Your cinematography and storytelling are excellent! Your love for nature and the excitement of being in the wilderness surrounded by wildlife is captured so vividly in your videos.
Thanks Terry! It really is amazing when it all comes together like that, not often that it feels it does like that in Wildlife Photography. Thanks for always encouraging me
What a stunning capture Jeremy! Looked like the perfect location and weather for wildlife photography that morning. Even better that you were able to catch the Great Blue Heron in action.
Thank you! It really was a beautiful morning, I always enjoy weather that makes me feel like I get to be a part of the nature around me. And yes it was truly incredible getting to witness that!
Hi there Jeremy, some great shots there and I love your passion and enthusiasm for photographing your subjects. Just found you channel, keep it going. All the best Richard (UK)👍
Thanks Richard! I appreciate the encouragement. I have been following your channel for a while as well and love watching your content. If you're ever in California make sure to hit me up so we can go out photographing together. Best wishes on your photography and keep up the great content yourself!
Awesome work Jeremy! Love the morning mist and fog! I grew up in the central valley, small farming community out by LNAS. The Kings River was my playground as a kid. Great memories, and this video brought them all back! :) Thanks for sharing!
That's awesome!! Didn't know you were Central Valley raised. If you are ever back let me know and we can photograph together. Thanks for the encouragement!
nice video! First one of yours I have seen, it came up as a suggested video. now I need to binge watch your channel..lol..that looked kinda like a pocket gopher with those teeth, that the Heron caught.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, have fun binging haha. And yea you're correct, definitely was a gopher when I came back and reviewed the footage later.
Really nice work. Great attention to detail and quality. The S1R produces some very nice images. What are you using for your “B” camera, if you don’t mind revealing?
Thank you for the compliment! The S1R is truly an amazing camera. I use a Panasonic G9 as my vlogging camera because it’s still pretty high quality and very lightweight for a second camera to carry
Thank you! Yes I was using the MC-21, it's worked pretty well in my year of using it so far, here is the review on it with the Sigma 150-600 if you want to check it out.
Oh sweet! Yea you already have the experience with it then. Thanks for the encouragement! I’m glad you liked the energy and I hope I can keep inspiring you in your own photography!
Awesome job, We got Blue Herons in White Oak, Pa. It’s the second hardest bird for me to get a picture of in my backyard because they are very smart, and they come after my father’s fish.
That’s awesome you can relate haha. They most definitely are aware and intelligent which makes them hard to capture. So if they are your second what is your first??
@@JeremyNeipp Number 1 would be Red-Tailed Hawks, There’s a breeding pair that likes to hang out in my neighbor’s trees. I ended up getting a couple good pictures with my Lumix g85 with the 100-300mm. I’ve been able to get close just enough to take good pics, and I wanna eventually upgrade to the Sigma 150-600mm to make minimal movement towards them.
Nice video! The fog here has been crazy the last few weeks! Lol thought I was the only one in it along the San Joaquin 😆. I’ve been trying to follow up on a bobcat though and the deer. It’s been a challenge with the weather.
It has been crazy! That's awesome you live along the San Joaquin, we should connect sometime. I've only seen a Bobcat once around here but was unsuccessful at capturing it since it was 20 minutes pre-sunrise and just too dark.
@@JeremyNeipp that would be awesome! It’s been hard finding them lately lol. They are pretty good at staying hidden and this one here decides when it wants to reveal itself usually when I’m not looking for it lol. I’ve ran into it on 4 different occasions and have been lucky enough to sit down near it and get shots of it while pretty close. I have yet to get that close again and I’m hoping that it stays in the area so I can get more lol.
I got a video a few years ago of a Blue Heron catching and eating a rodent! It was still squirming making neck movements on the way down!! Was so cool! T..t ... to capture !
The Snowy Egret wiggles it feet to get the attention of small fish which come to investigate this deadly lore, then the Egret grab them for breakfast, the UK version little Egret also does this 👍.
that is one of the greatest captures I saw here on youtube yet. Could be content for a Nat.Geo Documentary. Maybe you should see if you can sell the video files! Overall the video is one of the finest pieces that you have uploaded yet man. The images, the atmosphere (light and fog), the music it's a pure joy to watch you on your adventure. Absolutely love it!
Thank you so much my man!! That's a huge compliment! I may just have to try haha. I appreciate your encouragement as always as it inspires me to keep going!

Haha most definitely, almost every Panasonic user's dream.
❤️❤️
Glad you liked it!
Gorgeous footage. How far away were you from the Heron at 6:23?
Thank you!! I was probably about 30 feet/10 meters away roughly, pretty close considering how skittish this bird is around my area haha.
Amazing. Were you using the MC-21 to adapt the 150-600?
Thank you! Yes I was using the MC-21, it's worked pretty well in my year of using it so far, here is the review on it with the Sigma 150-600 if you want to check it out.
