Thanks for sharing! Could you do a video on lens choices and why for different wedding phases: from getting ready, indoor church events and reception? I do events and mostly rely on 35mm and 50mm 1.4 lenses. I like the look of 85mm but it limiting sometimes indoors due to lack of space or people walking across the subjects. I just transitioned to all primes to force myself into better composition instead of staying put and zooming in and out.
I love this video. Could we ask you to include the lens, flash, shoot details ofthe photos in the summary? I'm starting out and I appreciate your sharing the emotional and relationship building with clients. It would also be great to understanding what was equipment and setup was used to get these incredible photos.
Yo!! Dave Ramsey was the man. Survived 2020 cos we had no debt as well. Thanks for sharing your experience for the past 10 years as a professional photographer. Truly inspiring
Just started watching these videos after refusing to pay for a wedding photographer and going for the ‘give all my photo savvy friends a roll of film and an older camera, but now i see what you can do with wedding photography and after 12 years of other photo experience…i kinda want to get into it! Your videos are top notch
How did your gear develop in that time? Did you start out with the greatest primes or did you shoot zoom at the beginning or just cheaper lenses? Did you start with flash form.beginning or did you add it at some point? Or did you rent your gear at the beginning? Or did you start out with 2 bodies or how did you whole technique develop?
