Do I need Nina for Bryce? Because on my first playthrough I don't have Nina and when I pick to recruit him, he refused and wanted to die.

Fun fact, if you do not do Adel's map but save Scarlet first, Fran is scaled up to level 8 to match the rest of the Rose Knights instead of the usual 6.

But you can get both of them if youvtalk with both of them and then go to the middle so you can unlock the middle mission that you have to defeat both of them

you can get them from a side quest after beating the last battle. there is massive map side quest battle where u can recruit numerous enemy units just by beating them.

From what I've seen, it seems that Selvie's starting level is not 6, but is based off of your save file level, as I've recruited her immediately after the tutorial with only using Josef and she was level 2.

These are not all the characters, there is also the gilbert that you can recruit if you tell his brother to tell him, and also you get an wolf and bear if you beat both of them

Nope.
This just seems like a general guide per region, not a strict order on how to actually recruit since you can get Rosalinde and Virginia at the same time. You literally just enter each zone.

Can’t say where he got those for sure if not in-game, but each of those images can be found on each character’s status screen if you scroll to the right when you see their sprite.
