Wunderschöne und detaillierte Interpretation dieser drei spätromantischen und fein komponierten Intermezzi im gut analysierten Tempo mit klarem doch warmherzigem Klang des technisch perfekten Klaviers und mit srgfältig kontrollierter Dynamik. Einfach wunderbar!

What sublime playing. I'm not sure I've heard better. I have somewhat overlooked Gieseking in the past but not anymore. I just heard his Schumann Fantasy and it was one of the better I've ever heard.
