My 11 lite is very good on energy use , no more energy drain than the more expensive phones my family has.on holiday the 11 lite lasted longer than the Samsung S9 and iPhone Xs.. Have you actually used one ?
I've had the Motorola Edge 20 for a few months now and I'm extremely pleased. Beautiful and elegant design. I love the flat screen. Size is not an issue for me. It is currently running Android 12 and is about to be upgraded to 13. I prefer stock Android. The lack of a 3.5 mm jack is not a drama. I also really like the A52 5G.
I have the regular A52 5G and gotta say it offers superb value which is rare for samsung. It just has everything you need & no gimmicks that you don't. Great all-round phone.

Actually mi 11 lite is comfortable since I have gone in store and hold all three phones. Also mp is just a number, the new 64 mp sensor in mi 11 lite captures more details and is better then old budget 108 mp sensor in motorola. Also moto has ufs 3.1 storage and moto edge 20 5g has OLED while mi 11 lite has 10 bit amoled with Dolby vision
Review after 1 month of use: Pros- 1. Processor is amazing, very smooth working. 2. Heating of phone quite less (not inexistent, but very low). 3. Tons and tons of customisation options. 4. Battery life is decent. 5. Phone isn't very heavy, which was an important feature for me. 6. Looks gorgeous, I love the design. 7. IP rating is assuring. Cons: 1. Annoying bloatware: however we can uninstall most of them. 2. Camera is not as good as it should be and the quality of pictures are not very satisfying. 3. Some default apps (which cannot be uninstalled) with annoying push notifications (however, it's like 1 notification in 4 days so...) I'd been using stock Android forever, so this is a first for me. But i think it'll do.

I already got the edge 20, tho I always leave the RR on Auto... never used nor feel the need to use the 144hz so far, since the phone is very fast and snappy for me on Auto and battery has been awesome as well. What can I say, the whole package was more than what I expected, the experience has been a delight and an absolute class! I just wish the screen was smaller and Moto can do better with their update policy.
Don't overlook the Moto Edge 20. It has the best design out of the bunch if you get the white model. Trust me on that one. See it in person if you can. It is beautiful. Plus it's very thin as well.
I'll share my experience about Motorola edge 20. I purchased it on Black Friday cuz I was impressed with some of the specifications but later I made a research and realized this phone has so many cons. The speaker is not stereo (and it's not loud also). The battery is 4000 mAh and is drained quickly. The video recording offers not so good quality as well, especially in the evenings (I expected so much more from 108mp camera) , the photos are ok. And of course there is no audio jack. That's why I decided to return it and buy Samsung galaxy a52s. I think it's 10 times better than Motorola edge 20
I am using the Xperia 1 II and my wife the Xperia 1 III. Just bought the Samsung A52S for my niece, as it sounds like the Xperia 10 III done right, with 778 SOC and 120Hz sAMOLED display, as well as Xperia's features like expandable memory slot, headphone jack and IP dust and water. Having OIS on the main camera helps too for night shots and videos.

Thanks for the video! I'm about to buy A52s or Edge 20. I love Motorola for the "almost stock" Android, but nowadays their update policy is a nightmare. I hate custom Android UIs like Samsung used to have, but it appears A52s is the best option now. In addition, mini jack and smaller size than Moto are a great pluses for Samsung.
I think moto for people who want to watch some movie and anime on big display. And, man, motos update is not nightmare, yes, it is worse than pixel, oneplus and samsung, but better than many other companies
I want to experience the ready for feature of edge 20, not mentioned here. Its basically samsung dex, but for samsung you will have to get more expensive phones, double the price.
The Xiaomi gets the 33w fast charger in the box, along with the dongle to compensate for the missing headphone jack. I think that's where Samsung drops the ball. Not only does the 25w charger not come in the box but 25w is still not in line with the competition. And as i said before, the design on the 11 Lite is stunning. And it also has 2 gigs more ram, another +. I'd say the Poco F3 and the 11 Lite 5G are the bargain phones of the year, both cost less than 350 here. The Edge 20 is €500 here, definitely in the upper mid range or even in the lower flagship range. The S20 FE is probably a better buy, since it costs around €450. Poco F3 here! It annoys me how much this phone gets overlooked. It has the most powerful processor in it, theres no comparison in terms of power. It has an amazing Custom ROM community meaning MIUI isn't really a hurdle. My only complaint is that the camera isn't as good as I'd like. Also the 33w charger is AMAZING. I literally charge my phone when I go to the bathroom and always gain at least 10%. It's insane
Black Friday in my country delivered pretty reasonable offers this year and I got the A52s for my girlfriend with 120 eur off the regular price. Its very competitive deal, Samsung have finally upped their game in the midrange again.

Purchased my Samsung A52s last night for a very modest £349. I don't need crazy performance, I need reliability which is what 3 years OS updates (and 4 years security), an IP67 rating, a headphone jack and an SD card reader offers. I'm moving from a OnePlus 5T (four years old, was a beast!) so if anyone has questions then drop them below and I'll give an honest answer after some usage :) edit: Good price for the phone, but wasn't for me. phone was v thick, fingerprint reader was crap, didn't enjoy OneUI after OxygenOS. Got Pixel 6 and way more satisfied.

Bought 11 lite 5g ne, gotta say i love it so much. Battery is superb. Roughly 2% charge per min as it comes with the 33w charger. Around 1 day use mainly youtube and social media still i have extra juice in it with 90hz refresh rate on and youtube on max quality. 😍

@@akshay5569 havent got the miui13. Still on 12.5.14. i would say the camera is decent minus night mode. If youre more to camera and overall perfoance, a52s 5g would be the perfect all rounder. But for slightly cheaper with decent performance, this phone would do. Only cons i would say is some app optimization (top apps works perfectly) and night camera. Video quality is really good for its price
Thank for the review! As a girl I'd go with Xiaomi, it is thinner and it is like 30 g less than Samsung, so it is significantly more comfortable. The fingerprint reader is way faster on Xiaomi. The frontal cam in the corner is less distracting in my opinion, and I never use it anyways. The only drawback to me is the main camera, but I'd also like to see some connectivity comparison, 4g speed tests on both of them.

All three are great. I've usually go Motorola but at £429 it's overpriced in comparison. I picked up the Mi 11 Lite 5G with the 780G for £329 in mint green. Excellent phone with decent spec, lightweight and fast charging.

I feel like companies know what is the best midrange that most of us want but don't wanna build it... Honestly a Pixel 5 as it's with midrange chip with a QHD+ 120hz display for something like 430$ i will buy it.. the size and weight of Pixel 5 is just the perfect one.. i'm using OnePlus 7 Pro for more than 1 year and i can't get used to shape and weight.... I have bought the a52 5g (not a52s) for around 20k pesos or 400 US, my cousins are using iphone 12 and samsung s21, we all play the same games like Call of Duty. And ive tried their phones.. Yes they are better, but definitely not MORE THAN TWICE the amount of my phone better..Samsung has killed it with the mid range phones, beginning with the a50..
@@crimson8043 It might not suit everyone with the plastic type back but I really like it myself and prefer it over the glass backed style phones. I have the black version and the matt finish is nice. Overall generally very pleased with the phone but I chose it for mid range decent specs with most features that suited me personally like headphone and the guaranteed updates

@@crimson8043 I'm of a similar mindset. I toyed with just going Bluetooth only to force myself to get used to the inevitable. Having used the Bluetooth in my work van just to test I'm glad I got a headphone jack. There are too many issues with Spotify auto playing when my phone connects to the radio and also the radio tries to default reconnect when I start the engine again but it takes Bluetooth 5 seconds to connect so it defaults to FM radio. So I'm constantly fighting apps and the radio auto playing itself. It's so annoying. Reverted to aux input. But I fear it's a matter of time.
Using mi 11 lite ne 5g and yes all phones are best in their respective catagory. Only difference is display on mi 11 lite ne 5g is good then motorola and colours are accurate on mi 11 lite. Also one ui and miui are feature rich then stock. Also mi have glass back
Got my self a Xiaomi mi 11 lite 5G. Not the NE version. And in suprised. It above my Axpecttions works fine and fast. One thing it does me short its the batterij.
same i wanted a thin and light with a rlly good screen (it has a 10-bit hdr10+ dolby vision display). also has corning gg6 screen, with bt 5.2, with haptic feedback. i dont like oneui and it came with every thing i need in the box. overall really enjoying it when i grabbed, it on offer now at £329 with free redmi buds 3
I have the original 780G version too (mint green) and it's a decent phone for £329. I haven't found any battery issues on 12.5.3 and can last easily into the next day. I was worried coming from Motorola as its my first Xiaomi but no issues whatsoever. With Nova launcher Prime it's identical to how I ran on Moto G6 Plus

Was waiting for S22 Ultra but went with A52s 5G instead and invest the rest. I am very happy with my purchase. Can play Genshin Impact with okay heat. 120hz is buttery smooth I love it. OneUI is so clean. I havw the 256GB mint. $500 well spent. 🤩

One thing to point out is that A52s has poor haptics. No regular updates from Edge 20. Edge 20's stock UI will be the selling point.

Frankly speaking, the lack of headphone Jack on a Xaiomi device isn't a deal breaker due to that option of wirelessly streaming Hi-Res audio most of them are capable of. Coupled with dependable Bluetooth streaming. They make feature rich devices.

Samsung A52s. When you see that display with highlight refresh rate, you will be inlove. Wide and ultrawide cameras are great. It's more versatile than Pixel 4a in camera department and in software department than Nord2. I have A52 white version.

I had the white 128 GB model for 4 days now, and i must say im impressed. I went from the Huawei P Smart Z, to the A52s 5G, and the A52s is better in every single way, the photos are soooo much better on the A52s, the performance is similar to the flagship samsung phones. Battery lasts long, even with the 120Hz refresh rate turned on and brightness turned to almost full it lasts long. Just a few cons i have to mention: - I wish the 256 GB 8 GB model was available in Europe - Doesn't support Samsung DEX - Comes with a 15W "fast charging brick" And who could even call that fast tbh, with Xiaomi having that 120W fast charging brick. - It doesn't have Edge Lightning, in my opinion it's not a gimmick - Wish the screen was 6.7 inches like on the A72, since Samsung won't make phones like A72 5G, A72s 5G or whatever. Just don't let my opinion sway your decision. It's my first time using a proper midrange phone. So choose the phone that suites your needs.
I bought the phone and it's a really great phone with an average battery but could charge the phone from 15-6x something temp in 15 min which is just awesome
I'd argue Samsung's one UI is better than Stock Android. Stock Android has frequently taken features Samsung already had like split screen for instance. Motorola are terrible for software updates which is a big negative for them.

Thanks, this review really helped me decide which phone to buy. I am going with either the Moto Edge 20, or the Pro. I was previously going for the Samsung Galaxy A52s, but this video helped me find out that the Motorola was way better value for my use case, at about the same price. And I'm really happy that you no longer use degrading comments for your viewers (I was initially hesitant on watching this video, as I always hated those "jokes" in your videos, but I'm happy that there weren't any obviously noticeable ones in here.)

Xiaomi is better choice for budget but Xiaomi is known for some bugs.. I'd stick for Samsung for now as it's more tested and consistent with their software.. Xiaomi in the other hand slowly leveling Samsung/IPHone so I maybe pick up some Xiaomi in few more years.. Samsung and GooglePixel is the better choice for android on android for now
@@abra.hui. If Moto G100 was smaller, I'd buy that phone. Motorola has the best UI for my taste, but the phone is too big for me, and it does not have an OLED panel.
For me, problem with all those phones, is the size, and the other problem is that I don't like anything else but stock android. If I had to choose between those three I would probably go with Samsung.
I bagged the A52S last Friday ...when it hit the shops and before it disappears like it's predecessors. I had an S10+ . Yes I am now officially slumming it but seriously it's a wonderful phone and battery life holds it's own even when I was downloading all that stuff like Tik Tok and FB (no they didn't come pre installed). it's 439 euros so very pleased I didn't have to sell a kidney.
If you're an all rounder then A52s is the best for you, it has nice camera and tried playing games on it with the game booster it was amazingly smooth and even though I played for more than 6 hrs but still have 30% left in my battery and the IP rating packs a punch too...
I got redmi note 10 pro, and I'm wondering if it's worth it to buy a52s 5g now? I'm looking to update camera and hopefully proximity sensor will work on Samsung better than on xiaomi. How are the speakers on Samsung?

Being on a limited income (and notoriously tight with my cash) the likely cheaper price of the Xiaomi appeals but realistically it seems as though there's not a great deal of differentiation between the phones in day to day use. Of course, there is never a good time to buy because there will always be something better if you just wait a couple of months. My current phone is the Poco F3. I'm a bit of a Xiaomi fan despite the shortcomings of the brand. I generally check out the latest reviews and comparisons to keep in touch with the current standard that can be expected in a phone in my price bracket. Because Chris, and many other reviewers, benefit from subscribers I subscribe and occasionally add my comments. Even if I'm not currently in the market for a phone I feel that it helps me, in the long run, if I provide feedback for reviewers on what aspects of their reviews I find helpful. It's selfish I know but it's a teensy tiny little nudge to them to provide the kind of information I'm looking for. I'm old, borderline ancient, and at some point I'm going to give up renewing my phone annually. At that time different criteria will apply, particularly number of upgrades that are guaranteed, build quality, and 'future proofing'. At that time knowing a brand's track record will be helpful. One last point, I have a couple of friends who are still in the 20th century as far as technology is concerned and they will ask for my advice if and when they decide to stagger into 21st century technology. A52s 5G have a lot better Band support which means more likely you get 5G on it than Nord. One Plus has issues when it comes to getting signal in the USA for example. Check T mobile reviews for the One Plus phones. Camera better on A52s 5G as well.

Don't overlook the Moto Edge 20. It has the best design out of the bunch if you get the white model. Trust me on that one. See it in person if you can. It is beautiful. Plus it's very thin as well.
I'll share my experience about Motorola edge 20. I purchased it on Black Friday cuz I was impressed with some of the specifications but later I made a research and realized this phone has so many cons. The speaker is not stereo (and it's not loud also). The battery is 4000 mAh and is drained quickly. The video recording offers not so good quality as well, especially in the evenings (I expected so much more from 108mp camera) , the photos are ok. And of course there is no audio jack. That's why I decided to return it and buy Samsung galaxy a52s. I think it's 10 times better than Motorola edge 20

I am using the Xperia 1 II and my wife the Xperia 1 III. Just bought the Samsung A52S for my niece, as it sounds like the Xperia 10 III done right, with 778 SOC and 120Hz sAMOLED display, as well as Xperia's features like expandable memory slot, headphone jack and IP dust and water. Having OIS on the main camera helps too for night shots and videos.

Thanks for the video! I'm about to buy A52s or Edge 20. I love Motorola for the "almost stock" Android, but nowadays their update policy is a nightmare. I hate custom Android UIs like Samsung used to have, but it appears A52s is the best option now. In addition, mini jack and smaller size than Moto are a great pluses for Samsung.

The Xiaomi gets the 33w fast charger in the box, along with the dongle to compensate for the missing headphone jack. I think that's where Samsung drops the ball. Not only does the 25w charger not come in the box but 25w is still not in line with the competition. And as i said before, the design on the 11 Lite is stunning. And it also has 2 gigs more ram, another +. I'd say the Poco F3 and the 11 Lite 5G are the bargain phones of the year, both cost less than 350 here. The Edge 20 is €500 here, definitely in the upper mid range or even in the lower flagship range. The S20 FE is probably a better buy, since it costs around €450. Thanks for the review, i was thinking about sending the A52s back but i guess i'm gonna hang on to it.
Sure they did gave us 25w or 15w charger but i think they compensate with ip rating and ois.
Miui is buggy and has horrible ram management.

Poco F3 here! It annoys me how much this phone gets overlooked. It has the most powerful processor in it, theres no comparison in terms of power. It has an amazing Custom ROM community meaning MIUI isn't really a hurdle. My only complaint is that the camera isn't as good as I'd like. Also the 33w charger is AMAZING. I literally charge my phone when I go to the bathroom and always gain at least 10%. It's insane
I think the 4 years of guaranteed software updates more than make up for the lack of a 25W charger. A decent 25W charger is like 10$ on Amazon anywas

He said he was using a Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.
Purchased my Samsung A52s last night for a very modest £349. I don't need crazy performance, I need reliability which is what 3 years OS updates (and 4 years security), an IP67 rating, a headphone jack and an SD card reader offers.
I'm moving from a OnePlus 5T (four years old, was a beast!) so if anyone has questions then drop them below and I'll give an honest answer after some usage :)
edit: Good price for the phone, but wasn't for me. phone was v thick, fingerprint reader was crap, didn't enjoy OneUI after OxygenOS. Got Pixel 6 and way more satisfied.

Bought 11 lite 5g ne, gotta say i love it so much. Battery is superb. Roughly 2% charge per min as it comes with the 33w charger. Around 1 day use mainly youtube and social media still i have extra juice in it with 90hz refresh rate on and youtube on max quality. 😍

@@akshay5569 havent got the miui13. Still on 12.5.14. i would say the camera is decent minus night mode. If youre more to camera and overall perfoance, a52s 5g would be the perfect all rounder. But for slightly cheaper with decent performance, this phone would do. Only cons i would say is some app optimization (top apps works perfectly) and night camera. Video quality is really good for its price

As a girl I'd go with Xiaomi, it is thinner and it is like 30 g less than Samsung, so it is significantly more comfortable. The fingerprint reader is way faster on Xiaomi. The frontal cam in the corner is less distracting in my opinion, and I never use it anyways. The only drawback to me is the main camera, but I'd also like to see some connectivity comparison, 4g speed tests on both of them.

That Motorola looks nice, but their software and security support has been shocking in recent years. In order to compete, they need to state the support for each device!

All three are great. I've usually go Motorola but at £429 it's overpriced in comparison. I picked up the Mi 11 Lite 5G with the 780G for £329 in mint green. Excellent phone with decent spec, lightweight and fast charging.

Overall generally very pleased with the phone but I chose it for mid range decent specs with most features that suited me personally like headphone and the guaranteed updates

@@crimson8043 I'm of a similar mindset. I toyed with just going Bluetooth only to force myself to get used to the inevitable. Having used the Bluetooth in my work van just to test I'm glad I got a headphone jack. There are too many issues with Spotify auto playing when my phone connects to the radio and also the radio tries to default reconnect when I start the engine again but it takes Bluetooth 5 seconds to connect so it defaults to FM radio. So I'm constantly fighting apps and the radio auto playing itself. It's so annoying. Reverted to aux input. But I fear it's a matter of time.

Using mi 11 lite ne 5g and yes all phones are best in their respective catagory. Only difference is display on mi 11 lite ne 5g is good then motorola and colours are accurate on mi 11 lite. Also one ui and miui are feature rich then stock. Also mi have glass back
Got my self a Xiaomi mi 11 lite 5G. Not the NE version. And in suprised. It above my Axpecttions works fine and fast. One thing it does me short its the batterij.
same i wanted a thin and light with a rlly good screen (it has a 10-bit hdr10+ dolby vision display). also has corning gg6 screen, with bt 5.2, with haptic feedback. i dont like oneui and it came with every thing i need in the box. overall really enjoying it when i grabbed, it on offer now at £329 with free redmi buds 3
The battery drain seem to be a software issue. I saw users report this issue when they update to miui 12.5
I have the original 780G version too (mint green) and it's a decent phone for £329. I haven't found any battery issues on 12.5.3 and can last easily into the next day. I was worried coming from Motorola as its my first Xiaomi but no issues whatsoever. With Nova launcher Prime it's identical to how I ran on Moto G6 Plus

- Dolby Vision, 10bit.
- Consistent camera performance(Image processing boosted by very good margin in gcam betters many flagship grade camera).
- Better battery performance (gsmarena stats)
- Sleek and light weight design.
- Cheapest among all.
One thing to point out is that A52s has poor haptics. No regular updates from Edge 20. Edge 20's stock UI will be the selling point.

Frankly speaking, the lack of headphone Jack on a Xaiomi device isn't a deal breaker due to that option of wirelessly streaming Hi-Res audio most of them are capable of. Coupled with dependable Bluetooth streaming.

Samsung A52s. When you see that display with highlight refresh rate, you will be inlove. Wide and ultrawide cameras are great. It's more versatile than Pixel 4a in camera department and in software department than Nord2. I have A52 white version.

I had the white 128 GB model for 4 days now, and i must say im impressed. I went from the Huawei P Smart Z, to the A52s 5G, and the A52s is better in every single way, the photos are soooo much better on the A52s, the performance is similar to the flagship samsung phones. Battery lasts long, even with the 120Hz refresh rate turned on and brightness turned to almost full it lasts long.
Just a few cons i have to mention:
- I wish the 256 GB 8 GB model was available in Europe
- Doesn't support Samsung DEX
- Comes with a 15W "fast charging brick"
And who could even call that fast tbh, with Xiaomi having that 120W fast charging brick.
- It doesn't have Edge Lightning, in my opinion it's not a gimmick
- Wish the screen was 6.7 inches like on the A72, since Samsung won't make phones like A72 5G, A72s 5G or whatever.
Just don't let my opinion sway your decision.
It's my first time using a proper midrange phone. So choose the phone that suites your needs.

I'd argue Samsung's one UI is better than Stock Android. Stock Android has frequently taken features Samsung already had like split screen for instance. Motorola are terrible for software updates which is a big negative for them.

I was previously going for the Samsung Galaxy A52s, but this video helped me find out that the Motorola was way better value for my use case, at about the same price. And I'm really happy that you no longer use degrading comments for your viewers (I was initially hesitant on watching this video, as I always hated those "jokes" in your videos, but I'm happy that there weren't any obviously noticeable ones in here.)

Xiaomi is better choice for budget but Xiaomi is known for some bugs.. I'd stick for Samsung for now as it's more tested and consistent with their software.. Xiaomi in the other hand slowly leveling Samsung/IPHone so I maybe pick up some Xiaomi in few more years.. Samsung and GooglePixel is the better choice for android on android for now

I bagged the A52S last Friday ...when it hit the shops and before it disappears like it's predecessors. I had an S10+ . Yes I am now officially slumming it but seriously it's a wonderful phone and battery life holds it's own even when I was downloading all that stuff like Tik Tok and FB (no they didn't come pre installed). it's 439 euros so very pleased I didn't have to sell a kidney.

If you're an all rounder then A52s is the best for you, it has nice camera and tried playing games on it with the game booster it was amazingly smooth and even though I played for more than 6 hrs but still have 30% left in my battery and the IP rating packs a punch too...
108mp or 64 mp thing is the biggest gimmick in smartphone photography.
I think the Xiaomi pics look more vibrant, it's the best looking phone and great value..
I got redmi note 10 pro, and I'm wondering if it's worth it to buy a52s 5g now? I'm looking to update camera and hopefully proximity sensor will work on Samsung better than on xiaomi. How are the speakers on Samsung?

Being on a limited income (and notoriously tight with my cash) the likely cheaper price of the Xiaomi appeals but realistically it seems as though there's not a great deal of differentiation between the phones in day to day use.
Which one? For me it's painfully easy, wait for newer offerings next year.

Of course, there is never a good time to buy because there will always be something better if you just wait a couple of months. My current phone is the Poco F3. I'm a bit of a Xiaomi fan despite the shortcomings of the brand. I generally check out the latest reviews and comparisons to keep in touch with the current standard that can be expected in a phone in my price bracket. Because Chris, and many other reviewers, benefit from subscribers I subscribe and occasionally add my comments. Even if I'm not currently in the market for a phone I feel that it helps me, in the long run, if I provide feedback for reviewers on what aspects of their reviews I find helpful. It's selfish I know but it's a teensy tiny little nudge to them to provide the kind of information I'm looking for. I'm old, borderline ancient, and at some point I'm going to give up renewing my phone annually. At that time different criteria will apply, particularly number of upgrades that are guaranteed, build quality, and 'future proofing'. At that time knowing a brand's track record will be helpful.
One last point, I have a couple of friends who are still in the 20th century as far as technology is concerned and they will ask for my advice if and when they decide to stagger into 21st century technology. Oh yes, it entertains me, in the same way that courses on free code camp do.

How does the A52s 5G compare to OnePlus Nord 2, especially camera wise?
Samsung dominates one plus
I think samsung better at camera but the dimensity 1200 is much stronger than the SD 778
Samsung has a better skin and is better for updates - 4 years which beats all other Android phones
A52s 5G have a lot better Band support which means more likely you get 5G on it than Nord.
One Plus has issues when it comes to getting signal in the USA for example.
Check T mobile reviews for the One Plus phones.
Camera better on A52s 5G as well.

The edge 20 is having a 10bit display. Does that make any difference compared to the other 2?

Xiaomi have SD card support. You have choice: 2 sim card or 1 sim card and 1 SD card.
A 52s have to
