The fact that finding a PS5 is an absolute shitshow makes this 100 times funnier.
I really appreciate the commitment to cringe comedy on this channel. Whether its Rocco talking to a stranger about kingdom hearts or Rocco destroying a video game console, you all do an amazing job creating something that hurts a little to watch that I just can't look away from. Big laughs. :)
I should mention I think everyone at Mega64 is great my comment was Rocco-centric because watching him drag a disk on the floor has an affect on me

What works for broken discs is a vritroceramic gel. I tried it with my legend of zelda skyward sword disc and it worked!

@@Caroline_Alys It is. Its a $500 console that is still a pain to get & that certainly wont changw anytime this year because of that UK variant of covid.
So if they destroyed a real PS5, then these guys wasted $500, and the spot in whichever retailer they got the console from, the lucky chance they had to secure an order wouldve went to someone that wouldve actually played the console.

The PS4 was supposed to not have one at first. It didn't go too well when they talked about it. It just took a generation to get more people to care less about physical media.

@@foufoufun I guess the annoyance about xbox DRM with physical copies back then made me completely miss that news. I don't remember ever hearing about PS4 not going to have a disc drive, and I got mine on launch after keeping up with info.

It's funny how all the people who got upset watching Rocco destroy that PS5 also like to watch Hollywood action movies that destroy millions of dollars worth of cars, furniture, and other materialistic things just for their entertainment. The only difference is Mega64 did it better than Hollywood.

That's what I wanted to see the most lol. But considering the employee's face was blurred, he either wasn't told it was for a video or he didn't want to be shown in it. Seems reasonable for the latter since he could possibly get in trouble with gamestop

When Rocco drags that disc is exactly how my toddler picks up discs pulled out from my consoles. Jokes on them, I spend college tuition on reimbursing me for them.

There are so many parts of the U.S., and the world, with bad or no internet. Keeping the disc drive is so important. I really hope the disc version sells a lot better than the digital only version.
They say the best way of dealing with loss, is being present for those moments of passing, so this could've been a healthy experience.

Much as I hate to see a perfectly good console (or the PS5... j/k, it's good) destroyed, I'd consider it a win for science if they compared the durability of each to see which is the hardiest.
Only problem is they'd have to more or less do the exact same things to the others for that to be even close to scientifically valid.
