Unlocked my memory of the pens that had multiple colors in one pen.

I had one back in the 80s. I loved it but the 'lead' refills were kinda pricey. There was no 'variety' pack, so you had to buy individual packs of each color to refill. Fortunately, I worked at a stationery shop while I was in college. I may still have it somewhere, but I stopped being able to find lead for it. I thought it was discontinued.

For your Pen & Paper RPG game on the other channel.
How about Pilot Frixion Erasable Pens. They come in many colors & tip sizes.
They're very cheap. They also have erasable markers & Highlighters as well if you really want them.
They're Thermo-Sensitive ink that are pretty awesome and popular

Most people use them for Bible stuff ( underlining and such) and Urban sketching quick coloring in regular paper journals. They’re the same as wax coloring pencils and smooth as a baby’s bottom in most journals … they even blend.

Always have to remind my principals to use black ink because they both love the perfect shade of blue that my machine can’t scan/copy.

Sorry for blowing up your comments. Don’t think this would be a good option for adult coloring books?

You should try Copic Sketch markers. They're refillable. The Winsor & Newton ones are pretty great too.
Edit: I recommend Canson XL marker paper if you're going to try these. They're alcohol based and bleed through most papers, but they're 'art markers' for sure.
