Bro I’m goin thru the same problem rn. When you disconnected the battery terminal. Did you unplug or close the uniconnect software before doing so? It gives me a warning when I close out during the flash. But I can’t get back to the normal start screen
And for the tuning process, the cable is not required but it does allow you to do flash the car at home as opposed to going to an authorized dealer. I highly recommend the uniconnect cable if you have the coins lol
@@jayReLeNtLeSs I will. And they said tune I have to purchase online from Unitronic. For each tune is $120 if doing it in phases. They said if I purchased 2 tunes (DSG & stage) they just charge $120 for both at one time
@@Crnx449 IMO, I chose Unitronic from the start. The power differences between the distributors didn't tear me much (I'm sure APR is advertised as making the most power). That Uniconnect option ultimately sold me lol and as reliable as my GLI has been, Unitronic has yet to give me any issues. I will be uploading stock vs stage 1+ very soon! Thank you for the comments, sub to stay tuned!
The tire pressure light on volkswagen is always bugging lol
How is the stock turbo holding up? And how many tuned miles on it?
Stock turbo is holding up excellent 🙏🏾 I’m really happy with the car. And around 10k tuned miles now 👍🏾

What’s good bro. How much was the cable and the tune? Do you have to buy both individually or just the cable for the tune. Thanks bro
I bought my stage 1+ tune on sale I think it was about $560, and the cable was still priced at $150. Just about $700 for both

@@jayReLeNtLeSs Well considering the fact that they were charging me $120 at the authorized dealer, I think the cable is worth it too
@@TheDarkPs3 Sounds like authorized robbery to meee smh dude! Try the cable out bro, I didn't have any issues at all!

How the tune holding up so far I'm thinking about getting the same tune 2017 gli dsg
5/5 bro I love it, wish I would've it flashed the GLI sooner!
@@jayReLeNtLeSs no downpipe running 1+?

@@emanuelrodriguez10 thank you bud 🙏🏾 just the AEM intake and a resonator delete!
Hey bro. Do you need an internet connection on the laptop while doing the flash?
Yes sir! I pulled the jetta inside the garage to make sure my connection was as strong and stable as possible to prevent any "ECU damage" mid flash
@@jayReLeNtLeSs got it. Thanks 👍 I'll be doing the same route from home rather than waste time going to a dealer
@@Crnx449 having that uniconnect cable is so clutch. Definitely a good investment too if you want more power and end up upgrading again
@@jayReLeNtLeSs most definitely! I'm still deciding whether to go APR Stage 1 or UNi Stage 1+... Any thoughts?
Mine is MK6 Jetta 1.4
