I stumbled upon your channel to learn more about wedding photography, and I’m really enjoying your storytelling! I'm already married, but I’m tempted to have a second celebration just for the chance to have you as our photographer haha
I have this evening just stumbled on your videos. You are a breath of fresh air and your narrative is crystal, clinical and so understandable. I also love the crispness and cleanliness of your photography. Many thanks I am now an avid follower, so keep them coming.
Great video bro, agreed with everything, something extra that i like to do is, just tell the couple that you need "to tweak your camera settings" for a moment, that makes the couple to forget about you, as you pretend to "tweak your camera", then they ALWAYS start to talk, make jokes each other, to touch and kiss, and that makes the most beautiful photos that you can take, simple trick, and always works!😍📸👰🤵♂
Luke, thank you so much. Before every session, I cram in a dozen videos to try and make sure my photos will be okay. Yours is one of the only ones that has made me feel confident and so much better after watching. Your last point is perfect. Enjoying the actual process of taking the photos, and just having fun and remembering this is something I love to do is what I think I’ve been missing all along. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this video with us.
Thanks for sharing your insights and expertise in such a professional way. So many good advices distilled. Been there done that. But even after all these years of practicing getting back to the basics and the core social skills is a must. Can't wait for your next video ! Greetings from Belgium
@@lukewtcleland I do mostly landscape photography but also want to develop in portraits a bit. These tips are just different and not like “get a 85mm 1.2 lens and go to the beach at sunset.”
Great video! All great points. I’m still working on my portraiture skills. Question-your video quality is top notch! What camera and lens are you using?
Here's the cheat sheet!: shorturl.at/uFHNR
watching this before shooting a wedding & this felt like a great little pep talk! thank you!
I love it! Hope it was helpful!

Thanks! Glad you like it - thank you!
I’m using a Nikon z6ii and a 50mm 1.2
It would be nice to include some of your work as examples when you’re describing certain things
I always get an error when I try to get the cheat sheet :(
Strange! I just tested it and it working!
@@lukewtcleland it says „couldn’t submit form due to a temporary issue. Try again later“
very loud music in the beginning
The first six minutes is a waste of time. Start at 5:50
It's just worth what you paid for it!
