THEY’RE STILL OUT THERE!!! Old Warehouse Discovered Hiding A 1970 LS6 Chevelle Over 45 Years

  • After following dead end lead after dead end lead I finally was able to find this elusive 1970 LS6 Chevelle that I’ve been chasing for over a year. The Chevelle was discovered hidden under a large amount of miscellaneous junk in a old storage warehouse since 1974. This Chevelle hails from the Flint, Michigan assembly plant which makes it very rare. Flint assembled LS6 Chevelles are the rarest and very very few are known to exist especially in Tuxedo black. Ride along with me as we do a thorough walk around of this King of the Muscle Cars Barn Find LS6 Chevelle. If you have a rare find to share or need assistance authenticating a 1970 Chevelle you may contact me at pnichols26@yahoo.com or on FB at Patrick Glenn Nichols Musclecar Barn Finds. [THIS CAR IS NOT FOR SALE.]

Glenn, I'm 62, and growing up, a kid a few years younger than me had an LS-6 4 spd Black with white stripes, I know it was an LS-6 as I changed bent pushrods in it and the covers had never been off, the valves were out of adjustment, and after I replaced the bent pushrods and set the valves, he said go ahead and take it for a ride, at the time it was blindingly fast and the tires could not hold that car, it did also have a 4:10 and we talked about switching his posi and gear into my 67 350 camaro which was a 4spd/3:31 rs/ss Tahoe turquoise black vynal, we lived in Madison Heights, Michigan.

Why is it that nobody ever lines these cars up when they park them, they’re always scattered like they’ve been in a friggin tornado!!
