 servos but the trick worked like a charm in the meanwhile I am waiting the parcel
Mine is doing this Right out of the box. Shouldn't have to wrench on a brand new helli. It's going back. This a great video for future flying though. Thank you!
Nice idea to be able to keep flying. Don't forget that this is a temporary fix. Vibrations of model while operating will probably suppress the preload quite fast. Most of time those twitches are produced by carbon powder from the potentiometer track wear out. I once opened a servo potentiometer case and blow that dust. This was from the time where standard servos were 4x2x2cm. At least you can old them with 2 fingers ;)
You are right Philippe. I did this the second time now. After about 70 flights and a little harder crash all three servos started twitching. I did this repair the on all three servos and it was good for another 70 - 100 flights. Now just one servo started twitching. I will see. Maybe I should add a little CA glue between those two plastic parts before putting them together to prevent them from suppressing the preload ...
I also happened to get a twitchy servo after a while... Front servo... Twice on two xk 110...I didn't know how to put gears back in place until i saw the pictures of it here...put it back in place, added small amount of light lube called 'super lube'.. and works like a charm.... No more servo twitching... Awesome.. thank you for sharing this... Update, After 3 years of flying my Heli.... ok so i know that will get the small servo working again... however in order to prevent this from happening in the first place, is best to have a degree of movement on the servo not to the edge of movement range, not too far to one side and not to far on the other. That way the servo wont work as hard. I have done this and my servos now lasts much, much longer.. I don't replace them as often. When the servo does finally starts twitching, then instead of fixing the servo. I now just put in a new servo in, because eventually it will start twitching again and again, so is cheaper to replace a servo that it is to replace another broken parts. Again the most likely reason your servo will start twitching is likely because of your degree of motion on the servo is too much to one side or the other. Try adjusting your servo range of motion so that is not to the edges, will be the best solution and that will make your servo last much longer..
J’ai le même problème sur un k 110( s )penser vous que je pourez fair moi même je suis debutant Faut il règle la swash plate avec le pas à 0 à mi manche de gaz une fois tout remonter ?
My front servo just burned up and doesn’t move anymore, I never worked on a rc helicopter so this is a real bummer. Do I have to program or tune the new servo when I get it? or is it ready to go after being installed?
All you need to do when installing a new servo is: 1. connect the servo connector to the flight controller 2. turn on the radio and helicopter 3. when the helicopter is on a level surface you install the servo arm on to the new servo in a way that is aligned with the servo arms of the other two servos - that means that the swashplate is horizontal when the helicopter stands on a level surface. That's all.
Hi Igor, I don't know which servos are a good replacement as I've never searched for them. My servos still work but I don't fly with this heli a lot. Maybe you should ask at the RC Groups forum for the answer.
some k110's have the awesome faster red top motor, but i read that some still come with the inferior all black motor, seems to be luck of the draw. (just kidding about the red top one being better... it is though!)
I broke mine in a crash. I changed the broken part of the carbon boom (except the last 25 mm which is still original). I now have the two tail motor wires going back on the outside of the boom to keep eventual future repairing process more simple.

Mate this is brilliant... exactly what i needed to see.
a had that same problem but a fix the servo by just removing the servo horn and the turning it on with out the servo horn
Thank you so much, it's working perfectly now !
Thanks , I have learnt this trick ..although I have not needed it so 😊.
i have a V911s , after a crash now when i connect the battery the front servo starts buzzing automatically ..and wont stop that noise.
Спасибо за инструкцию, стало лучше, но все равно дёргается немного около 0. Вертолет новый. Глубже там внутри сервы ничего нельзя полечить?
I would repeat the repair process and if the problem still persists you have to change the servo.
One of the servo on the right side of my XK K110 goes up too far and faster than the left servo, how to fix it?
Thanks!

@@AndrejSturm hey thanks man I really appreciate your help 👍👏 this sounds like an easy fix
Nice fix 👍
Не подскажете качественную и недорогую замену сервам на к110? Я уже второй перебрал... Пишут, неплохие hk 5330, но их нет в наличии.

What other servos will fit in the heli besides the stock ones? do you know what size the servos are??
I don't know. I think that the stock servos are good enough, so I have never looked for any other servos. I still fly with the original servos.
is the motor from the xk120 and if yes did you use the xk110 esc with that motor thanks
The motor is original.

I have one , when i throttel up cant fly ? How i make it fly please
Motor is spins

Hello and what have you done with your tail boom? Mine is broken, waiting for a new one...

@@AndrejSturm i found a metal twig that fits, but not shure how will it affect the weight balance of the heli..
@@ВиталийДем-в8й It will be to heavy. But you can try while waiting for the new one.
Ooooôohhh ! Great job! Thanks ! Ooh yeah !
Good video
Thanks.
