Having a tracker of sorts with different powers and materials would be a must. Definitely a very simple and easy to use program. Thanks for the continued videos.
Good day.. I have already purchased the Laserpecker 2 and it will arrive within days... Is it possible to engrave on iron, aluminium, glass and leather? What is the strength and speed of each substance? Thank you Good Jobe keep it up 👍
Such a simple app, makes the use that much better. I like how it makes you preview it prior to using the rotary to make sure it will come out within the space. Great videos!
I was curious about the app, that’s about as easy as it could be! I do a lot of smaller hand cut dovetail boxes, this would be great for adding my logo and even some unique design pieces on them. Thanks again for the review and walk through of each piece!
Perfect for pens! It looks fool proof, perhaps I should win the unit so that I can test that it is. Chad I love the demos, thanks for leaving in the "bloopers", it makes you look more human rather than the superman you are, and we learn that we too can make mistake and still come out okay!
Awesome! I've been debating getting a laser. Several customers have requested engraving on the pens that they purchase from me. This looks like a great deal!
Thank you Chad, very informative video. I was looking at Laser Pecker's web site and some other sites, they have a Laser Pecker 3 and are going to be releasing a 4 soon. The 4 is a dual laser for engraving on multiple types of materials, but I think I will stick to the Laser Pecker 2 since you made it look pretty simple and I like simple. Great videos.
...really cool...so, I'm still waiting to see if you have very steady hands...😆 I still think you may be able to use it without the stand to engrave, say, the middle of a large platter or bowl...or you could engrave "on" and "off" on the wall for your light switch...or "go away" on your front door...😉 Or, I may be thinking of another laser...👍 Matt
Thanks for the review (#3) …. Very clear explanation of the process. Which model/package laserpecker 2 is this? I see a few options on the product website …
Wondering if the finished product is warm? The software seems like it is user friendly, for those of us who may not be very tech savvy. Again, thanks for the demo 😊
Good question. It would depend on what you prefer as well as what design you are doing I think. You can engrave lightly (not so deep) and do a regular finish prior to engraving and then the engraved part gives a cool texture. You could also do CA as well as inlay for deeper or more complicated/complex designs. There are lots of options for sure
The reason I ask Is because I use a inverter running off a battery at some of my events, the inverter max is 2000w, but I need to stay well below that for longer battery life
OK Chad before you give this thing away you have to do the other two uses with the rotary piece shown in the LaserPecker Store. The one where it moves along the board, and the one where the board moves. Gotta do it man!!!
Hi all, I am searching for a video explaining the windows laserpecker program, I cannt find any help at all. In particular I am looking to understand the relationship between the canvas size and the image size. Laserpecker site offers little help at all. Any help at all would be very welcome.
I’ve seen this before in commercials for it but to see an real craft person using it is better. Could use this in my small shop.
thanks!
The versatility of this system is pretty impressive!
yeah I have been pleased so far
Omg that is so so cool!! I want one! Thanks for the video!! I love your videos!!❤❤ And yeah inlay omg what a cool idea!!
Thanks so much for watching!
Love it! You are a good teacher Chad!
thank you so much! That is a wonderful compliment :-)
Having a tracker of sorts with different powers and materials would be a must. Definitely a very simple and easy to use program. Thanks for the continued videos.
100%
How do we use the "Material Testing" like on the desktop version?
Good day..
I have already purchased the Laserpecker 2 and it will arrive within days...
Is it possible to engrave on iron, aluminium, glass and leather?
What is the strength and speed of each substance?
Thank you
Good Jobe keep it up 👍
Not sure, it's been a while since I used it, and I gave it away shortly after this video. Hope it works well for you!
WOW that really looks like a great tool! You have given me a headache thinking about all the ways to use it!
oh no! lol
Pretty neat little unit. Thanks for the demo.
thanks for watching!
Such a simple app, makes the use that much better. I like how it makes you preview it prior to using the rotary to make sure it will come out within the space. Great videos!
Yeah it is actually a really great feature
Nice video.. looks like a great small engraver.. thanks for showing..
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for another great video! I love how it’s so simple for pen blanks which I mostly what I do.
thank you for watching!
Loving this thing!! So much easier than the one I bought years ago that is just collecting dust now!
Right! Hooray for technology in this instance lol
Thanks Chad for doing this 3 part demo! Never used a laser, I always have to sub it out.
yeah that is common for sure
Looks easy Chad . Great job ! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic Chad!! Thanks for taking the time to go through everything!
Thanks for watching! And its been fun cause it has been surprisingly fast/ easy to use
I generally do not watch product reviews on wood turning channels. You, however, caught my attention. Thank you for a realistic demo.
thanks so much, that is a great compliment and I appreciate it!
That is super cool! I've been thinking about getting one, Thanks for doing this, great info Chad! Tony
You bet!
I was curious about the app, that’s about as easy as it could be! I do a lot of smaller hand cut dovetail boxes, this would be great for adding my logo and even some unique design pieces on them. Thanks again for the review and walk through of each piece!
Absolutely
Fun! Always something new to play with.
for sure!

Thanks for that great feedback Tony! I appreciate it :-)

Yeah being able to engrave/personalize can set you apart for sure
Thanks Chad, love your videos. They are so informative.😃
Ahh thanks so much! I try to share info that I would think is helpful :-)
Thanks for the review. Have wondered about these for a while.
thanks for watching! I have just a couple more videos and then we will do the raffle :-)
I think this laser is awesome. Would open so many more cool projects.
for sure!
I agree with the statement I like simple it seems that even I could do this I don't like complicated. Didn't have personal computers when I grew up.
100% it is very user friendly for sure
Simple is always good. Seems to work great
It does!

Sweet, pretty awesome little unit.
totally!
Using the rotary allows you to do larger scale images. That is awesome.
Yeah it is pretty cool
...really cool...so, I'm still waiting to see if you have very steady hands...😆

Matt
I think you are right, this is the one, but I haven't tried it yet. Also lol about the door ha ha
Well done, Chad. Love your vids!
thanks so much and thanks for watching!
excellent!! I would use this tool to engrave customers names on the pen.
Yep that would be a perfect use!
Thanks for the great review Chad. It would be great to label or barcode stuff.
oh hadn't thought of that
Thanks for the review (#3) …. Very clear explanation of the process. Which model/package laserpecker 2 is this? I see a few options on the product website …
I believe it is the pro
The roller function is great.
right!
Nice, You might even be able to do one twice, one with cherry and one with maple or walnut for an inlay.
cool idea
This looks like a good unit be really good for a small shop
totally!
looks useful for pens and other round handles like pizza cutters.
Yeah a really good thing for pen makers for sure!
Pretty cool, I like the idea of burning an inlay channel.😎
right! Totally so many cool things you can do!
I’ve seen their promo videos. It’s cool to see and end user trying it out
thanks!
very cool, thanks for the demo
thanks for watching!
Wondering if the finished product is warm? The software seems like it is user friendly, for those of us who may not be very tech savvy. Again, thanks for the demo 😊
totally great for folks who aren't too tech savvy for sure and no worries about the temps as far as I can tell
Could you demo doing an inlay with it? Curious to see what the result would look like.
ohhh thats a good idea! I will take it under consideration :-)
Great job Chad,
thanks!
This was so helpful. I’ve been on the fence to purchase.
Glad it was helpful!
Very cool! Thank you for the Video!
Glad you liked it!
Love it! Can’t wait to try it.
awesome!
Just ordered mine. Im just wondering do you have to pay for the software or is the app included with the purchase price. Thanks for the video. X
Can it do things other than cylinders? How about a sphere? How about complicated shapes with little or no symmetry?
Hmmm I haven't tried anything like that yet..
I’ve looked at other engravers but they seemed to be a bit to complicated for me. This one looks like I could easily get the hang of how to use it.
Yeah my big laser took me some time, this one is super easy/user friendly for sure
Love the rotary. Looks very simple compared to the Benson Pace jig for Neje lasers.
I am liking it
Would you put a finish on it after you engraving it or before, also what type of finish would you use for it (ie. CA, or friction polish)?
Good question. It would depend on what you prefer as well as what design you are doing I think. You can engrave lightly (not so deep) and do a regular finish prior to engraving and then the engraved part gives a cool texture. You could also do CA as well as inlay for deeper or more complicated/complex designs. There are lots of options for sure
Looks great man!
thanks!
I really like this laser more and more
Me too! lol
Do you know if this will engrave on acrylic or resin blanks? Thanks
I didnt test it but it should :-)
I wish I could use a app with my Ortur LM2. That’s pretty slick
Right!
What is the power consumption? That would be great for craft fairs
It seems really mellow, like you could totally take it and do on site personalization for sure
The reason I ask Is because I use a inverter running off a battery at some of my events, the inverter max is 2000w, but I need to stay well below that for longer battery life
Can you sketch designs on metal also?
Yes and there will be a video coming up soon :-)
OK Chad before you give this thing away you have to do the other two uses with the rotary piece shown in the LaserPecker Store. The one where it moves along the board, and the one where the board moves. Gotta do it man!!!
Love these ideas!
Very cool!
thanks!
This looks really good. The price is a bit steep for me, but it's tempting 🙂
totally understand, good luck in the raffle!
Are you able to upload your own logos or just included clip art?
Yes you can put your own stuff in as well :-)
FYI, this is probably invaluable data for laser pecker, all for the price of 1 machine....no dummies there.
Did you wear your eye protection?
yep!
Can you make any design or does just have its own ⁉️⁉️⁉️
You can totally make your own!
@@ChadSchimmel thank you for your help
That's really cool!
thanks!
I didn't imagine it would be so easy.
pretty cool right!
Hi all, I am searching for a video explaining the windows laserpecker program, I cannt find any help at all. In particular I am looking to understand the relationship between the canvas size and the image size. Laserpecker site offers little help at all. Any help at all would be very welcome.
not sure, this is the only one that we did to explain the app, and then after this series we gave the laser away. Good luck!
Cool little laser.
100%
Can you make and engrave toast?
ha ha ha now that would make a great video lol
The app seems really user friendly.
100%
YES!! I want to win it!!!
yeah!!
Easy, peasy.
indeed :-)
Not cheap. Hopefully these will come down in cost at some point.
its definitely an investment for sure
