Doug Martsch of Built To Spill, the 2023 Noise11.com interview

Built To Spill formed in Boise, Idaho in 1992 but very quickly became the musical vehicle for Doug Martsch.
Martsch has built an incredible catalogue of albums and songs as Built To Spill with the most recent album ‘When the Wind Forgets Your Name’ released in 2022 and the Daniel Johnston tribute ‘Built To Spill Plays the Songs of Daniel Johnston’ released in 2020.

I talked to him in Columbus after a show about a year back and a guy asked him something (can’t remember) and he talked about how his ex wife worked on something. Can’t remember at all what it was. But I don’t think it’s on bad terms. Again I know nothing about it though
