Is the Pentel multi 8 slightly light fast? I've used colored mechanical pencils before and they faded so much faster than even more economical traditional colored pencils. I really like the convenience and versatility of this product but if it's going to disappear with mild light exposure than I might have to pass.
Finding this channel is the worst thing that's ever happened to me. I don't have the self control to resist buying things like this T-T
Hehe
I must say, you got me in the first half
@@user-ml2lk3sg5ifrfr
Literally though - my wallet cries while my stationery addiction smiles 😅
Literally same
The overengineered mechanical pencils look sleek. They look like they've got an amazing feel to them as well.
They really do !
I am at the age where I had to learn how to write both cursive and block letters, and I did write quit much.
I had a period of my life when I had lots of time but no money, so I decided to write a short story/novel.
It turnes out having a really good pen increases your productivity a lot, I started with whatever I had at home, and then gradually worked my way trough a lot of pens until I found the one I loved
This has to be one of my favorite series! I love tools woth multiple uses. It saves a lot of space when im packing light.
Multi 8 looks awesome.
As a long time user I can confirm, it is!
I JUST bought the Pentel Multi-8 and I love it! It takes some getting used to in terms of switching from one color to the next. I’ve always been a Pentel fan and a fan of well-built and sturdy writing instruments for a long time. So glad that I found this channel!
The BIGGEST problem with ultra nice pencils/pens is eventually, you lose them. PERIOD. ESPECIALLY if you actually use/carry them. Speaking as someone who's owned a few of these super nice Japanese pen/pencils. So it's back to those cheap "good enough" one dozen for $2.99 pens/pencils. The truth is, I don't feel anything when I lose those cheap pens but it 'hurts' when I lose my nice Japanese pencils/pens.
Or someone “borrow” them
I've never lost any of my expensive pen-/cils before. They usually have a dedicated pocket where I put them the moment I stop using them (tbf I only carry 2, 1 mechanical pencil and a pen). Every time I go through a door, leave public transport, change clothes etc. I pat myself down to check if everything's where it is supposed to be. A habit I got into after I got my phone stolen once.
That Multi 8 is amazing!
Not just because it holds 8 refills, but because it's actually *tapered* !
I hate thick pen grips, so I always avoid multi pens with more than 3 colours, but that one tapers enough that I might actually be able to handle using it (no pun intended)
Ah, the Multi 8! I bought one back in 2015 to use for color coding in my planner - it was so useful on thin Filofax paper that really didn't handle highlighters well (and it let me carry just one pencil instead of a ton of different colors).
I now usually use a custom multi pen in my planner instead, but the Multi 8 also works great for a compact, on the go sketching kit!
I do wish there was a nicer looking option though, ngl. Maybe something with a nice metal body...
idk why I watch this channel, I hate writing, and prefer typing, yet I still watch this
That Dr. Grip model looks perfect for my husband. He has nerve damage in his hands and is increasingly having trouble with gripping pens and pencils. Having it be adjustable like that might be just the thing.
Hi there! We link everything in the description. www.jetpens.com/Mechanical-Pencils/ct/45
I love this series!! thank you for showing us more! :D
Looks like a Therapy session ❤ from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Love this over engineered series
The Pentel multi 8 will be at my drafting/design desk soon!!!!
The uni shift pipe lock was by fast the most incredible.
I love the Multi Tool pencil, it's super convenient. 😯
Okay so the Multi 8 is going on my wish list RIGHT AWAY.
Seeing "5 left" was the trigger that pushed my purchase!
Think again whether you really need 8 leads. It is going to be fun in the beginning, but you'll get bored of it soon!
@@user-fg6ro I work in a classroom, draw diagrams, grade papers.... yes, I already knew I needed one. No, I don't get bored with writing tools. Never have.
@@penelopefp Thanks for your comment. Btw my reply was meant for the main comment (Kobayashi).
@@user-fg6rosorry, I thought is was directed at everyone in the comments. 🤣
I bought a few 4 and 1 uniball jetstream from jetpens. I use them all the time for my work (drafting/architecture). They work great. Now that I see that multi lead pencil...I want one!
im in love with this video....i just use mechanical pencils, it is so glorious to write with them and make details
Bloody awesome stuff 👏
I always liked the old 4 color ball point pens, so I like Pentel Multi 8 Lead and its ball point variant.
The multi tool one is crazy man!
Hee-Yes, more engineering and beautiful writing instruments.
God bless.
I’ll take one of each please. The pencil that impressed me most was tool one and how they managed to fit so much in one pencil. And while several look interesting I’m fond of Pilot’s shaker so that’s the one I’m most likely to buy.
I need that multi pencil in my life! 😍
Oh boy I love this
I love Pentel!!
The screwdriver pencil was really cool
I want them ALL😂😂😂
Yes, to all!
Really all very nice >>>>>>> Thank you .
Beautiful machines
Oh, NICE!
I love this so much 😳🥹😍✨
Great! Mechanical pencil lovers' treasure.
I mean, I already have a favourite mechanical pencil but watching these makes me wonder if I could improve on it!
Awesome ❤
Pentel Multi 8 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Platinum pro use seems the most practical one
Never seen such a video's in my entire life 😮
I am really into buying a Multi8 both pencil and ink versions but what bugs me is how much replacements to buy for a long haul as the brand usually abandon old projects...cannot find parts for my Shaker.
I would love the multi 8 in pencil and pen also the ruler pencil is amazing!
Yes Jetpens I love you so much stationery lover forever
I don't need these but I need these
Multi 8 is my life❤
2:10 Mechanical Pencil with screw driver, to fix the screw on a sharpener for wooden pencils.
Damn, I just watched the 1st and 2nd video yesterday and *bam* more things for me to buy
2:39 oh my heart 💚
I like my Pentel orenz pencil. :) I have two in 0.2
oh man time to put in a order
The problem with the knurled grip on the Uni Shift drafting pencil is that your middle finger gets an imprint of a graph paper after you held the pencil for a while....😉
Is the Pentel multi 8 slightly light fast? I've used colored mechanical pencils before and they faded so much faster than even more economical traditional colored pencils. I really like the convenience and versatility of this product but if it's going to disappear with mild light exposure than I might have to pass.
Todos são incríveis! 🤩
I wonder if in the super multi 8 lead holder you could do multiple density leads for sketching? I would have one with the other colors and one with the different leads. Then a multi pen with fine tipped water proof black, red, brown, blue and possibly a white gel pen.
The yellow one took my breath away
Ooo it's ✏
3:25 nice pencil!
1:00 the hauser auto gear also does that
Multi Tool is the best!
Not to be pedantic, but what the MonteVerde has is a scale ruler. It is used to measure and draw scaled drafts.
Plus , they don't mention how to advance the lead on this pencil, but it looks to be a twisting mechanism.
I want it all! ❤ You can make a link that have all of the products in the video in one cart? 🛒
I don’t see in ur shop ohto non-hoc, it’s very interesting pencil.
I recently had to buy some math instruments. Ever consider doing a video on math instruments like protractors?
Noooooo don’t yeet Nathan 😭😭😭
Craziest Pen/Pencil I've ever seen was Angle Sensitive: The way you held the pen determined what color ink or Pencil Lead it would dispense. Rotate the Pencil/Pen a little and click the back to get a different tip.
What is the name of pencil shown in intro round nib please tell
JetPens, seeing the Multi 8 with 2mm leads has reminded me. I'm looking for 2mm colored lead for my mechanical compass. Does this exist?
Hi there! We carry colored 2mm lead here: www.jetpens.com/2-mm-Lead/ct/530?&f=998b94b20715d63d
Unfortunately we do not carry any compasses that fit 2 mm lead, so we cannot test if these leads will fit easily into your compass; you may have to manually shorten the lead before inserting.
What is the part #s for the Multi 8 INK inserts?
Pentel multi 8 looks really nice.
Maybe I'm out of touch but what kind of ruler is that at 05:56?
It's a Midori Multi Ruler! www.jetpens.com/Midori-Multi-Rulers-Standard/ct/1911
Im sorry but the Multi 8 is just genius if youre using copy machines often. Its already cool have 6 colors that arnt ink-based pens, but 2 of them being able to write without showing up on copy machines sounds great. Seems like the first thing thatll get used-up by the multi 8
I like these features but I wish the pens were a lot thinner
Idk, Troika Construction pen is better in my opinion, it has a tone of colours and body materials, and also features a level, so it's real multi-tool out of all
I'll just look at them or only use them at home cause if you bring it outside and loose them you'll cry cost the pencil isn't cheap. Not to mention people borrowing pencil and not returning back to the owner which happens most the time.
The multi 8 would be so useful, then I wouldn’t have to bring a whole pencil case to school.🎉
Interesting
MOre stuff folks just don't need... lol.. what a world!
I'm pretty sure those first two pencils have my name on them.
Do you ship to South Africa??
My Tul mechanical pencil from Office Depot works just fine.
💙
The Pentel 8 is more like a crayon than a pencil
Please make a pen, pencil and permanent mark 3-in-1.
Hello
i am buying a pentel graphgear 1000 but i dont know what size i should get, i am thinking 0.5 because everyone is buying that one
what do you think between .3 .5 .7 .9?
0.5 definitely
@@mysterionz thanks
Eu não gostei da unishift da pilot. O sistema dela se muito usado trava. 😢
Hi I'm pretty old born in 1967 I have a German mechanical pencil that I have had since grade school it automatically advances its lead I am pretty sure it's in my old desk if I remember right it uses very skinny lead it is a very slim mechanical pencil too
Uni Shift!
I need JetPens to expand to Europe so that I can spend all of my money on overengineered office supplies without having to deal with customs
can we buy intrnationaly
😊😊
can somebody explain what is "UNI" ? branding
in my country there are Pen which have UNI label and its more premium than other brand
Uni Mitsubishi (yes, the car people) they're a great brand for stationary (I don't know enough about cars to comment on their automotive brand)
Pentel multi.
same pen cost 20 cents in local market in india and us there for alot of years😂😂😅
NATARAJ pancil is the best one WHICH
WE USE IN INDIA 😄😄😄😄🌟🌟🌟
Ok, I *NEED* to see more of the Pentel Multi 8…and in pen form?!
*sigh* *opens wallet*
Part 1 and 2?😊
I saw a crayon shin chan one i just dont know the name of it tho sadly
I was a pencil stealing mfer back in jr high. Never got one of those beauties.
The material that comes out of a pencil is graphite not lead.
