- Ever since it came out in 2016, the Vitara Brezza has been the best selling SUV in India for a long time. We drive the second generation Brezza that gets revised styling, redesigned interiors and a host of new additional features. Does the Sonet, Venue, XUV300 and Nexon have to be more worried this time?

Super review. It’s like a full-bodied wine, aptly right to the pallet! I have a feeling that the previous model had a bit cheaper plastic fitments. From your review, I get the impression that it has improved for this model. Our own ‘Maruti’ has come a long way. Waiting for a proper SUV from them.👍🏿
The only problem is price
Brezza now costs almost 18lakhs on road for the top end variant while its competition like nexon, sonet offer diesel engine and more features and costs less 🤷♂️
The Ciaz and scross are available for far better VFM
Nexon is the best selling suv in India for the last 6 to 8 months👍
Nexon is also value for money..
XUV 300 is also a good competitor

The all new MS Brezza seems like a really comprehensive all-round package for a common man's usage patterns. It should find as many audience as it has been through the years.
TBH, personally I'd not think twice before getting this one. Even though the exterior design doesn't impress like the outgoing model does, hopefully it should grow on us with time. The interior and the overall features are great IMO.
As usual, you have wonderfully covered all the in-depth details of the update on the new Brezza.

I wish the automatic Petrol is good to drive
But one more thing I noticed is that.. the top end Petrol ⛽️ automatic costs *16.5 lakhs onroad* 🙆🏻♂️🙆♂️🙆🏻♂️🙆♂️🙈 the *VFM* quotient of Maruthi is gone 😭
Better is *Venue DCT turbo automatic* for exactly *15 lakh* on road . ( 1.5 lakhs cheaper) and the engine is super smooth and fun to drive than the normal Maruthi engines
will get creta clutchless manual for 15 lakhs onroad with panoramic sunroof & more features
Unfortunately most of our Indian friends do not have drive experience in real and perfect (torque converter) cars.Maruti is utilising this lack of experience or knowledge in cheating the public.In a well designed TC car the gear should change the gear in D mode just above 2000 rpm(at least on flat road).But all Maruti cars which uses( TC )transmission are changing their gear at above 6000rpm,redline.

@@sammathew1127 I think that was part of a chrome package, there is a package with minimal chrome too. We had that in Vitara Brezza. We also got stickers back then which we discarded. I agree about interior and back design. They looks great.

Ciaz is a very good car. I would any day prefer to drive a sedan on highway long drives as it is more comfortable when compared to a SUV

1.5 litre engine plus torque converter.. City il max 14kmpl and highways maybe 16kmpl max. Athil kooduthal if possible would be in test conditions alone. Wont this be more accurate?

Plz suggest which car to buy Tata Punch, Kigar, Brezza
Brezza 2022 - for its 6 speed torque converter automatic. A better alternative to CVT transmissions. Mileage. Better looks. Service centres. Smooth engine.
Tata punch has only AMT automatic currently. Engine not refined as of a suzuki.
Kiger has turbo, but practically thinking, due to rise in petrol prices, when people are trying to save money, who needs a turbo? But when checking the onroad price of Brezza, kiger will be a economical option.
P.S. Just my personal opinion.
Wish they launch a barebones version with the K12 motor and without the hybrid system at a price of 5.99 lakh.

Japanese NA petrol engine is very reliable
1L engine with turbo useless anu. Power kanum but ah small engineine thalli pani cheyyippikkunna poleya. Better to go for 1.5 NA engine. Both stress free for engine and us. Japanese technology also🇯🇵.
