Honestly, we've reached a point where you have to pause the game and zoom in just to notice some tiny differences, like a sharper shadow or a hair strand that moves more "realistically." This obsession with graphics is steering the industry away from what really matters: good, creative games. We haven't even seen the full potential of the regular PS5 yet, with so many games still being released for the PS4, and now they're already dropping a PS5 Pro? Consoles get maximized after the halfway point every generation. Especially towards the end...the pro will just make whatever is there...better. gta6 will max the ps5 without question and guess what? It's not the fault of graphics. There's plenty of pretty games that are also good. Elden Ring, for example. The issue is Sony and many of these triple A studios are toxic and only care about pleasing their dumbass shareholders who have zero idea what a video game is. They don't care about making experiences. They care about making money. The Zoom is to compensate the fact that you're probably not watching it on a 4K screen and with RUclips compression at 1080p the details don't show well. In person, it will be a dramatic difference.

Anyone that would buy this for a slight visual improvement to the same game has more money than sense. Developers haven't even pushed the base PS5 to its limits.
getting higher frames in games like dragons dogma 2 (hopefully its trly 60 fps now ) and other future games can be seen as worth it especially when in the pc space we do the same thing for even less frame boost at times especially with how nivida has been for the last few generations

Warhammer is a good game, but graphically it doesn't give any reason not to run on smooth and stable 60 fps.
Look at Forbidden West, which runs at 70-80 fps and looks absolutely georgous.
@@nimaelos3561 Forbidden West and Ragnarok are still the best looking games I've seen so far on playstation and they are cross gen. FF7 Remake Intergrade looks better than Rebirth which is kinda crazy considering they are 4 years apart.
People saying we need more next gen games which is true but honestly I've been disappointed with most of them they are using that TAA like their lives depend on it making all the graphics look blurry so that they still look like ps4 games.
