- Everytime I try to turn my sony bravia on, it automatically turns off by itself. It keeps turning on and off until i cant turn it on by my remote! Pls helpp
UPDATE FIXED! i brought my bravia to the nearest sony repair shop. they said it has to do with a dirty electricity in the motherboard. they had to do something and they repaired it after 3 days,

Thanks the fix works for me. I have a Sony Bravia manufactured in 2010. It's 10 years old now all of a sudden it has the same problem on and off by itself. After removing the back cover and I vacuumed all dirt then the TV is back to normal. Thanks for sharing the solution !

My solution to the same problem. I experimented with it and realized it was the internal speakers that's causing it. Since we use a top box for our cable with red, white and yellow plugs. The solution I did was I disabled the internal speakers(in the menu) and connect the audio of our cable box to external speakers. Problem solved. Been using it for 2 years now with this set up with no shutdowns. Bravia model 42ex410 yr. 2012.
Super annoying that all have this problems and no one posts any updates. I just replaced the T CON board. Same problem.
We have a late model 2007 Sony Bravia model KDL-40V2500 bought new. It was turning off and immediately back on sometimes very very short intervals and some long. Annoying! Some days it worked fine. Tried unplugging (30 seconds) and resetting with power button and volume switch. No help. Took out (heavy TV!) to my hot humid SW Florida garage and removed the back unplugged from AC of course. Get your Phillips (small and large size end) and Look for all arrows pointing to screw holes. There’s 2 smaller ones dead center!! Gently Pull off back. Now, lower bottom center left there’s a small white clip that connects power to a board from a shiny metal egg shaped housing where the thick ac power cord connects to. We Disconnected and cleaned male and female with electronic spray (plastic safe dry cleaning fluid in a can Home Depot). Air hosed entire back. Turned it on and let it run for an hour in my hot humid garage (92 degrees) with no issues. The top did get hot so thinking it wasn’t heat issues making it act up. Cleaned dusty back panel with spray soap and garden hose. Let dry completely…… it ran perfectly for another hour. Reinstalled rear panel and brought inside ac’d home. Still running with no glitches so far. I like the set. Yes it’s old but really nice picture. Not many hdmi in’s but it has a Headphone jack! Good luck. No guarantees. Cheers

Ishaan Manwani just go to your local repair shop and get it fixed. it needs replacing parts of the tv in the back and they have to order it on a bigger sony supplier

it costs around 40-50$ because they had to replace some parts. But if its still up for warranty, then its free.
@@luel9490 nice thats super cheap fix and you said it was 10 years old? Mines about 9 years old almost and no problems with it. Im probaly gonna replace it next year for sure when i get the money its got over 9000 hours and works great but its probaly got a but of leg left. Ive heard most sony and samsung panels can last at least 15-2000 hours on average and for sure longer even up to 30 or 40,000 crazy ive never had a tv go out on me before

it is fine now. around 20$ but im from the philippines, maybe the price differ from country to country

Mine started 3 days ago too. Seems like the update messed everyone up at same time. Let's put a class action lawsuit I paid $2500 3years ago for the Sony 75 xbr850 give me 7 years lifespan on this piece of shit Sony set at least!!!!

@@luel9490 halaa. Nagawa ko yung akin ngayon lang. Factory reset tapos magadjust lang ako sa settings ayun gumana hahha. Nagbutingting ako hehe
at least na ok yun sa iyo. ginawa ko yung factory reset multiple times. gumana naman the first few attemps pero bumabalik yung tv na nagoff after few weeks eh.
