After the dragon perches and charges towards you, you can simply dig down 3-4 blocks to avoid the dragon from hitting you because the dragon's hitboxes can't reach under the ground. I found this out when i was doing half a heart challenge as well and it actually worked pretty well.

After finding the position of the blaze spawner I would have placed a portal on the nether roof, ignited some tnt next to it, and gone through it before the tnt expldes. That would have gotten rid of the lonked portal on the nether roof such that reentering the freshly generated portal in the overworld should again generate a new portal, this time in the nether right by the fortress.

Props for not using a shield and making it harder. Also really like that moment of all the designs you made to safely fight the dragoon. In practice, would those actually work? Haven't played Minecraft in a long while, but iirc, can't the dragoon destroy non-naturally generated blocks by flying into them?
I don't think they would've worked very well since those goofy designs are not 100% immune to poison balls, but I think the dragon can't destroy end stone so the dragon charging shouldn't have been too much of an issue
Imagine it ended this way: He finally beats the dragon, boat clutches and then accidentally looks at an Enderman, ending the run and he has to do it all over again.

true, but the odds of that happening are very very low, and i think it doesn't happen on completely flat terrain, which was the case here, but yeah water would've been safer
@@Rhododo It does happen on flat terrain and it happens from a lot of specific heights Camman18 made a video on it so I reccomend finding it (so you have that extra knowledge for the future) Imma try to find it too if you cant do it
