- Caledonia Gold polished porcelain tile installation is our latest large format tile install of March 2021. Caledonia Gold come in 24"x48" dimension. This white polished tiles have a high gloss look making them look very elegant.

How does this kind of flooring do with kids? Is it slippery
Hi Joe thanks for your comment. It's the question everyone has but if you could walk on these floors you'll agree that the floors are not slippery and we have installed quite a bit of them and have 4-5 more projects coming soon using very similar floors, are you in Austin?
What color grout is that?
@@nallely.garcia04 Great question, the grout color on the floor is from Mapei UltraColor PlusFA and the color was: Avalanche

The product can be purchased at Floor And Decor, sorry don't know why the price for that product is in California but here in Austin TX at the time of purchase was around $3.69 per square foot
I got my polish porcelain delivered today for our home project from home depot but it is extremely slippery how do you use this flooring with out been slippery? Why I see other peoples projects with this finish? Or what do you recommend? I am extremely sad I will not be able to use it :(
Hi María thanks for your comment and sorry for the disappointment of the product...but, there is still hope there are floor sealers that add more grip to your tile floors

What brand of grout did you use? Im doing 12x24 with 1/16 grout line on floor,
In most of our projects we like to use Mapei grout. This is the product we used www.mapei.com/au/en/products-and-solutions/products/detail/ultracolor-plus
Are these polished porcelain tiles slippery or safe to install in a kitchen?
Hi, thank you for your comment. It is a polished floor but we haven't heard or gotten any negative feedback about being to slippery in kitchen in fact we install a polished tile in all the bathrooms that you see in this video
Is tile durable enough for the living room? How tough would it be to replace a broken/chipped tile in this kind of installation? Thank you.
Hi. Yes the tile is durable enough to be installed in a living room. In this project the tile was installed in Entry, living, dining, family room, kitchen breakfast and hallways oh and in a powder bath. We recommend you a have a pro replace the broken or chipped piece, it is a process and you need to know what you doing. One piece can take up to 2 hours. Removing and installing new piece. Overall the floors are very beautiful and look very very elegant in person
How about the maintenance? I see footprints and little scrathes with light focus. Is there any remedy to clean it ?
@@sirivenola7518 If you are concerned about footprints and scratches, please don't buy tile for the floor.

We currently don't have a branch there but we do get request from your area every now and then
I am in Tx. I just recently had that installed in my newly bought home. I got them from floor and decore. I dont know if you got the store over there in Florida.

Im glad i saw this video and got some ideas from it. thank you. 🤙
Could this be used in a bathroom on the floor?
Hi, yes at minute 5:21 of the video you can see 2 bathrooms with tile, different color tile but same finish and same brand.

What is the grout line mm for this?
1/8" of an inch or 3.17 mm

@@rizwanirfan5249 It's fine. Tile needs to rectified and floors must be very nice and flat so you don't have lippage. what type and size tile are you using?
