One of the best Fulaim reviews I've seen and I've checked millions of them!!!
I have an X5. Initially I preferred the audio from my £20 PurplePanda wired lav since it was richer at the bottom end. Having played with Lumafusion EQ I now cannot tell the difference so I'm really happy. It's definitely best when closest to my mouth. I did try plugging the PurplePanda into the Tx but it wasn't as good as the native PP directly to the iPhone.

So glad you used the mic right from beginning. One of the problems I have with most other mic reviewers is that they only include sample audio right at the end or don't include ANY. Madness for an audio device!
Thanks I feel the same always watching wireless mic reviews with hardly any actual tests. Or just titled Dji/rode killer and the person testing it doesn’t have the first clue about audio recording 😂😂
Agreed. The review should be mostly on the item at hand and a few mins of another item to contrast. Of course unless it's horribly bad.

Fantastic review.
I just learned it records at 16bit where everything else on the market records at 24bit, that could be a bit of a dealbreaker for some. If you don't get your levels quite right, you're very limited by how much you can boost the gain in post unlike with all the competitor products.
Yeah it’s a substantial difference to 24bit, be interesting to see if it has a safety track
it does have a safety track, I have not had any problems with levels and no clipping, but I am a noobie. lol @@mrdrgonzo
Do you really think your background noise and for that matter any mic you plug into it deserves better?
@@keithwiebe1787 it's not so much about deserves better, it's just easier to make a mistake with 16bit, your levels are a bit too quiet and you can't recover them. A bit too loud and you clip. 16bit is fine for the final output, but during the recording 24bit is like a safety belt in a car.
@@DigiDriftZone My point is that 16 bit has more dynamic range than these wireless units could ever imagine.

Hmmm I was looking at the Lark M1 and then started seeing this pop up. For £110 it looks really good. I wonder if anybody has thought about 3D printing a cover for the front to hide the LEDs. If I do get this system I might just do that. Good video contained all the info I was looking for. Thank you.

Not a lot every voice is different, but I just added a 60hz high pass fillter, a mud cut around 250hz then just light compression
Have you tested the battery life to see if it stacks up to the manufacturer claims? - I'm seeing inconsistency there, some say 6 hours, some say 8, but can't find a test.
Also, size wise, they claim to be 1.8x smaller and 1.7x lighter than the DJI transmitter (47x26x13mm 18g on the X5 vs the DJI 47x30x20 30g), while having better battery, I mean, woah! - Is that true or are they exaggerating the specs?
Does anybody know of a seller on Amazon or elsewhere that sells the windscreen for a reasonable price? With a compatible mount that locks on it, because they're not using the DJI mount.

I’ve just purchased this kit for motovlogging, but I’m having a horrible time trying to make work with my GoPro hero 10 black, whilst having the transmitter inside my motorcycle helmet and receiver on the media mod, and suggestions on how to improve it?
is your helmet blocking the transmission to the reciever on the gopro? you could always try adding a lav mic so the transmitter is on your jacket instead of in the helmet. second option would be to sync up the internal recording afterwards.
@@thefullsetup I’ll give those ideas a go, I have closed up all the vents I can access, and my current wired mic is inside the cheek pad at the moment. I have found that if I aim the fulaim towards the cheek pad the signal instantly drops out, but if it’s facing directly up or down, the signal stays steady 🤔

Yep, feel the same way, when I get to far from camera 😂 Fuliam is good for us budget minded people. I use a Lavalier Microphone with it
