Every time I join your channel to search for new gear, your reviews got better. Great job!
Would Team or Team Pro be too much for Yes Typo?
Many thanks! No that should work very well. I'd go Team Pro just because of the adjustable response with the Asym ankle strap.
Nice!
I purchased last year's model of the nitro team bindings and they are great but it's a little annoying how hard it is to get my Van's boots in the heel cup... Can you recommend some bindings that are similar to these that have plenty of room in the heel cup?
By the way I paired them with last year's k2 passport is that a decent combination? Thanks again
Glad it's working for you. You might like the Rome Katana, Union Force and possibly the Arbor Cypress.
How is the new ankle strap on regular Teams? Is it rigid? What's the response and boot-hold?
I like the Team Pro a lot better and usually like ankle straps similar to the Team better. The Team Pro was more comfortable and had more support with the bigger side of the Asym up. The Team and Phantom's ankle strap were not wide enough in comparison so I didn't feel like it wrapped properly around my ankle. It's not a bad ankle strap but after trying the Team Pro and Phantom +'s ankle straps I just didn't want to go back to the Team or Phantom.
Thanks for the review! How would you compare the Nitro Team Pro to the new Union Force’s? I’m not too sure which one to get right now.
Two favorite bindings bindings. I like the force better for stance width adjustability, like the response a little better and love that they work with set back inserts. I like the Team Pro's adjustable response, flex underfoot and overall ride. The Team Pro leans a little more on the mtn freestyle to All Mtn and the Force leans a little more All Mtn-Freeride.
@@thegoodridesnow thanks a lot for the response 😊
James, you are doing a great job by making these reviews. But you continue making the same mistake in every review, when you are talking about flipping a mini disk to adjust the stance width from tip to tail. There are no options to set a mini disk binding otherwise, because the gap between the "toe" and "heel" inserts is 4 mm which is too wide for a mini disk. So you won't be able to screw any mini disk facing sliding gaps from edge to edge.
Thanks. Yeah I'll be more clear on that moving forward.
