Just finished with all 5 skids. Instructions are great and everything fit well. The bolt connecting the gas tank skid to the transfer case skid was a beast. My solution was to remove the frame rail bolts and duct tape the back of the bolt from the gas tank skid. Went straight in and no problems tightening. Looking forward to testing it out at the Appalachian Toyota event in 3 weeks at Windrock. Great product!
Heat rises and the skids are below. There is plenty of airflow around them from the sides, even when crawling at very low speeds. Of course, having 4 Catalytic convertors and an automatic transmission and huge muffler don't help any of it! :)
Wow nice video and great job . Heads off to the cameraman.😂

Great people. Quality and customer service are second to none. If you’re on the fence…go Budbuilt!
Fellas, thanks for sharing this video. I had to drop my skids for a completely different reason and this video explained the process.
Thank you for doing this, I would’ve been lost otherwise. Also I enjoy the very detailed instructions and proves why your class above anyone else
The plastic pieces at 3:10, are they important? I am thinking about tossing them away since they seem pointless to me.
Any idea why the stock guards are just a nightmare? It's complicated like the three piece front skid and the transfer case cage.
Do the skids increase the heat of the transfer Case and other comments since they are solid?
