I didn't think BMW's had turn signals... Maybe setting that bind could break the car entirely.. XD Great video, I've been using the Deck for years for Sim stuff. One thing to point out for those who don't have a Stream Deck and don't want to spend the $, Stream Deck Mobile is now free with 6 buttons. So you can use your phone the same way (or maybe an old Android phone laying around..) for free. If you pay for the mobile version, you can even use a tablet now... Insane amount of buttons then! :)
I couldn't live without my 2 stream deck's one is set up for thing's like the black box, fuel, seat adjustment and the other is for OBS, sound and Mic levels. I even have it to turn on things like Fanatec lab, iracing, SIM hub, web cam, etc
Random it's another great and informative video! Could you maybe post a video on a somple button box we can make at home. Just incase the stream deck is too complicated for some or out of their budget? See you on the track!
the streamdeck at the end is just a fancy programable keyboard. the simplest "button box" is just an external number pad. It can even be bluetooth if you want to get really fancy...
Make sure you swap out the pit limiter alt keybind in game. I had multiple times when I went to act turn off turn signal it deactivated my pit limiter then got a drive through 🤦♂️
i had to add in the "{{s}}" for short press macro in the super macro script, and then it worked for me, everything else from the video look sthe same in my window@@_Rydiggs
I got a StreamDeck XL around 2 years specifically for simracing. I thought it'd be the best button box ever. I planned on having a custom button panel for every single car for every game so that I know exactly what buttons/functions/features that car is capable of. Honestly, when you're in the heat of the moment, the Stream Deck SUCKS. There's no feel. Even if you look at it's screen and then look back at your monitor right before you press the button, you still might press the wrong button...and it becomes even worse with gloves on...and even worse if you have to move fast because of intense situations or don't have too much time (short straightaway)...and even worse if you use motion. It's one of those things that's AMAZING "on paper" but in the real world, at least for me, isn't great. No feel at all. I didn't understand until I got a button box and Stream Deck (got them both at the same time) why it's so important for button boxes to have all sorts of different shape & size buttons and all with such physical feel to them and, not to mention, usually spaced out quite a bit from one another - it's so that you can intuitively feel all the buttons and know exactly where you are and what you're pressing. Even if you have to glance at your button box for just a quick second and then look back at your monitor before actually moving your hand to the button box, you end up almost never missing the button. If you do slightly miss, you know exactly where you are right away because of all the feelings with the different types of buttons, spaces, etc. I'm shocked that, with modern LCD/OLED technology, nobody has created a wheel, or especially a button box (probably easier than a wheel), with a tiny 1 or 2 line display under every button where you can edit the text with whatever you want ("turbo-boost +", "anti-roll bar -", "next timing menu", etc.). Really blows my mind. It's 2023 and companies only recently released basic lights on wheels. Having said all that, I still use the Stream Deck because it can do so many things, so quickly like starting games, opening text files, switching between speaker and headphone audio, chaning Windows power plans, viewing the time, etc. I'm trying to get Next Level Racing and Simucube to make a plugin for the StreamDeck so we can edit/change the NLR Motion Platform v3's and the Simucube 2's settings/profiles from there.
Sorry for my late response, do you have any idea how to show the data on your streamdeck like gear, rpm, temp etc etc. just like the flightsimulater ( alt, speed, heading etc)
Useful video? Subscribe to the channel!

This BMW had it's blinker fluid topped off. 😂
I use the deck to manage my pit strategies, only fuel, only tires, only damage repair and any combinations of those...
BMW Driver : Maps turn indicators to something else.
Why do you recommend the indicators to BMW drivers in ACC, should we always indicate in advance which direction we will overtake you? :P

Im here to say that Mirasoft has updated the Stream Dock app and now supports long press function, just doesnt stop until you press it again ;)

it does ignition but not starter for me. im trying it for iracing. any ideas????
it does ignition but not starter for mee, pretty sure i did everything in the video
same for me im trying it for iracing, did you end up figuring it out?

Super Macro seems cool, but the more you automate it, the more I think you should just turn those things to "automatic" in-game.
Automatic car start creates a bunch of in pits issues
Presumably, you could use voice recognition software e.g. Voice Attack and do all the same things, but a lot cheaper?
Very useful! Thank you! 🙌
Very interesting!
Is it possible that the button flickers when you press it to remind you you got it activated?
With hotkeys or multi functions sadly not
NEEDED This

where are you from?
We need something like this for PlayStation
You could also use macro deck and then you don't have to buy a stream deck

just like the flightsimulater ( alt, speed, heading etc)
No
I use one, its amazing
stream deck pro for the win!
super useful, thanks. too bad I can't subscribe twice...
