I think a lot of people don’t realize the true cost to install an LSA blower. All of that stuff adds up. I have an LSA project in the works and it literally adds about $2-3k to the build. Thanks for the price breakdown. But I didn’t see a lid on the list but the price range is definitely accurate. Nice build.
I own a 2003 Tahoe and a2003 suburban, I would love to make one of them a sleeper. Very grin addicting to watch this thing come alive and scream like a banshee.😁👍
great video..... Honestly I would never recommend the LSA conversion to someone unless they had a decent chunk of mechanical,wiring and plumbing skills. When everything is said and done it would probably be cheaper and easier to just buy a maggie kit and set it and forget it. I found a smoking deal on the complete blower/lid,dod delete/cam,fuel pump,heat exchanger ,pump,hoses and wiring and when it was all said and done I still probably had 7K++ into my g8 swap after you upgrade to id850's,kooks headers, better valve springs, rotofab intake and about 100 other little things i have forgotten about......Fun project and the LSA works and makes a ton of hp but these deals just don't go on. I spent countless days/nights sitting on a stool drinking beer staring at the car trying to figure out how I wanted to run everything. I went way over budget and it took 3x longer than expected....hahaha
I'm waiting for you to do a video on the tahoe just driving around....maybe a couple if hits....30 -60 rolls......maibe a Speedo cam...just to see how it accelerates...ill be waiting...lol
How did you get the GM core?? also about what was the cost of the rebuild aka the new pulley?? and did it come with a lid?? Shit I ask a lot of questions.
It was Damaged and Replaced with a new one. They are hard to find. The pulley setup is $175 for the blower It did not come with a lid. I had to borrow one.. lol

What do you feel about a 4k mile complete lsa with a TR 6060 outta a 14 cts v with the harness and ecu for 11k? Was a bio hazard car so mileage is proven. That comes with a clutch and exhaust mani and accessories and everything I need for it to run. Including ac. ???

Your core you said was just the blower minus the snout and lid, is that right? How was the core, were the rotors good or not much wear? I know you can buy a ctsv or zl1 lid. Kinda going back and forth with doing the lsa or a turbo build for my c10.

The rotors had a little bit of wear on them, but not terrible. And the core was just the blower rotors and case, no lid or snout
