    I own a pair of this. I love them. Still could not get over the fact that I had no pressure points on my feet with these straps. My feet and knees are very happy from all the excellent dampening it provides.

    I've had about 5 days on these bindings and they are so smooth. Last season I was riding the union ultras and burton cartel X but now I just use this one binding for everything. Super happy with how these baby my aging joints while being responsive when I need it.

    I’ve got 25 days on these this season and they are great. Best binding I’ve ever owned. The adjustability seems endless and they are extremely easy to center. Love the response and the flex w the middle of the road disk. Couldn’t agree more

    LOVE the "Infinity" straps that Bataleon uses. Not sure why Rome doesn't spec them since the bindings are basically identical, but the Infinity strap is superior. A little more cush than whatever is speced on the Cleavers. Easy upgrade for any Rome owners out there.

  • @rutgerros
    @rutgerros 7 месяцев назад +2

    Hi Avran, to replace my cleavers I am looking for a more playful binding but not sacrifice (a lot of) response. Would you advice now drive, jones mercury, astro asym or rome katana?
    I am a rome binding fan but am wondering if the skate tech will suit my style better (less aggressive throughout the years):
    Surfing shidehits, pow and carving with k2 passport and a swallowtail (like korua dart).
    Thanks ahead, your reviews are so solid and super consistent

    I had a bad experience with the Bataleon Blaster last season, dealing with issues like the baseplate screws constantly loosening, a broken strap, and the frustrating toe buckle. Despite the warranty team sending replacements, the problems still exist.
    The toe buckles, in particular, struggle to release smoothly, consistently getting stuck on the last teeth. I've encountered no such problems with Burton and Union bindings. This season, I switched back to Cartel X; for me, reliability is paramount in a pair of bindings. Trouble-free riding is the top priority.

    Beginner here. I thought rotating the high backs in order to have them parallel to the heel edges was something every rider (at least the advanced/expert ones) did? So, it is not..? And it's actually the opposite and a kook thing? (judging by the way you said it. lol) I saw you riding and love your riding style (really important to me, I pretty much only watch Grant Taylor on skateboard and Andy Irons surfing) and your videos really give me the impression you 100% know what you are talking about, so, again, is this a kook thing? lol Thx for the input

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  5 месяцев назад +2

      You do whatever you want with your highback. Just understand rotate it really makes 0 sense unless you're riding some weird ass angles as it's going to reduce how the back spine of the boot pushes into the center of the highback. By moving it, it's going to now push the back spine into the edge of it where it'll reduce the power transmission.
