“O” the joys of those father son work together moments. The bonding can only grow during those precious moments.
Cole it is so nice to see the relationship you and your Dad have.
I call this togetherness with Brian and Cole. ❤❤❤
Cole, excellent job operating getting the bale out.
No messing around at Sonne Farms, Cole delivers a good quality video...
Farmers are patient and persistent people. There is always another day. ❤😊
Always nice having someone to come rescue you. And you got to see your honey during the day
But we didn't see her. Did she really come to the rescue 🤔🤔🤔
Happy birthday Brian.
Your gonna make a great dad Cole, we're excited for you and your beautiful wife.
Geez that second baler already looks like a genius purchase!
Thanks Cole………Always love a “ride-a-long” with Cole! It’s so hard to believe the difference, last year to this one. So much grass!
Loved the part when you were dropping the bales, going back and forth, it looked really cool. I Appreciate the time you take to entertain/educate us.
Water tank and fire hose is a good addition. 1 of those things like a smoke alarm and insurance that you buy and hope you never have to use
Cole, your videos are always the best.
Hahahahahahaha, love your sense of humor Cole, Brian. The looks make me laugh. Lost slot of time on the cutter binding up. Some hard working, hard playing' son of a guns. Looking forward to the next one!!
You two are like the dynamic duo !! Batman and Robin!! Jk … I wish my Dad was still around. I miss farming with him.
Did I miss a video in the last couple of weeks? Keep seeing congrats to you & Tiffany on your expecting a baby. Saw someone mention that they saw it on Instagram. I don't have Instagram. Did you ever mention it on one of these videos? I remember some teasing on a video when I thought your dad got Sunny. People were commenting about 1st you get a puppy, then you're expecting a baby or having a baby. I knew your folks were beyond having babies. Unless your mom is 20 years younger than Brian. So is Sunny Brian's puppy, or Is he yours & Tiffany's puppy. I see Cole has Sunny with him on the 4 wheeler, in the truck, & in a tractor. Saw the video where Tiffany bought Sunny toys, & I have seen a pen in the barn with Sunny in it. I turned 76 on July 4th, did I loose my memory along with getting a yr. older?
G’job y’all, adapt and overcome. Take care and keep em comin🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸
amazing video. so glad to see all the bails of hay. Maybe you wont have to buy any. thank you guys so much
I enjoy watching you and your father working together from Pennsylvania.
Dad's pup must be eating good he's growing..
yes he is!
After having to buy hay last year, that grass looks great!
Very creative videography!Really nice to see how well you and your dad work so well together.
Great job mowing hay Cole
Brain “The CLAVE man” Sonne!
awsome video cole thumbs up and shared
I really enjoy watching your channel , brings back so many good memories on our farm. 😊
Have a wonderful weekend Sonne farms! 😊
You two work well together! Never a dull moment in farming
Brian the man of knowledge 😊
Great video. Really glad you guys got that hay wrapped up.
Love the camera views..
I look forward to every episode. I get at least two laugh out louds per episode! Never change guys!
The Hay Boys at it again. Some nice looking bales.
Another excellent video, Cole. Brian has the jokes. Lol. Thanks!
Now that the hay is dried it really shows how full of leaves it all is.
Thank you Sonne farms
Good video Cole and Brian & Tiffany didn't see her but she was there yal stay safe
The mishaps were small and easily fixed so all in all I'd say you had a very good day ! 👍
Thanks for letting us watch !
Carry a can of yard guard in your cabs and when you have to get out to work on the machine just spray some and it’ll control the mosquitoes greatly for a few minutes
I love the different perspectives of the hay coming off the baler. Thank you for the video!
It’s so nice to see how tall the grass is this year compared to the last few years. I’m so happy for you both❤
Funny how you get a “back up” bit of equipment for the ditches but it quickly becomes useful for the extra bales you’re making! What an excellent way to christen the equipment
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊
Who loves to bale hay? Another great video from the Hereford Girl!
Kay You Slackers ! - Bring bac Song O the Day ! ( Lol
Loved the nice day bit
Great video Cole and Brian
Thanks and GOD BLESS
Cole and Brian, some day would you go over the readout information while bailing or planting. Cole said how many bails the bailer said it made, for example, where do you see that information. Where do you see that there is a problem with the machinery? And what are the cables connecting when you plug them in? Love your videos! I’m learning so much about American beef and corn production! Thank you!
yes!
Reed Canary makes awesome feed, but usually the 1st crop gets too ripe and is not good. 2nd and 3rd cuts work really well in our beef program
Howdy Brian, Cole, I hope ya'll are doing well,
That's a good baler, we have the same one, JD 560 M, we've never had a New Holland baler, probably never will, those are some good looking bales, Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends
For some reason I really like watching ya'll bailing !!
Well hey, you got her done! I know we have those hiccups doing hay from time to time too, but you and your dad did a good job keeping them going, so it's all good, right! Thanks, have a great weekend!
Thanks. Nice future feed.
The long work day stares at the end slayed me.
Nice haymaking.
The design flaw of those 16’ headers is the circles that feed the outside three ft of cut into the conditioners. The 13’6” headers have the same conditioner rolls without those complications. Think about one of the smaller horsepower (170-200) swathers with a 13’6” disc cutter. Much easier to road between fields also. And much better conditioning.
Thanks for the ride and always make me happy to see that i am not the only one whit issues, greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Good job guys
Greetings from Waukesha Wisconsin, you guys rock.. Work hard, care for your animals, each other, my the good Lord watch over you
Thanks for another nice video.
I can't believe that your windrower doesn't have a header reverser as standard equipment since Deere's competitors have had that for years. Looks like it would save you a lot of time and grief.
😢 thanks for the video.
great explaining about the different grass's
I had to look away when you pulled the jammed up grass out while the tractor was still running, perhaps impossible for an accident to happen but I could only imagine the worst 😂
Beat that spider didn't know he was gonna be making a cameo appearance on Sonne Farms.
Cole, have you thought about building a support for those hoses so they aren't rubbing against the cutting deck?
Cole, your swather keeps plugging because you either need to adjust the stripper plate on each side of the rollers or replace it. It shouldn’t ever plug behind the drums. The clearance adjustment should be almost hitting your drum on the corners!
great video brian and cole
Enjoyed.
Good to see boys get some moisture down south my cousin farms hay in central Alberta rained all around them this year
Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian.
Was a pleasure to watch and interesting for sure.
Wow. Struggles with both balers today but you and dad got the breakdowns fixed in good time and pressed on with the project.
Never seen a bale in back of that bracket on the Deere baler where you had to spike the bale to get it out of there. Most interesting Cole. You got it going again
You had trouble with your cutter plugging. Would it help if you cut at a slower speed????!!!
The baler Brian is using seems to have an electrical short in a connection of some sort. Maybe you could replace that connection wiring if not to expensive. Just a suggestion to look at.
Thanks for a real pleasurable video doing more of your hay work. Hang in there.
Thanks Cole and Brian.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
You ever think about getting a tedder. This may help make the hay dry faster. 😊
That would be another nice tool to add to the inventory
Cole add a large plastic tote next to the fire suppression unit, an extra
275 gallons if needed.
You and Dad putting out some good hay rounds.
Great video it would be interesting to know how many bells you got on the second cut of the same fields last year versus this year. Maybe a quick update on how much better your harvest is this year than last year.
It's been a week for breakdowns. I feel your pain.
Sounds like you need to barrow Doug Larsons (Larson Farms) struggle bus.
Awesome video Cole. 🚜🚜🚜
Speaking of alfalfa, we are chopping some right now
love the vids cole
Are there limiter adjusters on that transit for the baler rack? That thing seems like its going to pound itself right into the repair bay. Congratulations too Cole, to you and Tiffany.
I live near the Chamberlain SD and some farmers were harvesting wheat 😁
Next time you update your MoCo, check to see if flail tine conditioning is available. I have that on a 956 pulltype and it is problem free. No worries about stones braking rolls or tearing the rubber off. Selling point for me was grass hay dries faster than with rolls. I mow alfalfa and leaf loss is acceptable to me and my customers. The tines may have been cheaper than rolls but plugging up is next to impossible.
Give us a total when the season is over compared to last year, I remember it was pretty low count and you had to buy bales to see you through. Thank Sonny sure is getting “big”.😂
Thank you
Hey cole and brian! Hook the baler monitor to the starter on the 4050! Not to the one battery. That tractor is still using 6V batteries. To get 12V you need to hook it to the starter as its its 2 6V batteries in series! Hope that helps (we did the same thing on our 4050 with a 688) but that was before i knew better.
it depends which battery we hook too
@@briansonne814 possibly, all ik is we had a nightmare with our 688 before we hooked it to the starter. After that it didnt skip a beat. Wish we woulda never gotten rid of it.
@@pistonringfarms8107 i had a new 688 years ago. it was awesome
I love that accumulator
Great video and awesome you got.an ok.second cutting. God Bless.
For the mosquitoes, try a mixture of TEA TREE OIL and water. Most insects can't stand that smell.
Thanks 😊
Glad to see I'm not the only one has issues with mowers and balers getting plugged. Your bale moisture must be real high, how do you deal with the mold issue?
Impatience can cost you lots of time that you could have been making progress somewhere else.. thx for the video!
Nice baler with the end that hold up to 3bakes which is pretty slick
Really good video. I’m so happy to see you getting such great quality hay. Just curious, how much would it cost to add an accumulator to the New Holland??
time for cool one
Check out an insect repellent called Ready Ranger - works like a champ on biting bugs and no-see-um’s here in South Carolina.
Lol, I bet you could've changed that belt in the time spent unplugging but I remember the desire to keep going, get it done also
Team Brian!! I think you figured out what I’m saying but not saying!! Team Sonne Farms!!
lol
I remember the last time you replaced that drive belt, you had a terrible time with it. all that “pulling, tugging, jerking”!
Good video good to see y'all
That spider at 4:27 was fun!
I miss the song of the day............. we still haven't had geed rain like you guys got, only two cuttings if we are lucky
Nice video
Don't worry Cole. Flavor flav couldn't wrap either 😂😂😂😂
lol
@@briansonne814 you and cole are a great crew, great people and glad I ran across you guys channel. Still catching up. Keep on keeping on. That's all I have to say about that 😅
@@joespooner3966 thanks Joe
@@briansonne814 happy birthday Brian. May you have many more to come. Great job being a good father to your children and husband to your wife. Keep up the good work and words of advice
@@joespooner3966 Thanks for the kind remarks.
