For anyone looking for the next step,Cycra makes a taller lid. I added one to my YZ250F and added a small vent hole also.

    Hi there,
I have a 2021 WR450F and have a power flow kit to put into the bike over the weekend. Any map suggestions please? I assume the photo power turner has fail safes built into it so people can't blow their bikes up.

I wouldn't even bother these filters for the power gain.. More for the better air protection!

@@gorkzop I always take the normal twin air filters for my bike, never tried the power flow 🙂

    Have you dyno'd the 250f?
Also, would have been nice to test/compare without the cover on. I know just cracking the cover open and quickly reving it, it instantly ducks the cover down. Has to be restricting air flow. I'd bet that would make power difference.
    Thanks.
    Love real substantive provable numbers.
    Your new sub👍

I don't ride 4-strokes but repair them a lot and I guarantee that cover is restricting air flow and would benefit from some frogzskin vents

You would be hard pressed to find that horsepower gain on the track. Thanks for doing the test.

Hey mate I just installed a power flow kit in my 2020 YZ450 is it still ok to use stock map as I am not competent to use power tuner yet but don’t want to sieze the motor

You should be ok, just don't go any leaner or add too much timing. If you shoot me a email to 17judd17@gmail.com I'm happy to send you the map I am using.

@@17judd17 can you send me a map for my 2022 YZ450F? I have this air filter with a Pro Circut Ti-6 full exhaust. I was curious if I needed an AFR O2 sensor wide band or just use the Yamaha App……
