Top tip, replace the cells in the chinese copies with high drain cells, Molicel P28A or P28B, they are like 4-7 bucks a cell and will get you more power than the milwaukee batteries. Your "6ah" chinese pack, is actually a 2.6-4AH, and 4 is a stretch, depending on the cells used.

I think these cheapi knock offs are ok if you don’t use them in heavy load and don’t run them down. Probably for cabinet installers and stuff like that. Drive a couple of screws. Flashlight. Whatever. But for make amperage and heat generation they are crap. Think of them like a Mitsubishi Mirage 3 cylinder car. It will get you to the store but you ain’t bringing home a lot of stuff in it. That’s the best analogy I can make.

I think they don’t work because you drop them all the time lol.

I had vanon too and other aftermarket and yes they work but after you try to use them for heavy use they give up don’t hold charge as the first time or just stop working like it happened to me I repaired it but learn a lot ( don’t buy cheap ones ) the circuits inside and cells are not what’s stated outside a oem so I did manage to make it work but only originals have the juice that labs tested their tools ( only used them for led and smaller things but after time they again fail so ended up for recycling center . No wonder why originals are so expensive but last so much one I had lasted over 4years original of course and this after market lasted 1 week w drastic use do it didn’t even work hard like the 4 years one heheh 🤭

The m12 stubby might be better for the job.

He'll. Even the Mikwaukee 6.0 Batts are trash. I have had 5 x 1.5 Ah Batts that have lasted 3 years and still work and 2 x 6.0 Ah Batts that lasted 7 months and won't charge. If anything, I would suggest just using the smaller ones like 3.0 Ah. My JW bought some 6.0 Batts and they took a crap around the same time frame as mine did. 🙃 But, his 3.0 Batts are still holding strong. So. Concensus here is don't buy expensive garbage.

Out of the 3 Milwaukee 6.0 M12 batteries I have bought, 1 has already went bad. I use them pretty hard, but they are 1 year or less old. Not impressive. I have never had an M18 battery fail in less than 5 years of use.

@@LostSkills Yeah. I am currently switching all of my tools to M18. It's expensive though.

still dont understand why milwaukee didnt make m12 5.0ah using samsung 25r cells, that would have been an excellent battery
