- hi, in this video mister Steevie Craft had a pretty bad night of sleep, and woke up with only half a heart left. so naturally, for safety measures, he took the very logical decision of leaving his home and hunting a giant dragon.

nice vid, btw there's another method to avoid taking damage while the dragon is charging. After the dragon perches and charges towards you, you can simply dig down 3-4 blocks to avoid the dragon from hitting you because the dragon's hitboxes can't reach under the ground.
I found this out when i was doing half a heart challenge as well and it actually worked pretty well.

Hey Rhododo, since you like Programmer Art, I recommend getting the "Programmer Art Fix" resource pack. By combining it with the regular one, you can get classic style versions of all new textures. (there's also Programmer Art Ultimate which goes for an even MORE classic style)

Incredible ending. The anticipation as you made it to the dragon, and the incredible plan that you came up with to outsmart that dragon, it's mortal flesh resulting in it's own demise as the tables turn and it no longer having the high ground, and the tragic irony of completing the challenge yet failing to reach the finish line results in yet another cinematic masterpiece from Rhododo.

I really enjoy having old textures in the new landscapes
Honestly the minecraft songs you used during the video gave me such a good vibe, it feels like those youtubers at the time that didnt care about views or retention, so their video would just be them being themselves while playing minecraft. No lies. No objective, just enjoying.
Aquifers (Underwater Caves) are the best places to cave for ores, since they spawn less often touching air.

Something about legacy textures brings back memories of modded tomfoolery.
Imagine it ended this way:
He finally beats the dragon, boat clutches and then accidentally looks at an Enderman, ending the run and he has to do it all over again.
After finding the position of the blaze spawner I would have placed a portal on the nether roof, ignited some tnt next to it, and gone through it before the tnt expldes. That would have gotten rid of the lonked portal on the nether roof such that reentering the freshly generated portal in the overworld should again generate a new portal, this time in the nether right by the fortress.

You should try to beat the game without going up. Generate random worlds until you get one that spawns you on a mountain. The only rule is that you can not increase your y coordinate. You would have to be very careful about going down since you can not go back up. the same rule applies to the nether and end, just starting at whatever y your portal puts you at.

true, but the odds of that happening are very very low, and i think it doesn't happen on completely flat terrain, which was the case here, but yeah water would've been safer
@@Rhododo It does happen on flat terrain and it happens from a lot of specific heights
Camman18 made a video on it so I reccomend finding it (so you have that extra knowledge for the future)

i'm an old stubborn potato who stopped playing after 1.9's release and never got used to the second hand, you can see that i almost never use it
he is just so powerfull that it will be the one who protect the shield

Props for not using a shield and making it harder. Also really like that moment of all the designs you made to safely fight the dragoon. In practice, would those actually work? Haven't played Minecraft in a long while, but iirc, can't the dragoon destroy non-naturally generated blocks by flying into them?
I don't think they would've worked very well since those goofy designs are not 100% immune to poison balls, but I think the dragon can't destroy end stone so the dragon charging shouldn't have been too much of an issue

You know that if you drink fire resistance potion the blazes can’t do any damage to you unless they physically hit you so you can just bow him. I probably know why you didn’t do that. It’s probably you want it to be safer

10:29 im sorry but how the hell does this glitch work its literally frames per seconds what does that have to do with the minecraft code xd
My guess would be that since the default tickrate of the game is 20 ticks per second, putting your framerate at 20 frames per second makes it so that if you enter and leave a boat on the same frame, it's also going to enter it and leave it on the same tick. Which means you spend 0 ticks inside the boat, so it's basically just going to teleport you to the boat's location, and then drop you out of it before the game considers you inside of the boat, which means you're not affected by the boat's laws, so you end up being dropped inside the block under the boat.
I can say before even going past the little hello that yes, it is in fact possible to beat Minecraft without taking damage. I can't remember what video exactly it was, but some guy made it to the bedrock ceiling, only having half a heart since he spawned in
