Tim wrote this arrangement when he was just 19. He had sung it with several groups before coming to Home Free. But this is the only time it was actually recorded and it was made for Home Free as a group to sing this and bring Tim's arrangement to fruition. Looking forward to more Home Free reactions. I would suggest Mary Did You Know and Do You Hear What I Hear sometime soon.

When you have 5 beautiful voices and a reverent song, Home Free brings you perfection in 5 part harmony. They stick to a fairly traditional presentation, but with their sprinkling of dissonance chords and bell tones to make it new all over again.

Love it when these guys voice the bell tones🔔

Excellent reaction as always. You absolutely have to do two original Home Free songs for Christmas they are both amazing and hilarious. One is "Snow Globe which was written by Tim and the other one is "Cold Hard Cash" which was written by Austin. Both songs deserve radio play at Christmas. Tim shows off his max range on the high end in Snow Globe and you won't be able to contain yourself during Cold Hard Cash. I can see Sam falling out of her chair from laughter during "Cold Hard Cash". "I certainly did".

This one is so beautiful with Tim and Austin’s solos, still with Chris who is great with his harmony along with Rob and Adam gets to sing on this one!!❤ All the baby faces, especially Austin, so adorable!🥰. I love that they used this church which is so heavenly, great for the acoustics for this type of song, I am sure. There is another Christmas song they did in this same church too! They are sooo talented!🔥🔥
Glad you love them too, looking forward to seeing you react to more of them!!🏡🍟. Merry Christmas!!

Lovely reaction, the reason this is my absolute favorite version is that even though they display their amazing vocals, they allow the song to remain the focus. This song is so beautiful in its classic simplicity that lots of 'tricks' just take away.

Tim, the bass, arranged this song when he was 19. Pretty impressive. Love the bell tones and the descending notes too. Loved the song and the setting. It’s a church in Mankato Minnesota (where the band was formed). Good one B & B. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! 😄😍

Wasn't that fantastic? The best version I have heard. No theatrics, no one showing off, no "see how powerfully I can belt this out", just 5 voices raised in song. The bell tones, the falling "falls", Tim's gorgeous mellow start and Austin's ringing ending...as close to perfection as any recording of O Holy Night I have seen.
