Will, this is the first final product Gandalf review I see. Absolutely fantastic, my friend.
Just a minor tip: you could work a little the beard. Its too spread. Then, you could put the hair over the shoulders, not behind it.

I will def give this a go! Thanks bro! It's interesting to me people feel this way because when I look at the film, the beard looks pretty spread. I'll study more! Gandalf the white has a thinner/shorter beard, but Grey looks spread. Let me run some tests!
The beard and hair need a bit of water on a paint brush to tidy it up. Outside of that this is the best 1/6 released in hand

I love when they put some very good detail in a box for six scale they look so good you don't want to store them you want to put it on display and that one is very well designed I like how they packaged the item very high-end like an Ironman

It definitely looks like the hair/beard will need a little work out of the box. And I’m a little disappointed we didn’t get the felt looking hat we saw on the prototype at Vegas. Other than that this looks like a big win! Looking forward to getting mine in and comparing it to the Asmus Gandalf! I just bought the upgraded sculpt from Asmus, really excited to compare the two side by side!

My main concern for a figure being over 500 dollars is that hat and beard. I thought this was Santa Claus for a second 😅 I had to do a little work on my inart joker but in my opinion I’m more than satisfied with my asmus Gandalf like with the replacement hat that figure still holds up. Can’t argue with that face sculpt but I was hoping to be blown away with this figure but I’m sure it will still look great in people’s collections

When it comes to younger head sculpts sometimes it's a swing-and-a-miss but when it comes to older individuals some people can go top tier with them

Amazing looking figure. Aragorn looks great too. Wish I had the money and space to collect LotR figures but I need to stick to just Star Wars/DC/Marvel.

Great review thanks for getting it out so quickly! I didn’t get this but have preordered Aragorn so watching inart with interest! My only observation is the beard just goes too wide for me otherwise they delivered a classic representation of Gandalf figure

I’m really excited to get this in hand. Will Inart complete the Fellowship? I’m thankful the pain to my wallet is low at this point, but will they release the Hobbits as two-packs? We’ll need a Boromir for more memes…it’s doable for me if they limit it to a couple figures a year. Nice review, Will!

There seems to be something off with the shape or size of the face. He looks a little too chubby. I just recently received the Asmus upgraded headsculpt for their Gandalf the Grey and besides not having the adjustable eyes I actually prefer it to this version. It has some of the same accessories like the book with the same attention to detail. I'm sure this is a very good figure but I do not $480 good imo.

I've only been collected 1/6 characters that have face sculpts for about a year... to me it seems like a huge miss for them not to have the sculpt be Gandalf smiling or better yet mid-yell from his most iconic line. To me that would make the presence an 11/10 and a must buy, and as such, I find his expression here to be like a 7 or 8 in presence... Across the 1/6 market the neutral facial expressions seem to be par for the course so maybe I'm still in need of calibrating expectations. I'm curious what you think in regards to this or if you have done a video on 1/6 headsculpts with emotive faces.
Something I have noticed in the different reviews I have seen is that the mustache is inconsistent depending on what figures, in the bigbreda one it looks perfect, I saw the review on an Asian channel and the mustache was very strange... like it was poorly cut, I understand that It may be a manual job, but we all pay the same price, it shouldn't be like that.
I call this "Just woke up" Gandalf.

Congrats Will on creating a really nice and comprehensive review!!! Atm you are one of my favorite channels to watch.
I really liked your voiceover, camera angles, detailed shots of accessories, lighting, and overall presentation of the product. However the sounds effects were a bit too loud and your lovely voice was a bit hard to hear in relation to sound effects. I’d increase your voice volume in post by like 15-20%.
But other than that the review was enjoyable and adding the scoring board is a neat idea! I feel like your graphic design sense is very much on point in terms of fonts and presentation. Please keep on going)

I love the sculpt. But the beard just doesn't do it for me. for that price I'm going to need it to be just as top notch as everything else on the figure.

You know why you can't do the hat justice? because you are "putting it wrong" and the hat like you said is wired, so you need to make it curve a but and straight up towards the end, go and watch lotr pls. And put some water on Gandalf's beard and hair, because yours is like Gandalf has not showered in a millenium. SMH
