Thank you Patrick for doing what you do for us mere mortals here in Australia. I wish I could be there, but something called the Pacific Ocean & a fistful of dollars keeps me away from attending this incredible show. Thank you for doing the walk around, it's better than nothing & I appreciate your effort. Great videos, I have been watching them & learning so much about Chevelle's, even though I am a Mopar Guy. Any muscle car from that era is beautiful all of them. All the best from Louis from Australia 👍
Pat ❗ I'd rather go walk around a show like this. Than go to the Autorama held in Detroit. And I'm a Detroiter 🇺🇸 Keep em original I say ... All that Detroit heritage 🇺🇸
I'm so glad to have grown up when I did in history. Can you imagine a "show" of electric, turd-pods with voice-activated navigation in the year 2050? What a mess.
I went to the show but it was so crowded that you could not enjoy yourself. I saw more on the video then I did in person. I always enjoy Mr. Nichols videos
I had a few of them. The one that stands out is that orange 64 Polara 500, mine was that weird teal but man that car was bullet proof. It would throw a hubcap half a block if you took a corner wrong.....Thanks for sharing!
Wow, Great Change of pace, I'd lose my mind there, every brand, I wouldn't know where to look first. 😄 Back in about 85' I had money saved and I was looking for a car, my friend "Chevelle Joe" was selling his 72' Chevelle, Red, white stripes, auto, newly rebuilt 350 out of his 67 SS, .30 over, 202 heads, 780 holley..etc. Paid $1,700 for it, but the day I was going to buy it my friend Jeff told me a Blue SS 454 Chevelle convertible like that one his friend had,I had seen on the street before was 4 sale, he was selling for $5k, I almost changed my mind and bought it, but not wanting to spend all my money saved I bought the 72' I had committed too already. I think of that every time I see a blue convertible..😄 I was happy with my 72', but I think; you can't touch those cars for that price anymore.
Patrick, at 15:50 on the video, the Frost Green 300 Post...I think thats my old car! I sold it to a guy named Albert Galdi about 10 years ago....he restored the car and put a ZL1 in it...that has to be my old car....but I couldn't tell enough from the video. It has been in car magazines.
I remember when many of these could be bought for five or six thousand dollars but you knew you had to pay “a lot” for a top notch car. I rue the day I passed on a 69 Hemi Charger for 5,000 because it needed some work.
So many muscle cars in one place! I wonder how many hundreds of thousands of combined horse power is in this building? I don't remember the three tail lights (@ 2:55) on a mopar. I say mopar because I don't know what model I'm looking at. It's shaped like a charger. Whats that cutlass @ 7:04 all about? It looks like someone took a 4" paint brush and painted something down the side. What's your favorites? Mine are: 1. Chevelle 2. GTO 3.Camaro 4. Cutlass 5. Nova 6. Corvette 7. Skylark/Regal 8. Boss 9. AMX 10. Charger. Thanks Patrick for the walk around.
I'm more favourable to Mopar, but I love all the sleeper cars of the 60s and early 70s. Cyclones and Cutlases Darts and Novas. Nothing produced today will ever be a classic car or truck.
I gave up on having a cherry car. There is everthing ever made flying through the air on the freeways Rocks fying like bullets. And parking way out in the parking lot and still because it looks good somebody will fuck it up,and the mean ass sun destroys everthing made from petroleum within 5 years.Bums me out because I love fine cars.
I understand the reason for "Tributes" & " Clones" but have issues with it, doing it because you can't afford the real deal is ok, but than people start trying to fool the public is what is bad for market. Reminds me of sports card collecting in early 90's was great, until companies flooded the market & fake autographs started robbing kids & collectors to the point people quit collecting and having fun.
Hey corvairwild. You gotta go. My wife and I drove 850 miles each way last year in rain and snow. Worth every mile. Best cars you will ever see. Great job as always Patrick.
Thanks Patrick. I wanted to go this year but I guess I will be planning on going for 2020. I figure the 70 Chevelle 50th Anniversary will be spotlighted pretty heavy in 2020.
except for the opening at a distance behind signs, did someone jerk your camera arm away every time you saw a Pontiac and say DON'T LOOK AT THAT??? I saw rows of them, but only the briefest glimpses instead of the long lingering looks you gave every thing else. - THUMBS DOWN
I think those were the two 69 ZL1 Camaros that sold at Mecum as a pair for $1,050,000, maybe, a blue & orange one, I don't remember the black stripes on the orange one though.
With the speed of innovation regarding electric vehicles, especially the batteries, cars with internal combustion engines will be museum pieces in 20 years; hard to find parts and fewer and fewer shops to work on them. Basically a novelty for collectors. Gas stations will be converted to charging stations. Auto parts stores will be a thing of the past. It will have a significant impact on our economy, both in the products and services that become obsolete, and the new industries it creates. That said, these are still awesome vehicles. Very cool to see.
It actually would take hours to video all of the vehicles in mccormick plaza it would have been nice for you to video the first generation Chevy IIs that were there
I remember seeing the supper bird as a kid in dealership , orange with a wing walking to the store, to young to really understand what it was all about
You walked past the '69 Skylark GS that was prepped by Joel Rosen ala AutoMotion in Long Island NY. It was just featured in MCR, Muscle Car Review, along with the two '69 COPO Chevelles at the beginning
Wow Patrick ooh ahh look at all those cars you found how do you do it, oh Patty you sound just like Matthew McConaughey, Patty is your pre-built 396 column shift Yenko Nova there, we haven't heard anything about it lately. Have you had it authenticated yet. I've been sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for all the major magazine articles on the 396 column shift Yenko Nova to come out.
Primed Evil not that I recall. I know there were no 69 sYc 427 conversion Yenko Novas. There has been some attend in the past of course but not this year. Like we’ve been over before there were only 38 or less 69 L78 396 Yenko Novas that ever that had the chance to go through the sYc 427 Supercar program. The exact amount of the 38 getting the conversion is still unknown.
@@patrickglennnicholsmusclec1674 I know they are really rare u don't see them too often...u know how many exist today? Or how many of the "38" that are still around
Primed Evil about 10 or so. My Rally Green original paint 1 owner example is the most recent to surface with docs to prove it was born as one of the candidates.
Muscle car heaven👍👍 for sure.
Thanks for walking us around all those great muscle cars!
Announcer: Everyone leave the building.
Also, Announcer: Except Patrick Glenn Nichols, he's cool.
Lol well if you say so.

I’ve NEVER seen so many Daytonas and Superbirds in one place at once!!!!!!

That green 1969 1/2 Superbee A12 car is sweet one of my dream cars
Thanks Patrick for the walk through . I love all muscle cars but the GM cars are closest to my heart.
Thanks for sharing PGN! Couldn't make it this year.
Very enjoyable. Thank you.
An excellent show..went on sunday..in my backyard.
Goals. Thanks for sharing Patrick 👍👍
Heaven on earth
Great vid.
Hey Patrick, how much money in total do you think is under that roof? What a unbelievable showing of cars. Thanks for sharing.

Rosemont

a lot of very nice cars,i was there,i knew a guy in wi that had a 69 chevelle post 396,no idea where it went, too bad. good job Patrick
I was there also yesterday... Didn't know you were going to be there also... should have done a meet and greet.

I was going to go, oh well, 1000+ miles away, next year maybe
Amazing!

ps3613t I love them all with Chevelles being the unanimous king of muscle and they usually fetch the most interest as well.
Patrick. Right after the Bullitt Mustang there were two Mopars missing wheels and tail lights. What's up with those?
Grabber blue mustang were great
I'm more favourable to Mopar, but I love all the sleeper cars of the 60s and early 70s.
Cyclones and Cutlases Darts and Novas.

Kind'a bias, lmao....
Passing up the Ford Cyclone and not at least say something?
Thanks for Specializing Glen, keep up the good work!

Same thing with pocelain signs
What I want to know is when are they going to fix all them old cars up. It's a shame to see them just sitting there being neglected like that !!!!
My uncle had a 69 Skylark GS,said he got beat once by a 69 Chevelle SS L78 no less👍🏼
A little more attention to the Oldsmobiles, passed right by a 69 Hurst. They never get the respect they deserve.
11:30 not my proudest fap

Why do you skip over the Ford's?

68,69,70' some of, if not the best years of Muscle cars.

I love the Pontiac Judge, but the 68' GTO's especially in black look so sinister right from the factory.
Those front ends look so cool.
