Hi Chris, that's exactly how you eat it while it freshly hot. Inside that Vietnamese steamed Pork bun (BANH BAO). INGREDIENTS: Pork, Chinese sausage, boil chicken or quail egg, green onion, white onion, green peas, dried Woodear mushroom & black pepper mixed, etc.
Wow that was incredible ! I'm still dreaming of that first bite!

Awesome video as always Chris. Thanks for sharing. I think the Banh mi bread 🥖 different stall have it’s own way of making,but at the end they are all delicious. I like the Viet papaya salad too, very refreshing with lots of herbs. Vietnamese love their herbs a lot though. As for the baby chick I think it’s roasted/soy sauce quail, a small bird. Actually I have it in my country and it’s very tasty. Anyway I hope you and Gladys are having fun in Saigon. Take care and stay safe bro. Cheers!

Pork Bao. Mostly ground ginger, ground, pork soy sauce, cooking wine, sometimes half a boiled egg. My favorite. Chicken Bao too.

That pork bun sure looks divine on my scene. I honestly love eating SE Asian food especially like, Thai, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Singaporean and Chinese dim sum. Street food in SE Asian countries is amazing, delicious and a must try!🥰

You eat Banh bao like that no sauce and thit means meat and the one you have is the cold cut ones. The Pate is usually duck liver.

Nice Vlog! FYI: The correct way to eat a Chinese or Vietnamese Steamed Bao is the Peel the entire outer casing because the the outer casing are touched bt hands multiple times while making it.

Foam containers are frequently RECYCLED (washed) and dried in the sun.
One good thing about VN is that the food inspectors are busy (unlike China) and most of the food is good. REMEMBER - only buy from vendors that are crowded or have a queue waiting to get in (fresh food).
