Oh my goodness... I just wrote almost the identical comment. I think it showed that Johnny knows he's won this, at least as far as public opinion goes and that's really more important than anything. No matter what happens with the jury.
BUT if the jury doesn't do the right thing by him they're going to be embarrassed when they find out all that they didn't know.

Alysia is right. You only have to scroll through the comments section (on this and almost every other video related to the case) to see that the vast majority of the public believe Depp.
The outcome of the case is important, but in a case like this (where public opinion was used as a weapon to destroy Depp's career), the shift in public opinion alone is a win for Depp.

NO woman violated with a broken bottle decides NOT to seek emergency medical help. “Because of my great love for Johnny….” What. You decided to NOT make sure there were no glass shards embedded inside you? You preferred the possibility of bleeding out? You didn’t think it was as important to get stitches? Or is it that your great love was more important than the probablility of the internal lacerations becoming infected?

She has ZERO medical records for any of her accusations. She herself on the stand mentioned her BRUISE KIT (look it up. All actors have access to these for make up, to create fake cuts and bruises). She slipped up. Quickly changed the name. Doctors said that there was no swelling, and that when a person is hit in the face, swelling is the first sign, and the last to leave. She had none as it was make up, not real. She had no medical reports, because any real doctor would report that nothing happened.

I cannot imagine having to go through everything he has experienced and then having to relive it on live television. I have so much respect for him, and I hope that when this is finally over that he can find some sort of peace and happiness.

Anyone with eyes and ears can see the pain in his face and hear the pain in his voice. A long and horrific 6 year nightmare for Johnny. I sincerely hope he recovers and heals from this horrific ordeal. Continue to be strong JD and move on. After this, you can conquer anything!

He has not denied his adfictions, and sought treatment for it. Is there a need to be "snarky", about it. Yes, substances can affect the brain, including Wernicke's encephalopathy, Korsakoff's, memory problems, speech aphasia, whether receptive or expressive...so what is your point? And he is in his 50's being asked to recall exact events that had taken place 7years ago. He pauses to think about phrasing his answer before speaking, as he has for 3 decades or so.
Lets not forget, AH, also was using alcohol, MDMA, Cocaine, mushrooms, ecstacy...would that not also affect her recall and muliple lies, sorry, "incorrect characterizations" and improper use of the English language...like using pledge and donate as synonyms?

@@markuspritsch7551 The system of England and Wales (Scotland is different) is the one that the US system inherited. Innocent until proven Guilty still exists in theory but cultural factors (imported from the US) are undermining the traditional values.

I never thought I'd have such sympathy for a famous celebrity as I do for Johnny Depp. Throughout this trial, and through some other articles / videos I felt compelled to look at myself, there's no way he would treat any woman in the manner he's being accused of. In fact, he's truly a wonderfully decent human being, so much so that he willingly stayed in a relationship that was extremely abusive until he just couldn't anymore. His female fans were right all along, they sensed this man was not only handsome but possessed a profound kindness and compassion. Opposites do attract, Johnny found his darkest, souless lover, thankfully it's over and he can begin again.
Johnny needs to have his life & career restored. Amber’s false allegations against him have negatively impacted his life for too long. Amber needs to pay him 300 million and a million alpacas.

Johnny seems different now then the beginning of the trial in a good way. He no longer seems as nervous but rather confident and glowing. So happy for him even if the outcome doesn't go his way things are turning around for him 🙏

Thanks for pointing that out. He feels the love and support from all the fans, collegues, experts, attorneys, his exes, and his family. He can really see it unfold that he was not the bad guy. He's had angry moments but nothing that AH alleges. Johnny seems like the type of guy that will trys to protect even if he takes the fall. I hope he get's justice and move forward with his career.

I have listened again to Johnny's account of meeting Ambers family and how he loved both Paige and Whitney and respected the father. He thought he had joined a loving family. It was such an honest account of his feelings. So very sad that it became a nightmare

He loved who he thought she was but that woman never existed. That realization for him was very important at the time (according to the recording). He was in love with a woman who did not exist, who was not real. That is a realization that so many who have been with abusers end up being faced with.
Now that he understands that and he also understands why he was drawn to her in the first place, and why he stayed with her for so long, that it had to do with repeating the unconscious pattern of his childhood with an abusive mother.....and all the instability that went with it... now that he has this knowledge and more, he can set up proper boundaries for himself, he can heal, he can hopefully forgive himself for allowing an abuser.. not only into his own life... but into the lives of his family and those he holds most dear.
Now when he goes to a special place like the Hicksville Trailer Palace he can enjoy it and be at peace sitting around the campfire, playing guitar with a good hearted stranger, staying in a trailer from the 1950"s.... without being embarrassed because of the disrespectful antics of the person he is with.
He can be himself without having to go from being curious and outgoing to withdrawn, shaken and ashamed.
It is a hard road and I hope he continues therapy. I wish him the best going forward.

The one thing thats got me into this so hard is that im a huge Harry Potter fan, and when they cast Depp as Grindelwald I freaked out bc he's perfect, he killed it, it was a perfect role coming off of all the Pirates movies which are good but im not a die hard. When i saw his performance i was blown away as usual. So when i heard that he was out........i lost it. I really hope that they bring him back into the Harry Potter world and its looking better and better each day of this trial
Me too, and I remember all the HP fans were so quick to want him out of Fantastic Beasts before any evidence was even out… but that was at the height of Me Too and so many famous people were getting reported that we as a society just added him to the list! We have to remember that anyone can say anything about anyone but that doesn’t mean it’s true.

Watching Johnny have to call someone he was involved with "a liar" in order to protect himself, his family, and the rest of his life looks difficult for him. My empathy is off the charts with soothing thoughts for what must have been a very, very hard day.
