- Just a bit of a shakedown ride to make sure all is good for our upcoming 4 day trip , a glorious afternoon out on the bike visiting a few churches along my route, sadly all of them were locked so unable to get inside.
Let’s hope the weather is kind for our trip, it has put down a lot of water lately so what could go wrong !!

Everyone’s different, but I’m not a fan of this new frame bag fashion that seems to have become THE thing to have over the last 5 years.
I’ve got a rear rack with Carradice super c panniers, and lo rider racks at the front with another pair of smaller Carradice bags. I can get literally everything for a two week camps in the four bags with nothing strapped onto the frame, bars stem etc.
Two bottles on seat / down tube, and a tool tube in another cage near the b/b

That’s fine , I wasn’t a big fan but it’s great for carrying stuff you need quickly and I find it useful . But each to their own and what works best for you is what matters. I do miss the bottle mounts tho 😂 atb Dave
can't beat them backroads dave . sounds like cable tension on your rear mech try turning the barrel adjuster on the mech a notch or 2 clockwise. hope you're trip goes well 🚴👍☀️
Yeah they are so peaceful , thanks re the barrel adjuster , I did give it a 1/4 turn which I think has sorted it . Looking forward to the trip Geordie 🚲⛺️👍

No it’s just a gel seat cover I got, softens the blow on bumpy canal tow paths 😂 atb Dave 🚲👍
