I'm convinced that Ben just have a walk-in closet in his house where all of the costumes are hanged
Yeah, he's shown it
He has an ENORMOUS walk-in closet, but doesn’t keep the costumes there😂
Why is he executing his costumes?
@@k8giggles 😂😂😂
Hung.
Hanged is when a person is lynched.
Hung is what you are.... meaning to say
The kids in my life who try to guess which stories will be on the Table News just freaked the hell out because they got 4 events right. I love it.
And me? Well... I get these notifications, and my day gets a little better and brighter. It really is that easy. Thank you, Ben.
Hahah nice
Nice
Awesome! Keep up the news learning!
Damn, I hope Connecticut's chicken made it out alright. And Florida being on the wind's side is the nicest thing he's done for Mother Nature
CT chickens want to get to the other side, because they're delicious for us.
Yep, I went there. The chicken crossed the road to get to "the other side" = death.
especially because most of the politicians in Florida don't believe in man-made climate change while Miami slowly sinks into the ocean.
Late reply but it didn't get to the other side. Not because someone hit it but simply because two people got it cornered on a van roof and the Police helped extract it and return it
Well, Florida breaks it all the time, so yeah.
Love how hell decided voting week was a good time to invade.
Well considering Hell has been running the elections for many years now seems very on brand.
november 5th.
it was a blood moon after all
It thought no one would notice
november 5
Colorado seemed happy to announce the pile up count
It kind of becomes a past time once the news reports it out here during the first snow. It's just a matter of how big it gets before the final story is released.
@@thomashoffman8916 Oh yeah. There's quite a few people here that are just not ready when the first snow hits, and the first snow hits *hard*. Though apparently this one on 6th was more of a black ice thing? Oh yeah, looks like CDOT didn't do their job, not exactly a surprise.
@David Chapman it's Colorado, most of it is the transplants that have the big SUVs and think that AWD means all wheel stop too. Snow in CO is nothing to be trifled with.
@@thomashoffman8916 oh that's good to know. I'm a transplant but I spent to previous 10 years in the intermountain west so I hope I don't contribute to the snow-aided idiocy
@@adedow1333 most transplants genuinely believe all season tires includes winter. It don't. Get snow tires, and get chains if you drive a van or pickup truck! And don't get the cheapest shit you can, you only need true snow tires like once or twice a month for three months. Most people just keep a spare set in their garage and switch them when a storm comes through
to elaborate a little on WA windstorms: they're never impressive by themselves, but we have a LOT of trees here so even a moderately powerfull wind will throw branches and small trees at power lines across the state. the power usually doesn't go out for very long as long as you're not out in the sticks, but it is a pretty common problem for us during the fall/early winter.
yeah even eastern WA had a small outage
My grandpa had a poplar tree fall over, including the root ball
That is some powerful wind to throw trees clear across the state.
Add in the fact that we had an abnormally dry fall, and then a bunch of rain just before the wind...equals trees down everywhere.
My family got a second outage like two days later for whatever reason
The storms is something I'm pretty used to lol
I’ve been waiting for this today… god bless Florida , he’s definitely the funniest
As someone from SW AR who had his kids in the hallway while I stood on the front porch with a drink watching lightning torn skies and driving rain for a funnel… was glad to see AR show up to remind TX and OK we had them too. Really though. Was pretty bad but could have been a lot worse. Had at least three touch down within 30 minutes of me. North south and west. Sirens going off all over town, folks texting each other trying to figure out in real time where the tornadoes where and who got hit, cell phone going off with emergency notifications saying DONT stay outside and to take cover. I’m bad at following those instructions….
I understand your desire to watch the storm. I'm from Central AR but live in MS.
Central AR had the sirens going off to. It was really irritating because I had things to do, but no I had to “StAy InSiDe WhErE It’S sAfE”.
Somewhere near Branson had sirens go off. That system was heading towards central Missouri but I ended up falling asleep before it got here. The thunder woke me up later but thankfully that system didn't keep producing tornado's otherwise Missouri would've had one or two as well.
Missouri gets forgotten about the December tornado last year. One they didn't expect formed less than half a mile from our home. It killed an elderly couple, injured a few others. I believe 1 or 2 horses died too sadly. An ef3 tornado I think they said.
There was one in central that got so bad I actually had to go inside once.
I want the us government to go “that wasn’t our drone strike” level a base with antipersonnel missiles and say “THAT is how we air strike now compare”
Hellfire R9X aka the “knife bomb” or the “flying Ginsu” is how we airstrike now. Leave it to the U.S. to make a missile into a flying knife
Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma fighting over tornado quality is definitely a thing. I remember in college in Arkansas, we turned a tornado into a dorm party. Ordered pizza and watched the weather next to a floor to ceiling wall of windows. Poor girl from Virginia came running in screaming "You guys! There's a tornado warning!" We all just looked at her and went "and?"
Tornado? Huh didn't feel like a Tuesday.
This is why I can never trust myself to tell whether something is a big deal or not.
Literally from Missouri and didn't even know about the cobra thing lol, what a way to learn
Funny thing is, this has happened before!
@@Truman5555 yeah, there was like a dozen or so that got loose down round Springfield right?
Also, you'd think Venom Fest would be in like Central or Southern Missouri, something rural and not at all cosmopolitan. Nope it happened in a suburb of St Louis (albeit a fringe suburb).
Just hearing of this now 😂 I live right outside of stl. I want to tell the table we have tornadoes too 😂
Great stuff! Love arkansas being completely ignored, its very accurate
yes it is, even when the President was from Arkansas noone cared well except Ken Star of course
Yeahhhh happens all the time
Unless something get dumped on i30 like frozen pizzas, then we make the national news.
Yeah we're just kind of used to being ignored nowadays.
"The worst part, was that nobody asked it why." CAUGHT ME SO OFF GUARD.
Honestly I’d be more map at shaggy being called a rapper if the idea of the Gov just assuming every black singer is a “ Rapper” didn’t fit so well😂
Ohio has always had weird laws n outdated issues. A friend of mine got a ticket for spitting on the ground in 1992. It was in the grass actually. Didn't believe him till he showed me the ticket.
Ohio Issue 1. Sets rules for granting bail.
Amends the Ohio Constitution to require courts setting bail to consider public safety, the seriousness of the offense, a person's criminal record, the likelihood a person will return to court and other factors. Removes the state Supreme Court's role in setting procedures for bail.
Nothing about feminine hygiene products.
There was a 100+ MPH gust in one of the mountain passes during the windstorm here in Washington too.
Also the upward trend of Washington screen time continues!
We also had a windstorm in Eastern Washington but he gets even less screen time.😆
Always happy to see my fellow west coast states seen more!
I love the personality of Washington as "the guy who doesn't want to be here". He even gets his cascadian separatist flag shirt.
Rookie numbers
Luzerne County in Pennsylvania ran out of paper for the voting. We fixed it, and polls stayed open until 10pm in Luzerne only
How did they run out? Just a little curious here, were they not aware of how many potential voters live in the county?
'Just call Duke energy..." sent me into orbit my guy.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Come to the Portland area where you can hear people from San Francisco ask how to call PG&E instead of PGE.
“Is it like the Duke of energy” 😂😂😂
If your gonna do a follow up with the actual results of interesting votes this midterm, Michigan just passed all 3 proposals it had ballot!
We need some Maryland representation
We got the best state flags! And crabs!!
No I mean the sea creature!
No wait come back!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣💀💀
I'm ready for colorado to be tripping balls on mushrooms next week after the law passed legalizing (technically for medical use) shrooms
Wait. That actually passed?
I’m… not surprised. That kinda tracks for us now
Chaos as usual, love it
"Time is meaningless"
Help my brain smol
Talk to my mom about the illusion of time, you'll understand soon enough
Time is an illusion and so are pants. (Also this was filmed before the results were in.)
@@B2WMI fully endorse that.
They legalized weed in Missouri but they somehow crammed CRT into the bill.😭😭😭
I mean it kinda makes sense, you would have to be high to come up with something like CRT!
What is CRT? ^^'
@@krankarvolund7771 I think they mean "critical race theory", which is the assumed (or incorrectly assigned by politicians) name for what they actually want to teach in schools (I think CRT is a college course originally) , and I wrote out a bunch of my perspective crap on it but deleted it because its sortof irrelevant to your question.
@@krankarvolund7771 CRT stands for Critical Race Theory, a college-level course given in law school as an elective that studies how racism affects common social institutions like policing. The right-wing hit on it as one of their stupidities and claimed elementary schools were using it to divide people to make White kids "ashamed" of their race or some stupid nonsense. Mostly, it consisted of teaching actual history about slavery was somehow "bad". CRT isn't taught in elementary schools AT ALL. It's entirely a college-level course and only in law schools.
@@DrachenGothik666 Oh I see ^^
Big news for Missouri, ammendment 3 was passed so now pot is legal for anyone over 21
The Florida thing was so true, everyone was kinda just like “oh cat one anyway what’s for dinner?” Like I only knew it was coming two days before it hit because no one really cared lol, I was happy it came through because it made it really windy
Connecticut and the chicken, though! 🤣🤣🤣
So, no one stole the cobra. The guy selling it, was just a lazy dumbass and didn't seal the bin it was in properly, and it escaped. It being stolen is a story they're weaving so that the convention center, which is on a college campus and frequently hosts student activities and weddings, is allowed to open back up for business even though there is, in fact, a cobra loose somewhere in the building. They have no evidence of anyone entering or leaving the building overnight when it went missing, but the Venomfest community has collectively agreed that they're going to lie and put people in danger so that the event doesn't get permanently banned or shut down.
VENOM FEST?!? How have I never heard of that? I live in Missouri!
Colorado just counting up slowly, it’s just beautiful
Can't wait to see you tonight Ben! Fire bettys!
Jesus Christ and I already had four snakes today in my house
The Air Force seriously drew....a frank and taters, let's put it, in the sky...near a Russian Base? XD
I wanna know that pilot's hobbies cause he's probably played CoD or something. XD
Gods the chaos that is this country! I have to get my news this way or I would cry.
In Florida, I'd be pretty damn mad about losing power to some measly 50-70mph winds
I hope non-Americans watch this channel to really start understand that the US is huge, diverse, and fucking chaos.
My only message for non-americans is that every state is their own country at this point
So… nobody asked the chicken why it crossed the road? How are we supposed to find the answer if no one’s willing to ask?
Yes no clue how over 100 people crashed on 6th in Colorado but it happened and only minor injuries were reported
I don’t know what’s more surprising, the fact that over 100 people crashed, or that no one was seriously injured
@@emberandfriendsanimations2454 I guess the road was covered in ice and nobody could stop in time at slow speeds
Yesterday we had to vote to remove slavery from the constitution in TN 🙄
Will the bill remove slavery in prisions too? (Yes this is a serious question)
@@2avcrm allegedly, but TN...
I'm almost afraid to ask, but did it pass?
@@Whisper_292 yes, and only 170 yrs too late
I mean, this is a good thing. States really shouldn't assume that antiquated, backwards bullshit won't come back just because it's antiquated and backwards. Doing a thorough cleanup of problematic laws and amendments is the responsible thing to do.
Escaped/stolen cobras have happened too many times this month...
As an Ohioan now that we're coming out of the break between election seasons I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the topic of swing states.
And you don't even tell me where the Cobra is now I'm afraid
My grandma almost got caught in the Arkansas tornadoes
North Dakota just passed Term Limits for our Governor, House, and Senate position! We /unfortunately/ did not pass the bill for legalization of Marijuana.
Well 2 out 3 ain't bad (in this case 1/2).
"Nobody asked it why"
OMG!
“Why did the chicken cross the road?”
“I don’t know, but he sure as shit Suez Canal’s the highway.”
oh, this was a very good one! thank you.
You're doing someone's God's work! 😅 Thanks Ben! You and Philly D are all I need!
The chaos at the end was just hilarious
As a native arkansan there is nothing more true than my homestate being the joke between Texas and Oklahoma
...and to the REAL Kansas..but pretty state tho. Better than Missouri.
Arkansas should just rename itself Archkansas
Like archmage is more powerful than mage, Archkansas would be more powerful than Kansas
Meh. At least in my part of AR OK is considered the real joke and TX… well we tolerate them because we have to go there for a lot of stuff. But the constant circle jerk over being from TX gets old quick.
… pirate Kansas?
@@I_Love_Quokkas God help you if they're from Texarkana.
I'm always entertained, but the CT punchline... Damn, son, that's the good stuff.
i realize it might have more to do with the difference between the time it was posted and the time it was filmed, but given the time it was posted, I love the fact that florida makes absolutely no mention of hurricane nicole, even though everyone else is talking about their windstorms. it just seems in character that florida wouldnt even notice a barely cat 1, lol
Not even a cat 1? 🤔 I wonder how fast the wind and rain is right outside my window here FLORIDA! This shit's gonna kill our business today! OR worse, make us insanely busy coz restaurant hurricane party! 🎉 🥳 🎉 ⛈️
california: we had a tornado yesterday - F0 - lasted about a minute...
Yeesh, I hadn't heard about all the weather, though I can't say I'm entirely surprised.
"good" to know that pilots of military aircraft and/or their commanders are STILL about as mature as teenagers.
99 car pileup, loose cobra in Missouri... Wait, venom fest is a thing?
Oh, now it's 101.
Hoo boy, this is a lot of chaos... And you haven't even had time to see the mid term results yet. We rerally need some good news.
The worst part is...nobody asked it why
Truly tragic my friend. You have my condolences
I lost it when he said “nobody asked it why”
Erm.. Ohioan here. "Ohio Issue 1. Sets rules for granting bail.
Amends the Ohio Constitution to require courts setting bail to consider public safety, the seriousness of the offense, a person's criminal record, the likelihood a person will return to court and other factors. Removes the state Supreme Court's role in setting procedures for bail."
nothing about feminine hygiene products bub. We are a farm state for the most part but not quite THAT backwater.
I just want it on record that TECo has more service vehicles per square mile of service area than any other electric power company.
IDK if that's true, but it seems legit. Especially when they can send "60% of the fleet" to assist another power company with repairs, and Not fall behind on their existing maintenance and repair schedules.
TECo sent more than 60% of their fleet to Ft.Myers after Ian, and still had power resorted to all of the TECo service area in 4 days.
Hey yall fun fact that no one's talking about..... Colorado just made magic mushrooms legal to grow and use over the age of 21! (You can't sell them though)
That chicken just wanted CHAOS... bet ya Florida had something to do with it.
Florida and I said "Enh, not even a CAT1" AT. THE. SAME. TIME. I need to go home and rethink my life.
I'm confused. At 0:38 Ohio suggests a law that doesn't sound bad to me? Feminine hygiene products is like tampons and stuff right? What's bad about providing those things? I don't get it, and California's mad so i must not be getting something.
Speaking of voting, my state of Kentucky just voted "No" to a law thay would make it illegal to preform any abortion for any reason, and that our state constitution could never make abortion a right, to the actual shock of myself and every other Democrat in the state.
It was -25 F and I got my ass to the polls!
40,000 minks were estimated released here in ohio and they’re having to use snow plows to clean up the bodies. It’s not fun but it is intresting
You know what makes me laugh Western Australia is twice as big as Texas and ten gallon hats originated in Australia. Look at old photos of the wild west and they are wearing bowler hats
Whenever the animals got mentioned, I am convinced they planned Planet of the Apes kind of takeover.
Meanwhile Vermont in the corner voting entirely red for the senate, entirely blue for the governor, and not banning slavery at 100%
So a slight caveat on the Ohio story: this _is_ a proposed bill, but it's in the state legislature, not a ballot initiative. It wasn't up for vote yesterday.
Illinois also had a tornado Saturday go about a mile from my house. 😂
LOL. Hello from those of us who are in a Cat 1 Hurricane in Florida right now. We are indeed on the wind's side.
I made it into a Ben Brainard sketch! (I was one of the western Washingtonians without power for two days.)
As a person who lives on the border of Oklahoma and Arkansas I can confirm we do argue about who's tornadoes are deadlier
don't forget a maybe CAT 1 is getting ready to visit Florida this week
There were touchdowns all around me in texas, thankfully, none actually where I live, but it was still bad.
texas gets plenty of touchdowns, it's just that none of them are made by the Cowboys.
(I just really wanted to make that joke. i dont actually care about sports. and yeah, texas myself. its been pretty bad)
I get so excited when you post !
If only if someone asks the chicken why, we could've answered the age old question
To try to find his head!
Mike the Headless Chicken
NOT from Florida. Colorado!
Damn, the states that had wind issues wouldn't like Wyoming or Montana. The winds there are horrendous during winter season.
gaht damn that spiraled outa control and I absolutely loved it
2:03 I had the same reaction as Florida 😂 here in Canada, southern Alberta gets way windier than that on a regular basis 🌬
Hang in there Washington!
Of all that happened yesterday for voting day, at least Missouri legalized recreational weed
Same with Maryland :)
Can I abstain? Politics need purification.
“The Duke of Energy?” 😂🤣🤣💀
I’d love to see Ryan Hall do an appearance as the NOAA
I'm always happy to see CT at the table.
I live in a college dorm in Washington. When the power went out it triggered the fire alarm so we had to rush outside and stand in the freezing cold wind at 3am for like an hour before they decided it was a false alarm
it is windstorm season here in western washington. waited about an hour with the lights flickering to try and bake cookies and just hope that the power didn't go out or a tree fell into the house.
Yeah. The real kicker for me was I just had my internet service restored earlier that day too.
That was the best time to know why the chicken crossed the road
Can't wait to see what you have to say about the clusterfuck in Arizona.
Counting the pile up. Sounds like winters on its way. Wonder if Illinois will see snow before February?
So America is on fire. Gotcha.
I'm with FL. 50-70 mph winds knocks out power? That's inept line management by the utility and/or the State.
South Dakota doesn't even start puttin out wind advisories til it's blowin 50+! Pretty same for WY and ND. 20mph wind is a normal day out there. Poor little Washington
THE CHICKEN CROSSED THE ROAD AND WE DONT KNOW WHY??!?
This is the only video that made its way through uninterrupted by the fucking tropical storm today
I love that Missouri is wearing a great state of Kansas t-shirt
As someone from connecticut. WHERE WAS THIS CHICKEN? WHERE??? WHY DID NO ONE ASK IT WHY IT WAS CROSSING NOT JUST A ROAD, BUT A HIGHWAY?
Why u gotta come to Orlando thanksgiving eve? I'm gonna be out of town!
