Sometimes what we initially picture doesn’t go how we plan but what we end up with can be even better than we thought! That’s the beauty of wildlife photography!
Great video and stunning shots once again, Jeremy. Loved the shots of the gull with the bridge in the backdrop the most, although the ducks you got later were very close with their piercing yellow eyes. Looking forward to your thoughts on the Sigma 70-200 and maybe even a comparison with the Panasonic.
Thank you! Yea I think I felt the same with the Golden Gate being my favorite as well. But those moody shots of the waterfowl were also pretty great to get a chance at!
Hi Jeremy, these shots are just stunning! I'm always fascinated how close nature and wildlife is to us humans. It's not all about travelling hundreds of kilometres to take amazing photos. Sometimes it's just enough to go into your backyard or local park. Thank you so much for taking us with you on this trip. Keep up the good work! Greetings Max
Yes, It really inspired me to take out my Camera again.. Just got too busy with my work , lost the fun of being outdoors with the Camera - Thank you my Friend :)
All the bird photography is stunning! Love the backlighting and how close up the pictures are!❤ Thank God for the beautiful creatures he created! And great job Jeremy! I admire how you kept at it and persevered even though it seemed like you were getting no where.😁
I second that! Point Reyes is beautiful, and next to the animals you listed there’s also a chance of seeing badgers, burrowing owls (personally encountered a very bold one on a fence post), long tailed weasels, and tons of birds.
Pretty close, yeah. If you go in the next couple months the bull elk should still have their racks and after seeing your videos I'm sure you could get some insane shots! Really special to be able to photograph elk like that right next to an ocean backdrop. @@JeremyNeipp
Congrats on the hoodie and ring necked pics! You got so close. I have gotten hoodie pics like that, but ring necks are usually a bit further out at best.
Another fantastic video, Jeremy! Love the narrative and pace! I think that the song sparrow and junco shots might be my favorites…but there’s so many great ones! 😁👍
The problem is not "with plans" but would be "not having enough alternative plans". Make sure to have internalised plans A through Z and go at it with open mind. One of the plans will get triggered, or a variant thereof.
Haha yea you’re right 😂😂 I was so preoccupied with not getting the shot that I didn’t show as much excitement about the duck lol. I also was probably not as excited because it flew off immediately and I knew it was too far off to get any usable photos

Amen! Being adaptable is key 😎
that's true, and as always, we need to not give up, until the end! Great video.

Haha yea you’re right 😂😂 I was so preoccupied with not getting the shot that I didn’t show as much excitement about the duck lol. I also was probably not as excited because it flew off immediately and I knew it was too far off to get any usable photos
