Oh. It's simpler than I imagined. I thought it was one of those half difficult systems with observers and others but it is very simple. I love that. Thank you very much for the tutorial hehe. new sub
Thanks for this design, I didnt use the exact same thing but it still helped me find a way to easily zombify the villagers in my trading hall which i spent forever trying to figure out. Great design
I actually didn't know about weakness arrows or about piercing enchant to hit multiple zombie villagers at once with it. Finally, no more having to continuously craft the potion anymore, liked.
My guy you are a god. I've been looking for a simple design like this for years. Literally YEARS. You have my utmost respect! You were a big part of my childhood, cuz I remember being one of the nobodies in my school mincraft server, and so I watched your videos and learned all the farms and tactics. I became really popular, and people called me up specificly to their SMPs to build! I think your really underated! Keep up the good work man, best of luck! -SuperSalmonXD
Thank you for the video, If anyone is facing problems with the zombie not attacking villagers change the bottom block behind the villagers to a slab so the zombie can attack. Have fun.
i was trying to be big brain and doing this myself but it didnt work then when i realized my redstone skills are dogwater then i came to this video thanks a lot! its works
LITTLE TIP: If you do not have a nametag, you can use a zombie villager instead. First, trade with a normal villager (zombie villagers that player had traded with do NOT despawn, giving the same effect as a nametag). Then zombify the villager (make a zombie infect it). Use this villager instead of a zombie with a nametag to infect other villagers. He will not despawn. This is what I used in my trading hall.
Love this video, instructions are so clear and the work put into the video is amazing, the vibe from the video is also so calm and peaceful. Step 1 to the video, complete.
Hot Tip: Use trap doors as separating walls. You will fit in twice as many traders, and can hit multiple with one arrow if you lower the top trap door wall. Also Traders can stand in the harvester, making it even more compact.
Guys a tip if u brew 3 potions of weakns and fill a cauldron with dat then hold 1 stack(64) arow then right click on cauldron now u have 1 stack weaknes arrow
If your villagers trades are not resetting, it is most likely that the zombie is stopping them from doing so. I'm playing on a server, so Im not sure if that makes a difference, but yeah just be aware of that if your villagers are not resetting.
Ok so if YOU flipped the lever but the zombie isn't attacking the villager, the zombie is looking to attack you. So you must get out of the zombie's sight then it will start attacking the villager. I pondered about this for a minute but then I realized what was happening. The zombie prioritises attacking players over attacking villagers. Hope this helped someone.

@@JustSpectoR no, you need to make sure the composter in front of the villager is their jobsite and not some other random composter, unless they cant "clock in" and restock

I’ve got a question I’ve been trying to figure out - some of my villagers die or get zombified even though I haven’t put a zombie in the back yet. I made two back to back halls that are supposed to share a zombie but I didn’t light up the area the zombie would go. The thing is, even if zombies were spawning back there, how are they able to hit my villagers when the pistons are extended?
well i dont know all the answers, but make sure that no zombies get inside the glass, and also, villagers cant be zombified if youre on normal or easy mode. before you attempt to zombify your villager, switch to hard mode, otherwise you cant do i
It applies to the witnesses too if they're close enough in the area, but the discount for the other villager would be much smaller than the one being cured (cured=5%, others=1%).
One thing i forgot to note!
The zombie part of the trading hall only works in Minecraft Java Edition and Hard Difficulty!
Ok
it works on bedrock on hard as well
work on bedrock to :)
Bedrock also just gotta be hard mode
what happens if you do it in normal mode?

Why does the zombie need to survive? After you get the discount, what purpose does the zombie serve?
