I just bought it. When using the receiver with the lightning adapter for Iphone it only allows to record in Mono, not Stereo. None of the videos I've watched mention that. With USB C connector with Android phone it still allows Stereo recording
It is interesting what the mind does. With the mics attached to you as you were walking backward, my mind was hearing the audio fade...but it wasn't. LOL! I have been looking at this product or the DJI product. These devices have come a long way. Cheers for the content. Thanks from New Brunswick Canada.
Sounds good. But I was a bit disappointed with the noise cancelation. I have a Fulaim X5 which I use with my iphone12pm and CinemaP3. While it's noise reduction is only on or off, IMO it's better than the Anchorwork.
For almost 300$ I think the sound, especially outside with noise reduction on (worst with the high setting), isn't great at all and not usable for RUclips and other video creating stuff, unfortunately. I usually like the products from Anker, but in that case, I will go with the Rode Wireless Go. Thank you, for your video and the sound examples, it was very helpful to get a first impression!
I agree the outside example was better without noise cancelation. It really depends on the situation, amount of wind etc. I think it supresses noise best when the noise is reasonably consistent, like a train rumble or an air vent.
I concur - regularly use both the Rode Wireless Go II and DJI - and the feature sets are pretty similar, but the noise reduction needs some attention by Anker. As a regular consumer of their other products, I am going to bet there will be updates addressing this shortfall, sooner than later. Thanks, Patrick - appreciate this, and all your product reviews and shares. Being a solid “gear geek”, I’ll probably pick the AnkerWork up at some point… but not until I give the Deity offering a go - yeah, I gotta problem…
Do you have to download the recording and manually add it to the video on the computer? Is there any way this can be used directly on your phone with any pc editing?
Hello. tell me please, in ankerwoks m650 you can connect to the transmitter ,,line in,, instead of a lavalier microphone, so that there is an interlocutor in one channel, and music in the background in the second? And when connected to a smartphone, can I charge the smartphone through the receiver?
You said in your video that you would get a $50 discount but in your link its $30. Im looking to buy this but if its just $30 over the $50 discount, is it really worth it compared to the competition??
Hey man, sorry to hear. I have no control over the real-time discount, so in the video I specified "at the time of recording" since they might fluctuate.
Hey, I am a content creator on Instagram with over more than 420k+ Followers and I have to buy a wireless microphone now to step up the audio in my content. So according to you which ones are better? Ankerwork M650 - Rode Wireless go II - Dji Wireless Microphone. Waiting for your answer. Thank you.

I've only just noticed this comment. Thanks for bringing that up!
Thanks for the review.I am leaning toward this.
Excellent review - thank you so much for doing this! 🙏🏻
Glad it was helpful!
this is a good product I just bought it but how do you download the files to your computer
Connect a usb c cable from the case (with the mics in it) to your computer!

Ha! I swear I thought the same thing when I first edited the video. 100% illusion.

I agree had me sold up until the noise reduction prob be feature I won’t use be as once you turned that on it started sounding like a cellphone call
Great review, thank you! 1 question, If I am using a both transmitters for an interview style video, is is better to use Mono or Stereo ?
Congratulations 🎉 100k subscribers soon.
🙌🙌🙌
What is the rain sound on the recording and how do you you remove it?

Yes, by hooking the receiver up to your iPhone.
When connected to an iPhone and two mics are used, can it record each mic on a separate channel or are they blended into a dual mono track?

Interesting… I might pick one up!
Nice! How is the internal audio recording?
It's great!
I don't like the design and i think noise cancellation makes the voice sound quite bad. Nevertheless thank you very much for your review. :)

Well done.
Thank you!
Sold!
That's a really slick device. I'm trying to figure out a way to justify getting one to my wife. 🙂
Haha
when I see vertical I skip,,,horrible,,let alone the gopro sound
It's okay not much impressive to me. If I'm in the market to buy one. I may buy the DJi instead.
Just admit it, you are a camera 📸 snob. 😂🤣 This sounds like a great device.
😂
Wow
👏👏👏
This feels like sponsored content
Hm. Maybe that's why there was a clearly visible announcement of that at the beginning of this video 🧐
But sounds quality so shit😂

Not a huge fan of the Rodes. I use both the DJI and the Ankerwork ones.
@@PatrickRambles okay thank you so much
