Hey, I have these! They will sometimes randomly lose all their battery charge and other times they will pause in the middle of a recording for no good reason. Just thought I should let people know!!!
Could you use this for church settings? I am looking for a lavalier microphone that I could use with headphone or something I could hear while streaming. I do not want it to be noticeable.
I've already purchased the DJI mics and really like them, but these seem like a solid buy and the noise reduction test was impressive. The mics themselves look kinda big (relatively speaking). At least in comparison to the DJI ones.
I have the DJI ones too and the absolute must for me is the function to set recording as soon as they are removed from the case... These look way too bulky
You can always use noise cancellation in post specially in DaVinci resolve , and I didn't like noise cancellation of this set up, removed to much from quality of the sound, kind of cheap reduction 😂
Absolutely not “budget” in any way. The price is still up their compared to mics you can find on Amazon but in my testing and use it’s incredible. I’d expect it to be at least $300.
I have tried it out and in my opinion, there has been a huge range in quality. I live in a motorhome which is not a particularly big area for recording but I noted a huge difference in quality, and some of what I recorded, was unusable with so much background noise. It did not work with a gimbal in landscape mode which is how I film. I tried using it as a hand held microphone as shown in this video and that did not work either. I borrowed the equipment from a friend so it was nothing lost but I was disappointed that it did not work.
I just purchased my unit😂😂😂, like I've been needing a great wireless mic and wanted to get the Dji mics however, it cost too much plus their were have an interference problem which is major for audio, so for this I didn't hesitate plus $30 off code!!!
I've watched a couple different paid promotions for this today with varying results, but not a negative word about the product. Let's just say I'm looking forward to some unbiased reviews in the coming days/weeks. Will you do a long-term review in the future with a little more critique of the product?
Keep in mind that it is budget compared to all the other modern wireless mics, and has a lot of new tech in it. You can pick up a wired lav mic for $20 and it will sound great
The more I use these mics, the more I hate it. The standalone recording doesn't even work without the receiver. I can't believe it. Try this... turn on recording, put the receiver back in the case and close it. After 1 minute. the internal recording on the transmitter will stop. In order for the recording to work, the transmitter needs a constant connection to the receiver. That just makes no fuckin sense. I hope they fix this in a firmware update otherwise these things belong in the trash.
Thanks for the video. I've asked this question before about other mics and I'll ask about this one. Is it possible to connect 3 or 4 of these mics to one camera, for 1 shot? Thank you!
Hello. tell me please, in ankerwoks m650 you can connect to the transmitter ,,line in,, instead of a lavalier microphone, so that there is an interlocutor in one channel, and music in the background in the second? And when connected to a smartphone, can I charge the smartphone through the receiver?
The issue with the anker is that you look like you are wearing a stupid anker badge. If there were blank front plates that came with it this would be such a better option.
hows the reception? have a pair of the latest godox mics and every now and then they drop half a second of audio and thats absolutely unacceptable. does that happen with all wireless mics?
It is possible with all mics because you can’t control air between transmitter and receiver, but you’re right that it’s a deal breaker if it happens in a video. I did not have it happen with these mics in all my testing. If they had drop out issues I wouldn’t have created the video
Not sure this should be supported at all. This looks almost like a pair of fake Nike shoes. Same idea, same menu system, same functionality. Not sure this should be endorsed at all. And yes, I do know that all phones kinda look like an iPhone too. But this is just too close a copy to be worth supporting.
Any info on the latency? I’ve seen 4ms for the Rode Wireless GO & GO II which is negligible. But I understand the DJI mic is 15ms - which rules them out to me for livestreaming. It would require shifting in post (for me) to avoid audio/video synch issues with recorded content.
this is my first time watching your content. how have I not seen your videos until now?! just subbed!
4 months later...same!!

Do you still have this problem?? Getting ready to buy these now.
@@nathancox-reed3671 literally buy anything else
Tyler: 250$ = budget
Me: 🗿
Budget? They are only £40 cheaper than the DJI Mics.
Appreciate your efforts champ ! Great video
Yeah, I'm gonna need that technology crewneck
why did they make the case so refelctive? A matt case makes so much more sense.
Is it good to stream

Can you retroactively apply the voice isolation on the app so you can splice between raw audio and isolated voice?
£250 is budget?
These are the ugly designs, I believe. The sound quality looks excellent but bulky, so bulky
The backup recording should be in the transmitter not the receiver.
Recording in the receiver is not a reliable backup.

It’s £250 indeed. Same price as Dji haha

Likely Issue for pros: the huge branding on the front of the device. Need some unbranded colored covers. I guess pros can paint them.
you skipped high noice reduction for a reason?! was it too bad :P
Great little mic but whats the lav mic you have clipped to you, can we get a link below for that option too?
DJI mics exist. Also not sure if this brand is Anker or something different entirely. Pass
For sure, the DJI mics are amazing but these are also $80 cheaper

I’ll follow up about them in IG stories but if they had problems I wouldn’t have agreed to make a video about them.
"LAST OF US" WAS AWESOME! So cool that they filmed in your backyard! Very insightful video since I love Anker products.
The video when testing at the beach is just perfect 🔥
No cons mentioned? Doesn't seem like a very neutral review unfortunately.
I didn’t see the Budget in this wireless microphone 😅 sure “Budget”
Error 404 : Budget pricing not found haha
He said budget 😂 what a joke
These seem solid! Great to hear about all the options out there
$200+ is considered a budget product? Man, I'm poor.

Anker just the best ❤❤❤❤❤

Does it connect to laptops for voice recording?
Can you plug wire mics into the round bits to not have the footprint on my person
What is the rain sound on the recording and how do you you remove it?
I don’t think you should do an entire series on wireless mobile mics but I’d love to see a review and comparison of the ulanzi wireless mobile mics.
How do you fix the fuzzy sound?
the design isn't slick but it does sound great
Very interesting 😮
Does this work with Sony zv1?
This has to be much cheaper if they want people to consider this over the industry standard which is the DJI Mic.
That’s the idea, same features for less money
Its 80 dollars cheaper, aint no way yall finishing the video
