The initial musical piece for the Klingons arrival to do battle is a Classic, which perfectly matches what you'd expect to represent the proud warrior species, And has endured as a standard piece in following star Trek episodes. The legendary photon torpedoes were beautifully done, which was also a continued visual representation of this powerful weapon. An Absolutely powerful work, both visually, and Musically....
I'll explain the tactical thinking of the Klingon Captain. He hoped to predetonate the probe weapon from V'Ger ( or Voyager 6) with the aft photon torpedoes. He launched one and the second at point-blank range both failed to do so! These were categorised and disseminated. Like the other K7-M's of the Kt'ing'a class. If the strategy had worked, this ship would have gotten away. Unfortunately - it didn't! It was a good idea but the power of V'Ger was too overwhelming.
