    Hello, what gauge and tension do you recommend for pure aero 100 2021 with this tour bite soft?

  • @rendyonline

    Our rackets were accidentally strung with regular Tour Bite as opposed to the Soft version which we usually use and somehow I felt there was more spin from there regular. Has anyone noticed this?

    • @robertgarcia2266
      @robertgarcia2266 6 дней назад +1

      Because there is more spin with the regular, it just a little more boardy. I just drop the tension and it feels a tad better. Tour bite 1.30 is actually softer too then 16L. I hear 17 gauge is the best , just dies fast, haven't tried it. But all the regulars create more spin because they're stiffer and you can hit harder. Soft also has softer edge that wear faster so reg will always have better spin especially 1.20G

    • @robertgarcia2266
      @robertgarcia2266 6 дней назад

      16L in soft and reg is to stiff, its like it made somewhere else.

    Great video! How does it play at the end of the string life? Does it become uncomfortable and the power decreases?

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  Год назад +1

      Thanks! I think it’s more of a mushy, bouncy, less spin and harder to control. Not dead and uncomfortable.

      ผมว่าลองลดความตึงลงมาซัก 5-10% ครับ ไม่ก็ลด gauge เช่นจาก 1.25 ลงมา 1.20 ครับ จะสบายขึ้น ไม่งั้นก็ไป hyper G soft ไม่ก็เอ็น yonex ก็ค่อนข้างจะนิ่มครับ

    If arm issues were not an issue would you stick with confidential? I ditched our lynx tour because it’s heavy and doesn’t provide enough spin and switched to confidential. It has more control and byte than hyper g.

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  Год назад +1

      I still don't like the confidential due to its muted/dead feel. I prefer hyper G soft from its great snapback and a more lively stringbed.

    • @tantennis

      I prefer tour bite soft because I like pocketing feel but remains crispy. Tour bite is too harsh for me. On blade I like tour bite soft and ice code. On whiteout I like hyper G soft.

    Just finished my playtest wirh TBSoft. I can’t understand why i never tried this string all these years. Maybe because i hate dead plastic feeling of regular tour byte. Soft is another thing……best feeling string from solinco and easily comparable to cyclone tour.
    I believe the main con of this string would be that it doesn’t lasts long ? We shall see how it goes. But this string played good from first hit. No need to settle down.
    So soft (without being too mushy) and crisp in the same time. Plush with gorgeous sweat connected feel. It soooo connected that exceeds all my expectations. The sensation of byting the ball is also top notch. It produces a heavier ball than hyper g and it doesn’t have the plastic feel of hyper g and confidential. Due to its massive byte it felt to me that it also offers better directional control.
    I am crossing my fingers to only see how it lasts…… haven’t been excited with a string since 4G and yonex Rev.

  • @robertgarcia2266
    @robertgarcia2266 6 дней назад

    I hated this string with 16L. I also hated tour Bite reg 16L. For some reason, all tour bite strings are stiffer in the 16L G. Idk why or how, could be where its made or something. But 1.30 is softer in both over 16L and 17 is the best in both but both with die quickly obviously the lower gauge you go. (Besides 16L lol) idk ?

    I prefer HGS mainly on the basis of longer playability for me. I can play it right up till it snaps at 16 hrs or so. With TBS, I need to cut it out after 10hrs due to becoming quite boardy. (I string at 45-48lbs, so not the case that I’ve overstretched it).

      @@tantennis My current favourite soft poly set up is HGS mains and Isospeed Cream crosses. Excellent snapback and comfortable for my occasionally sensitive elbow. I like how Cream is soft enough that notching of the HGS mains occurs more slowly than using a firmer cross string.
